I’ve had a UHC policy for some time (through Medicare). I stumbled across Health4Me while browsing health apps and thought it would be a good tool. I had to go through the initial registration twice before it would get my birthday right. It recognized my UHC ID right away, but my homepage is stuck on my Apple Health step count and claims record (which it says I have none - not the case). I can’t access the dashboard at all. The search function will only allow me to search for behavioral and mental health providers, which might actually be appropriate, as Health4Me is DRIVING ME CRAZY! I will be contacting their phone support, but I shouldn’t have to do that just to install and start using Health4Me . Whether I keep or delete Health4Me will depend on whether they can help me get this potentially useful app up and running.

Clunky, broken process and links, closed loop errors, and more... In times when medical information is critical, to have Health4Me as the only iOS resource is negligent.
Searching for a provider has to be exact and if you are unsure which medical center is in network there is no key or color coding letting you know for sure. Tapping on the medical center on the map does not offer more information, it just takes you to Apple Maps. What is the point of search then? It is as if the developers were hoping you wouldn’t notice that you are now in another app and hope you find more information that way.
Logging in often takes your through a closed loop that you ultimately have to go to their website to sort out before returning. Otherwise the error “system error, could not contact provider” will just keep you looping indefinitely.
On the plus side...once you can sign in, it does have your medical card information...so kudos to Health4Me developers.

I was so excited to see Health4Me being that I am new with United Healthcare. I downloaded Health4Me and proceeded to register. When I was done it said confirm registration through email we sent? OKAY!!
After at least 10 tries and emails trying to confirm I figured maybe I had a typo on the password so I changed it. Well!! No surprise it did the same thing. Every time I confirmed the email and tried to log in as it told me it would tell me I had to confirm my email?? Really... I even tried to register again but it told me I already had already registered. What it neglected to say was you are registered but you can’t log in because we want to keep sending you hundreds of emails so you can confirm your account. All I can say is I hope the healthcare they provide isn’t as bad as Health4Me .

First, could not login using my myUHC login - had to create a new this app ID. I created the ID ok but then Health4Me said it had to confirm my email address. Well clicking on the link took me to a page that said - “confirmation email link has expired” even though the email says the link expires in 90 days!!! So it says I have to login to resend the link but any new link it keeps sending has also expired! Then it says I can try and re-register and now it tells me it can’t find me in the system even though I used the exact same ID card that was ok when I started this process. So here I am completely locked out of Health4Me and out of my account and will have to spend my time tomorrow when the office finally re-opens to have someone fix this mess.

Won’t connect to Fitbit. Sends you to get a token then no way back to enter the token. An endless loop of xfer to token and refresh/login.

Finally made the loop from Fitbit token page back to Health4Me to enter the token. App says it connected, but it never synchs with Fitbit, i.e., zero steps every day. Called tech support and got someone who spent 20+ minutes putting me on hold for ‘2-3 minutes’ and ultimately only told me what I described to her in the first 15 seconds. She had to ask someone else each basic question. No help.

With device connected my iPhone loses 10% of battery every half hour. Disconnect Device fails every time. Deleted app to disconnect.

Received one invoice for one blood test from two combined providers, but app shows 12+ claims. All claims show amounts that may or may not reconcile with total billed. No way to concretely determine what is actually owed.

App has payment function but no way to see payments made. All claims say ‘paid online yes’ but no online payments were made.

Too many issues to mention. Premature roll out!

Health4Me makes it easy to track deductibles/max out-of-pocket expenses. I find the search function VERY useful when looking for new doctors/specialists. In fact, I made appointments with a couple of different specialists in less than an hour while using Health4Me . It would have taken me much longer to verify in-network providers, while still managing to find people with top-notch reviews (I’m pretty picky when it comes to trusting/seeing people for my healthcare). The only gripe I have is that some of the providers that came up in Health4Me ’s search engine had since been closed or relocated. They just need to stay more on top of keeping that information current and up-to-date, I suppose.

Health4Me is very informative and generally easy to use, but when trying to find doctors through Health4Me not all of the listings they provide are who they say they are. For example, they listed a UCI health facility as an option for making a neurology appointment on my own. UCI acted like I was crazy trying to make an appointment! The one feature that is awesome is call me now feature which has a CSR call me almost immediately. Every customer service rep called me has been very helpful in explaining to me my policy and all of this daunting things that come with learning about big insurance.

A few suggestions to make it even better... Allow the user to easily save care and service contacts information to their mobile device’s contacts, filter by premium designation, sort lists alphabetically, select and temporarily hold multiple entries to help narrow choices, and save choices of interest within Health4Me . Other big adds would be scheduling integration so that the user can find the available openings to visit a doctor based on the level of care needed and see waiting times at urgent care centers and hospitals.

I really didn’t think “they” could ever improve the United Health Care/ OptumRx sites until some genius came up with this. It works and it’s great. I can come here anytime and it takes me a minute to do what usually took 15 minutes or more on the other sites. Thank you for creating this easy to use app. Better than most apps. You left out all the complication. I’d give 5 stars, but I don’t want to jump the gun. 4 is my top rating. Great job with Health4Me. She, he, you should all get raises.

B4 I even say anything else..- Health4Me is a 100% FOR-SURE MUST HAVE if this is your insurance carrier! They've made everything so simple; Ex's being:
ESPECIALLY finding Dr's within your Network to find the Least Expensive Options, etc..

I would not only recommend having Health4Me, but say if you don't because of the way Health Insurance has been going & what not, you'll have an incredibly + tremendously tough time figuring out who to go to for any specialized appt's, or just being completely sure that what you've scheduled isn't going to involve any surprise//hidden costs where you get a random bill weeks after your appt via snail mail for something like $599-$1,450+ or more a few weeks after your appt....

If you've got United Healthcare or any others Health4Me represents..~ This is an ABSOLUTE Must to download ASAP. It has EVERYTHING I Need + More; And coming from someone who works in an industry where I deal with app development & similar services -- The UIX, (User-Interface), is by far what sets Health4Me apart making it a NECESSARY Requirement to utilize 4 aLL your Health Insurance Claims, Bills, Adjustments, &/Or ANY-ALL Types of Help possibly Required...

I hope this Helps anyone who reads this..!! Amazing job United!! Finally I'm extremely pleased with my insurance simply by developing this sole app to utilize for all my needs. Thank You..!!?!?!!!

I thought Health4Me was very good and intuitive up until the most recent upgrade. For some reason, the new design required the user to reenter lots of information that had already been entered previously. When I try to get some information from the tech-support people to explain, I could tell I had been transferred to somewhere offshore and the person had been given a script response to read to me. It was a totally different customer experience compared to when you reach the regular call-center people. It's too soon to say whether Health4Me has changed and dramatic ways with this upgrade, but it sure hasn't gotten off to a good start

Love this little app! Quick snapshot of claims with one touch access to full list and individual claim details. Convenient access to ID card, which can be printed or emailed. You can also add a card. I have not yet used this feature but I imagine it would be useful to add my pharmacy card. But my favorite feature is one-touch calling. If I have any questions I can ask to be contacted immediately. Within minutes my phone is ringing and I’m talking directly to someone who has full access to my account. Incredible convenience; Huge time savings!! It’s the only way I contact UHC anymore. Love it!

I'm one of those that do the most possible to avoid long wait times on the phone to talk to customer support. And Health4Me helps me with that. I can basically do anything through Health4Me . See what doctors are covered and which aren't, which pharmacies, which hospital. And you can also request to talk to customer support right through Health4Me and they give you a call on YOUR convenience. It's amazing.
I would love it if they added an "add to wallet" feature. Would make showing my ID card much easier.

This Application gives you the ability to see your medical expenses at a glance, find a Specialist or Physician, Dentist, Eye Doctor even Virtual care and Mental Health. It really has what ever you need to meet your Health needs and answer questions. i remember fumbling through EOBs back in the dating pontificating that it was a 2nd job to manage medical expenses, not any more with Healh4Me.
I’m looking to more integration with trusted health apps like Lebre system and Losit App, or health mate scale & Blood Pressure. I recommend Family download this application and enjoy ease of use App to meet your needs.

Way easier to use than in the past. The dashboard is great and shows all your important info at a glance, with the exception of your plan coverages (i.e. coverage specifics like medical equipment, well visit rules, etc.) - BUT, within two clicks, I found how to get a representative to call me, and I received a call about 30 seconds after choosing “call me now”. They verified my identity quickly and easily and answered my questions quickly, so everything was resolved in under 5 minutes - amazing!!
