Crashes app constantly and permission errors when working on iPad Air 4th gen, but works fine on iPhone

Piwigo itself is really nice, I wish I could make the web ui as user friendly as Piwigo .

But of the few test uploads I did none of my Live Photos were uploaded with the “live” portion. My photos were apparently converted from HEIC to jpeg. And all of the .MOV files I tried uploading failed with an orange exclamation mark…

Im hoping this is just a bug or a setting I messed up. But it’s not looking that way…

I’ve been running the Piwigo for a long time now but suddenly it started crashing ever since the last update. My server works fine when using a web browser and nothing has changed there. Other people who who have not updated yet work fine too. It logs in ok but then crashes while loading. My server has over 85,000 images in it. Could it be memory? Dunno.

Images I selected to upload to my website are still pending hours later. I even restarted my phone, deleted the select images, closed Piwigo several times. Nothing helps — they’re still pending. Gonna try a reinstall.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to this latest release of this app that supports apps like this. It was really easy to log in to my personal gallery using Piwigo and uploads are quick and simple. The feature I would most ask for next is to support tag editing on upload. So far all you can do is define a name and description.
I'm pretty excited to see how this website and app advance and hoping to ween off sites like Flickr due to this self hosting awesomeness.

Love this app, but even though my user has HD enable and no matter whether I set the preview to original size and clear cache, I can’t seem to download the (very large) original photo size through the iOS app (I can download it from the web client). Is this a bug? Could the iOS app support dynamic downloading in the various supported sizes - this would be a nice feature! Thank you for all the hard work.

App needs the ability to auto upload camera roll. Been trying to find something to switch from Nextcloud. I like everything about this except for that fact.

Better than the backend. Modern, zippy and function. Not sure if will handle videos, though.

I love Piwigo! It is so easy to upload my photos and videos and it knows which ones I have already uploaded so I don't waste time uploading them again. Very user-friendly and I love knowing my pictures are backed up in another place. I also love that I can delete the picture in my phone but still view it in Piwigo and even download it back onto my phone if I want.

I really love Piwigo. I have a feature request and was wondering how difficult it would be to implement.
I would love the ability to browse a picture in Photos, and then open the picture in this app to upload it to my gallery. The problem I currently have is that it is not as smooth to scroll through nand find picture in the upload screen in this app as compared to Photos. Hope this makes sense.

Images no longer load, though my this app site works fine on iOS safari and desktop.

I love the sync feature and it has plenty of options

Piwigo is amazing! My whole family uses it to organize all of our photos. Scanning took forever but was worth it! Any idea if the this app team is planning Nextcloud integration? That would be a dream.

This is a well done, quick app that gives good access (upload, change, add, and view) access to this app albums. But it really needs a search capability!

The one and the only one web album, I installed on my home NAS , it’s easy to use and stable, as part of my life for over 5 years.
