I used to spend $1000s here a year. No more. Ever since they put in their new “system”, it’s been a total disaster. Can’t add to wish list, can’t see Reservations, can’t add to cart, can’t check out. When I can place an order using a browser, I’ve received damaged merchandise. Orders now take weeks to ship instead of what used to take a day or two. Whoever is running the ship there is a fool because they have no idea how much they’ve upset loyal customers. There are literally MILLIONS of other options, and Mr Porter went from the top of the list to the bottom.

25 minutes on hold to reach a customer service rep.
Then put me on hold (second time) to check about a 10% discount for the contents of my shopping bag which you emailed to me yesterday. Rep knew nothing about it.
After another 12 minutes on what she described as a “brief hold” I finally hung up. Completed transaction on line because these were gifts that people had selected; the fact that each choose the same item was a coincidence as each wanted a cotton hoodie.
Hardly a way to treat customers; especially those who are trying to complete a purchase (rep knew from the conversation that I was trying to complete the purchase). Certainly could have offered to call me back.
Should consider using the system where you can leave your name and number, not lose your “place in line” and receive a return call.
Will certainly effect my future use of Mr. Porter.

Okay let’s make no mistake, Mr Porter has a great selection. But when I placed my order the numbers started to change! So I ordered a pair of killer Chelsea Boots and the price was one number, let’s say $360. When I went to checkout the number changed to let’s say $395. I called customer service and asked why hey said taxes. I scratched my head and replied “taxes”? I then asked some questions to the CSR on the line and they told me they were located in London. I told them I’m in Los Angeles and this is an online purchase so whom am I paying taxes to? Not the the State of California, and surely not the U.S. Federal Government! Now like all of us, I purchase lots of products online, and do not get charged taxes... in another country! Not cool Mr. Porter
