Simply no longer works

This app use to correlate with some database that permitted it to provide an approximate elevation wherever you moved the cross hairs. Now when you designate a spot on the earth’s surface with the cross hairs and request the elevation, you get a message saying “Please try again in a few minutes.” Unfortunately, you just keep getting that message no matter how long you leave the app open and wait.
Free version is worthless, I won’t waste $ to see if paid version is better

I found it extremely difficult to use and the instructions were not clear.
Deleting it now.
Elevations do not run true

I know the elevations where I set pins. They were alarm from the edge of the lake where I live. I know the elevation of the shoreline of the lake. Also as I went around the lake setting pins on the shoreline they were off by at least 15 to 20 feet from each other.
