Works less than half of the time

When it works it's fine, but most of the time it doesn't. Sure the banner appears on the screen saying it happened x minutes ago, along with all the auto-snoozes I didn't get because it made no sound.
These are marked critical, yet no sound.
I have to remember to check my phone to see what I'm supposed to be doing...if I could remember that I wouldn't need a reminder.

What irks me is that in the "trial" where I got a couple of alarms it seemed to work fine consistently, so I bought it, because I need reminders all day; everything from taking meds to picking up kids from school... With my busy schedule I can't have "notifications" that only work sometimes. But nothing I can do about it now.

Not effective for my needs

I was looking for an app to help my teenager get out the door on time for school (something he can set for himself - without Mom doing the prodding). I thought if he had verbal reminders he could continue getting ready without looking at the screen until a task is complete. “It’s 6:25am...you should finish breakfast and brush your teeth.” “It’s 6:50. The bus comes in 10 minutes.” So far ReminderwithVoiceReminders only seems to work when it’s open. Also, it would be beneficial to repeat the reminder every 20-30 seconds until it is checked off. 1-2 minutes is too long. I like that you can record your own personalized reminders and set the time but there are too many unnecessary settings...repeats every 20 minutes etc.

Fails in one integral way

I switched from another app that I loved that suddenly didn’t work with my phone settings. This one is good except for one massive flaw. Everyone you open ReminderwithVoiceReminders it sets all recent reminders to “completed” So if you ignore an alert for one task and then later open ReminderwithVoiceReminders to deal with a new alert it invisibly sets that older unaddressed task to done. I almost ran out of heating oil bc it did that to that recurring task and I missed a check u too the next cycle. My other app you had to manually check tasks off as completed before they left the list on the Home Screen of ReminderwithVoiceReminders that was much better

Unhappy about undisclosed forced upgrade to paid.

I found ReminderwithVoiceReminders and decided to try the ” Lite” version. I really like it. Accepted an update last night and in trying to save a newly created reminder, found that the prompt to upgrade to the paid version( when trying to save my new reminder) is not a prompt but a required purchase of the unlimited version in order to save my new reminder. $1.99 isn’t unreasonable however I don’t like the bait and switch tactics. I know I didn’t miss a free trial disclaimer because I had just installed ReminderwithVoiceReminders yesterday on my brother’s phone. If the Lite is really a 30 day free trial then just call it that. I also Do Not like ReminderwithVoiceReminders logo change to the same red V-like checkmark in the My Verizon app. The alarm clock was so easily recognizable. So rating an average of 3: 5 for functionality, flexibility and ease of use. 0 (zero) for no transparency of terms of use in ReminderwithVoiceReminders description.

Not useful as Wake Alarm

The tones/sounds only play for a brief spurt, then stop. Even the ones that you can select in longer sequences (i.e. 28S = 28 seconds supposedly) will play that duration during the “sampling” but not when set as the alarm tone. Same is true is you record your own. An 18 second recording was cut down to 3-4 when put to use. If you jump out of bed as soon as you hear your alarm this might work for you. But if you need an alarm that rings for 20-30 seconds or more, until you acknowledge it, this isn’t the one for you. Sure, it will auto-snooze and sound again , and you can control how many minutes between snoozes. But the alarm still may not wake you up fully in in any instance, and will still only sound for the same 5-6 seconds. I don’t recall if the Sounds are as truncated when used with Reminders, but they are the same grouping of sounds.

Missing One Big Thing

This is a great little app except for major thing for me. First, I like it’s simplicity and that unlike other similar reminders, it allows for hourly alerts. This was a big selling point for me. However, the big thing that it misses is that it doesn’t sync across devices. As a committed iOS user, I would like my apps to sync to my other iOS devices, especially my Apple Watch. Since I have my iPhone with me 24/7, not being on my watch is an inconvenience. But if the developer wanted to up their game, this would be a big way to do that.

Its better than most

Wish they had Kept the old alarm clock icon. It made it much easier to find him on the other icons on my desktop. Also the check mark looks like one for a sprint app that keeps sending me spam notifications. I thought it was ReminderwithVoiceReminders and so I deleted it and had to reinstall it when I realized that Just coming from the look alike Checkmark icon that sprint complete uses. Other gripe is that it says message instead of title for what do you want to be reminded about and you have to choose if something is repeating or not and you can’t change it. Sometimes I start out with a one time event and then it becomes a repeating a bit and I have to enter it differently.

Needs some adjustments

Needs the ability to copy a reminder so you can set a new one and just edit a couple things in the new one.
Also needs to not sent notifications on things that are set to an off status.
I use ReminderwithVoiceReminders for my work. Some customers I deal with multiple times a week. When I have something I need to do for them I already have a reminder setup for them so I can just turn on their reminder and it will remind me every hour or so focus on them until I finish my task turn it off. When I turn it off though it keeps filling up the notifications. So then I need to delete it. I don’t want to have to delete it because if I do then later I am going to have to recreate it.

I’m ADHD and can’t live without this!

With ADHD, I have trouble with working memory so, even with a calendar reminder, I forget what I’m doing and don’t get out the door on time. Often times I set my watch to buzz or my phone to chime but I don’t remember what the buzz or chime means!! So I use ReminderwithVoiceReminders to record my own VOICE telling me what I need to do and I can’t ignore my own voice!! (My husband is completely time-blind so he generally leaves the house at the time he is supposed to BE somewhere…so I now have him using ReminderwithVoiceReminders too.) I give elderly people rides to the the grocery store so it’s imperative that I don’t forget. ReminderwithVoiceReminders literally makes it possible to do my moonlight job!! Note: it is possible to name your voice reminders (type over the date in the top field) and easily use them many times. I name them by my clients like “pick up Judy” or “pick up Ruth”.

Great for alerts you just can’t miss

It’s easy to ignore IPhone alerts bc they all sound the same. When I absolutely can’t miss something I use ReminderwithVoiceReminders. I set the time for example to alert me when I’m getting dressed in the morning. So it spits of the message with my voice so I don’t need to click on the phone to see message. And I set it to keep repeating so I won’t forget. The thing I would love added is to have gps based alerts like Siri or to be able to have Siri activate ReminderwithVoiceReminders .

Flexible and user friendly

There are plenty of apps that do calendar notifications or wake you up. ReminderwithVoiceReminders instead fulfills a much-needed niche - extreme flexibility. I appreciate the fact that I can set silent, visual alarms; it is hard to find an app that will do that reliably. I appreciate the fact that, if I silence my phone, forgotten audio reminders are also silenced (still appearing on screen.) I appreciate the fact that I can set any kind of sound I want to, from discrete to obnoxious, for each individual reminder by its chosen name. I really like the fact that I can temporarily disable or reactivate a reminder with a single tap. I have a complicated work schedule, and ReminderwithVoiceReminders helps keep me on track. It could also be used for many other purposes - it is that flexible. I have been using it for a year now and rely on it. Please don’t change!

TBI, ADHD, PTSD...you name it, it WORKS!

I have a zero short term memory and my ADD is so bad that after two or three alarms or alerts I don’t hear them anymore. I am also a highly intelligent contextual thinker. I cannot do things and less I have a reason. So I record reminders that tell me what to do and why I do it. “Take your morning medication, you know you feel lousy when you wake up. You’ll feel better after you take it. So do it now!”

Then I add a picture of my faith and when I look like when I’m in pain. I love it.

This is the one!!! tried them all

Trust me, I have tried every reminder alarm to do list and everything and this is the best one I have ever tried easy to set up and does exactly what you needed to do. All the others are a bunch of baloney. This one is exactly what you need. I’m OCD and this is perfect. It does everything and it’s easy to set up and easy to use. This is the one you want I promise I’m tried them all this is unbelievably awesome great set up guys great deal programmer. Did an awesome job!!!

Unique Features

This is not just another reminder app in a sea of others. I can set VOICE reminders to actually tell me to do something ... or ... use the same recording ability to simply record a custom alarm sound.

Custom images to accompany the alerts makes for quick identification at the alert time or when organizing my recurring events ... as well as personalizing the entire experience.

Suggestion: Allowing emojis to be used as images would be a really quick way to add a very specific, custom visual.

Suggestion: Allowing an import of short MP3 files would make this a completely different animal! Imagine waking up to a line from your favorite movie or your own song ... things you can no longer add into your iphone music collection.

Great job!! And THANK YOU for not using the idiotic subscription model!

Good for Flexil study, and suggestion.

Most pomodoro apps supposes paper study, but it does not work for PDF app study on iPad, and ScreenTime of iPadOS does not work, too, because I am the owner of my iPad.
This Reminder app motivates me every 2-digit minutes to come back to Flexil from Safari, etc.
But still ReminderwithVoiceReminders needs more function : no notification when study app(Flexil, Anki, Notability, or custom setting) is active on display, Still notification with set image until study app is active on display, and more loud volumn enough to surprise.

Love love love this app!

ReminderwithVoiceReminders is easy to use, and it accommodates virtually every type and sequence of reminder from only one time to repeating on your desired schedule. I use it to remind me of every payment and automatic deposit due every month and a stand-and-stretch reminder every hour every day. When I had cataract and cornea transplant surgeries and had to use three types of eyedrops multiple times a day for each eye on its own unique schedule for months, it was perfect—once programmed in, I was never worried about missing a dose. It was my countdown reminder as I approached a long awaited vacation. I really LOVE ❤️ ReminderwithVoiceReminders!

Works Every Single Time!

I go to a Brain Injury facility and every patient follows a schedule (the staff is VERY particular about what time something occurs) tailored to his or hers activities, work places, etc. and I would have to make a copy of the schedule and keep it in my pocket as a reference. (example: Lunch is always at 12:00) This application allows the elimination of that schedule. I do physical therapy there every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and this application lets me choose just those three days at a specific time and an alarm goes off at a specific time telling me that I have to do it next. Once you plug in what you need it will remember it. Overall I love it and it has never failed on me!

Excellent!!!!!!!

Best reminder app on the market! Works well with voice over! Always on time! Needs a call button! When it is time for us to call someone and we are reminded of this, it would be nice to have a call button so that we could actually call the person that we are being reminded about to call ! Also it would be nice if ReminderwithVoiceReminders had proximity recording. Instead of having to tap the record button, it would be wonderful if we could just put our iPhone to our ear which would start the recording, then when we were done recording just take the iPhone away from our ear and the recording would stop. love ReminderwithVoiceReminders! If you don't have it what are you waiting for!

Works great-got the paid version

ReminderwithVoiceReminders is helping me to keep my sanity! I have cats and people that need daily meds and then one medicine is every third day for one cat and the other cat has his every other day and it goes in the ear and be in alternate ear-so ReminderwithVoiceReminders helps me keep it all straight! So ReminderwithVoiceReminders lets me have a reminder in my own voice or choose from a list of sounds/music as well as text label. Has a snooze feature that’s useful too! ReminderwithVoiceReminders is very reliable, too. Another feature is your alarms have a history so we can see the reminders after the alarm goes off!! So if you can’t tell, I really love ReminderwithVoiceReminders-thank you! The developer doesn’t collect any data on you-no invasive permisdions, either!

Excellent App!!

This is such a lifesaver and beautifully done! I use it to remind me for meds, daily habits and to track reminders three times a week. It is so user-friendly and customizable that I can do all of that in one app!! I can configure so many different types & frequency of reminders to fit my needs. I have not used an app that can handle such features in one app. I can use my own music and customize my reminder message & even record a reminder if I want. I use it daily & appreciate the attention to detail by the developer. Thanks for such an excellent app!

Alarms stopped making sounds (paid version).

The device I use this reminders app on is the iPhone XS Max. It is up to date on all system updates. I have checked and re-checked notification settings, sound settings on the reminders app, switched off Bluetooth and STILL no sounds coming from the reminders app. The only time sound comes out of ReminderwithVoiceReminders is when I am in “Edit mode” and switching or sampling alarm sounds. It made sounds for the first 2 months after download but not any more. I am caught up on all available reminders app updates. Very disappointed. Silent alarms are useless to me :( I may have to report this issue to ReminderwithVoiceReminders Store if it doesn’t get fixed soon and get my money back.

Favorite App of them All

This is absolutely my favorite app out of all my apps! Offers extreme flexibility and customization for all your reminder needs! I could not live without ReminderwithVoiceReminders! Its a lifesaver! Thank you a million times for creating an app I would have created if it dodgy exist, and thank you for creating it for me so I didn’t have to! The premium version is so worth paying for! Just get it! You won’t be sorry if you’re on the fence!

Great app

I use ReminderwithVoiceReminders to remind me every night to take my birth control. This is the only app I have used, so I don’t know if other apps do this also, but when I go out of town, it will naturally change the time for when Im supposed to take it due to different time zones. Which is great because I always always forget to do that, but ReminderwithVoiceReminders does it for me :) recommend especially if you need to track the time you take pills.

I genuinely like this app!

From my experience, ReminderwithVoiceReminders is better than the regular iPhone remind app. You can choose cute little icons for your reminder, variety of notification ringtone noises, and it will send you a notification of whatever you reminded yourself of the time you set it for. I really like ReminderwithVoiceReminders, I definitely recommend this to everyone who’s looking for a great remind app. For sure, check it out, there’s a lot of cool things you can do with ReminderwithVoiceReminders.

Helps my mind

ReminderwithVoiceReminders keeps me aware of what I have to do when. It is different in that you can set it to remind you every hour in your own voice. The reminder beeps are very unique as well. Most reminders such as icalendar has the same sounds over and over. I get used to the reminder tones and forget to check them.
The fact that I am reminding myself to “Drink your water” every hour is great. Although it creeps my family out to hear my voice on the phone.
But I like it, and that is what counts. It helps my mind remember big and small things!
The upgrade is worth the .99 cents!!!!!!

This is terrific

I’ve been looking Voice reminder to use for myself because I ignore generic alert sounds and this worked GREAT!! I had to remember to take zicam every three hours for 2 days, ReminderwithVoiceReminders was perfect!! I recorded “take your zicam” voice reminder, set it to repeat every three hours and then set end date!
I work in school with students that have print, vision and/or attention support and I think this going to be a game changer!!
