When it works it's fine, but most of the time it doesn't. Sure the banner appears on the screen saying it happened x minutes ago, along with all the auto-snoozes I didn't get because it made no sound.
These are marked critical, yet no sound.
I have to remember to check my phone to see what I'm supposed to be doing...if I could remember that I wouldn't need a reminder.
What irks me is that in the "trial" where I got a couple of alarms it seemed to work fine consistently, so I bought it, because I need reminders all day; everything from taking meds to picking up kids from school... With my busy schedule I can't have "notifications" that only work sometimes. But nothing I can do about it now.

I was looking for an app to help my teenager get out the door on time for school (something he can set for himself - without Mom doing the prodding). I thought if he had verbal reminders he could continue getting ready without looking at the screen until a task is complete. “It’s 6:25am...you should finish breakfast and brush your teeth.” “It’s 6:50. The bus comes in 10 minutes.” So far the app only seems to work when it’s open. Also, it would be beneficial to repeat the reminder every 20-30 seconds until it is checked off. 1-2 minutes is too long. I like that you can record your own personalized reminders and set the time but there are too many unnecessary settings...repeats every 20 minutes etc.

I found this app and decided to try the ” Lite” version. I really like it. Accepted an update last night and in trying to save a newly created reminder, found that the prompt to upgrade to the paid version( when trying to save my new reminder) is not a prompt but a required purchase of the unlimited version in order to save my new reminder. $1.99 isn’t unreasonable however I don’t like the bait and switch tactics. I know I didn’t miss a free trial disclaimer because I had just installed the app yesterday on my brother’s phone. If the Lite is really a 30 day free trial then just call it that. I also Do Not like the app logo change to the same red V-like checkmark in the My Verizon app. The alarm clock was so easily recognizable. So rating an average of 3: 5 for functionality, flexibility and ease of use. 0 (zero) for no transparency of terms of use in the app description.
