Bus Times London Countdown App Reviews

The ads are atrocious. Not only are they noisy and overlong, but I usually have to click “get” several times and go to BusTimesLondonCountdownApp Store for the games being advertised before actually getting past them because the button to go to the bus app doesn’t usually work the first few times.

I assure you I have zero interest in downloading these apps and there is nothing like being in a real rush to get somewhere and having to sit through Word Screech or Candy Chaos or whatever you call these eyesores. I would assume that whoever left positive reviews did so before the ads were added.

Also, the bus times are sometimes wrong.

Generally reliable and accurate. Handy sync with tube app and Oyster balance. Has had intermittent outages where bus times not available, and one instance of incorrect route that has not been corrected even though I notified authors and they acknowledged error. Could have better integration with google maps and search funtionality. Still even with these small issues, it's the most handy London bus app I've found. And free.

This is one of the most unintuitive apps I ever used. Not useful because I’m never quite sure what I’m looking at. I just want to get from point a to point b or I want to see a map with bus routes and my relative location. It probably does that but it ain’t easy baby.

Deleted BusTimesLondonCountdownApp . Can only view 1/2 the map on screen. Routes are either unavailable or ridiculous. I could walk faster. The Tube app is great in comparison. This is a sad app.

No matter what, route planner fails to find a route, even for something as simple as a route all on a single bus. Very frustrating.

"Unable to find any departures" is all it says for every stop I've checked.

I have no problem with ads, since they allow the developer to make money. But unfortunately on BusTimesLondonCountdownApp they happen right at the time you need to know the next bus within the next few seconds, thus making BusTimesLondonCountdownApp unusable. I’m deleting it and finding another one— sorry.

Very very very poor program.

This map is useless.

This would be a great application for London travelers if it could at least cache the bus schedule for the day or week.
Unfortunately, it requires a wireless connection to work.
Good for locals, not good for tourists.

I don’t mind ad-supported apps, but when the ads block the screen, it impedes functionality.

It is very handy to plan routes ahead of time, especially because I am not in London every day. It would be nice to have a map added to it though. Overall I like it and find it usefull.

It is always accurate unlike other apps. I love BusTimesLondonCountdownApp.

I use it in conjunction with Google -- nice to have the times of buses & exact locations of bus stops in addition to google's more basic routing.

For a free app it is fast and accurate you hardly notice the adverts and it has a great design and is easy to use definitely a five star.

Easy to use and info is usually accurate. Makes waiting for buses, or not, much easier.

I use this every day in London in conjunction with my Apple Watch. As I approach a bus station, I can look at which buses stop there and how long before the next arrives.

It helps me plan the time I leave and whether or not I have time for a coffee before the bus arrives. It helps make my day more enjoyable and less stressful.
