Would rate 0 stars if possible since I don’t think this company even has and email service. I signed up for an email address and then instantly said I was locked out of my account and that I need to reply to the message regarding access, then the next day they emailed me and I got this message word for word “We have forwarded your request to unblock your account to our security department and it was determined that the account in question will remain blocked.
Please note that this is a decision made by our abuse department and we do not have further information we can provide to you.”

I didn’t even USE my email account at all because it was instantly blocked?!? What a joke. I’d stay far away from this company seeing as to they can lock you out of your own email forever at anytime and without reason and directly to your face tell you that you can’t ever use your email again. Pure insanity.

I’ve had mailcom for 3 years now and here are a few things that I wish would be updated:
1-replying from my ‘sent folder’ sends an email back to myself. When I’ve sent a customer an email and then remember one more thing I need to include in the message I’ll go into my sent file and hit reply. Most all other mail apps know that I don’t want to reply to myself but reply to the person I’m having a conversation with. With mailcom I type up a whole message and it sends it to myself and I have to do it again.
2- if I create an email and put it in my drafts, when I go back in to finish and send the email it always says “invalid email address” and I have to copy the whole message into another email and resend.
3- Can’t “search all” for a key word. When I put emails into folders and then need to do a search, I can only choose inbox, sent, or trash, etc. I’d like to search a key word in all of my folders at once.

Why do I even have mailcom? It seems with every update, it gets worse. And YES, reopening mailcom and rebooting my iPhone DOES NOTHING TO HELP. When I open mailcom , it loads less and less emails, each time I open it is less, until all I’m left with are the emails that immediately arrive in real time. Then, if I close it and come back, those are gone, too. I try the “search in server” option and it just goes round and round, but never does anything, not even retrieving the emails that I KNOW are there! It’s sad to say that I get more done by accessing my account through my internet browser than through mailcom that this account was specifically made for. So, why do I still have mailcom? Really good question, I’m wondering this myself 🤬 Perhaps I’m just holding out hope like a derp that the next update will clear these issues up. Not sure I will even stick around that long.

Been using mailcom for years with very few problems. For the last few months, mailcom clears all the emails from its database, including unread mail. So mailcom tells you there are unread notes in your inbox, but when you open your inbox, it is empty. It will keep any notes that come in after it clears the database, but they eventually get wiped out the next time the bug hits. There’s no function I can find to force repopulation of the folder in the mobile database, so the only way to see your notes is via the web browser. Fortunately mailcom doesn’t wipe out the mail in the actual server. It only got 2 stars because of how long it worked well. The current version is only worth 1 star - since the problem has been reported multiple times with no response or fix. It’s no good for anything if you have to use the web browser to see all your mail.

I’d give it 1.5 stars if I could. The whole help section about the storage cloud provides no relevant information. It’s just basically throwing few things out there, telling you to download Firefox and good luck figure it out on your own. Well, why Firefox? I hate that thing. What’s wrong with other browsers? Do the still work? What’s the storage limit? I mean, come on!!!! Whoever is doing your app promotion needs to be looked at for the simple reason that his English is not professional and business like. The support section is a big bs. The only good thing is the variety of the domains. But as soon as. I opened one account that was it for me. I couldn’t open any more and support simply ignored me. Shame.

I have used mailcom since 2010, so I have seen it evolve over the past decade. mailcom has always been good, but I often wonder why it isn’t better. The main issue I have is with the folder sorting. When you create a new folder on the desktop version, the folder is automatically sorted alphabetically. New folders are added to the bottom of the tree and must be manually sorted in mailcom . My second issue is the lack of a select all in the search function. It’s great I can search for messages, but I have to modify each individually. It would be great to have a select all for moving or deleting messages.

Had it on another phone too. Recently mailcom had gotten super slow on that device, taking 10 or even 15 minutes to download one email. But i got a new one, and even on a brand new phone, the mailbox doesn’t try to refresh anymore. Endless wheel of waiting.

When it did work, it was ok. Ive used this company for a while because it’s a free account. Not as streamlined as other mail apps but with a little getting used to it did show your mail. The delete function worked sometimes but often required two or three tries. There are some recent redesigns that may have slowed mailcom and hopefully it’s fixed soon, but for now mailcom doesn’t actually do anything.

I really like this mail service because it’s not like gmail where they make it sooooo overly secure that you have problems signing into your own freakin account! Not only that but google must track what device you sign in with and virtually assigns that device to your account so you can’t sign in on another device without recovering the account and taking up so much time out of your life. I never gave google permission to track what device I’m using so they have to go. But this email service the only thing I’m weird about is privacy. There are also adds in your mailbox put their by them. No good! Other wise I would have given five stars if I knew they weren’t tracking us and the ads.

So far it seems fine. I was using mymail and it totally crashed after a couple of months. This one seems to have more settings and options so i am hoping this will last. Only time will tell.
The use face seems ok though and it did integrate nicely onto my ipad and iphone also. That is a plus too.

My main problem is with the font. I find it difficult to read on my phone - I wish there was a choice of bold faced type so it would be easier for me to read.
Otherwise it seems to be a very reliable email app.

Its still a good reliable email for my phone and ipad both. Still the font is really very small and difficult to read.

mailcom is still basically reliable. I do use the free on since I use it for personal emails.
I still wish they could address the font- if only to give a choice of bold.
It could be easier to read if the mail had an option for a black background too.

It is simply an awesome email because you have so many cool options to use to create an email address tailored to your personality or work. But that’s not it, as you have lots of great options, iCloud storage, send larger format pictures and files all on an easy on the eyes layout that has options to play with. For being a playful to serious email it is all that and I would say even better than the rest of the standards email addresses in that It is clean, simple, sophisticated and capable to handle sending or saving what you want . To me, it is a powerful and fun additional email for work or pleasure. The mobile app is just as great. Thank You Developers for an astounding job at making the world great. Randy Chavez

As a small business I wanted to separate my email from personal. Mail was simple to set up and we were able to change the backend email to tailor to our industry which is amazing. I wanted every side of our business to look presentable and I wanted our emails to be easy to get to. Everything looks great and I hope they add more emails and find ways to make their users happy and in top of their game.

I’ve been using “Mail” for a couple of years now, and I’ve not any hiccups yet. mailcom will let you sort your emails any way you want. It gives as many as ten email addresses (aliases)
if you don’t want to divulge your primary address. Furthermore, it has tonnes of cloud space for storing any file of importance to you. Additionally, Mail may be used as a collector of your other email accounts so you can read them in one place.

Aside from enabling you to choose from a multitude of domain names, this little gem works perfectly and has been free and ad-free for at least almost a decade. They only recently started adding little ads that appear as email messages. I’ve been expecting them to do something like this years. They can’t keep providing their wonderful app for free and ad-free forever, without bringing in some money to pay their bills. I’ve been lucky enough to have used their site/app for free for roughly 10 years and they have certainly earned this 5-Star review from me. It’s a cool email app that knows how to be an email app, while still providing useful integrated tools. Good job!

I do love this email. Ads are only for their own service. Spam filters work great. Also I have more than one account with this company and in mailcom I can switch between them easily without signing in and out of each. The only thing I don’t like is that when I came to leave a review they had one already written! I had to delete it to write this. Come on developers, let’s be honest and let people write their own reviews. You have a good product, no deceit please.

I happened upon this email company when I was searching for a free email account that didn’t need phone verification. I could not believe how many different features and cool extras it has. There is a word processor, also so many different aliases you can choose from. It’s really,really awesome! I’ve never had problems getting any of my emails. You can also connect any other email accounts so as to receive everything in one spot.
I love it! Definitely makes things a lot easier and convenient!!!!

I used to love mailcom but for some reason with the new upgrade, there is a lot of advertising beteen your emails and its very annoying because they make it showing like you got a new email but once u go into mailcom its just a add you have to actually click on, so that it goes away and not seem a email which isnt read yet but even than it still shows in the mailbox! Wish i could get rid of this new feature! So annoying and if there is no way to turn it off I feel I need to delete mailcom ;(

mailcom definitely works for getting free email but there are 2 big reasons why it’s not super great......
1: ADS!!!!!! You will open your inbox to find emails that are not your actual emails- they are ads! And you can’t ERASE them!!!!!! Super lame!
2: it does not work (or even open) 3 out of 10 times!!!! And when it’s a emergency (like we are emailing you your new PIN number....) then it’s absolutely horrible!!!!!!!
Other then that, the format is easy enough to use and it’s free and that’s always a plus!! If they can fix the 2 issues i would totally suggest mailcom!!!!!!

I found this email app perhaps a year ago. I’ve NEVER had an email account where you literally get no spam! I’m sick to death of the big tech email accounts where daily you get nothing but porn/ phishing/ scams and whatever else these thieves can come up with. I did have an occurrence tho, recently. I sent an email to a new friend with an “@msn” account, and it came back as undeliverable. I need to contact the mail people about that but haven’t had a chance to yet. This is NOT a deal breaker by any means. Just be aware and let them know when there is a legit issue. I’ve never been happier with an email service!

Now mailcom headers end up off the top of the screen every time you scroll to a new email and you have to scroll back up to mark emails as favorites. This renders mailcom useless to me. mailcom is now more of a stumbling block than a convenience. Please fix it ASAP! From what I’ve heard, though, you don’t seem too big on fixing mailcom ’s real problems and are an eternity in responding to customer service messages. This last bit, especially, is going to lose you customers.😡😠👎🏻
UPDATE: Now some of the folders aren’t even showing older messages at all! This is pathetic! I expect better from you people!!! Extremely disappointed! 😠😡👎🏻

This email app and the layout for this particular platform provides the same everyday amenities and quality that other big/familiar companies offer, and make taking care of business or keeping in touch with loved onessuper easy and simplistic while maintaining a high level of quality and effectiveness. Plus, having so many options to choose from when creating an email account makes the switch or addition of an email address super fun ☺️ Definitely a very happy downloader on this end 👍🏼

Used to like very much. Been using since it first became available. BUT if you have a problem you had best be able to fix it yourself or upgrade your mailbox. The only help you get is the automated response which , it turns out, loops you into doing same thing repeatedly but never corrects problem nor can you get a human for assistance. This is the second time for me. The first was way back when I wanted to change/update my contact email address as the old one was put to rest by its company. Couldn’t do it then and now they upgraded their system and again there a problem. So will most likely just delete and use yahoo or gmail

Update: Latest update went even further downhill. I have moved almost all of my email to another account but a few stragglers remain. I cannot open any of the emails now. You click on them and no content ever shows. Also I had a email receipt program set up on this account, never received the emails. The company said they were going out. Changed to another email account and now they show up so it was this account not allowing receipt emails through.

Has trouble loading email content. Newest release shows opened email as still unopened even if you open it several times. Locked into their program so your stuck with the bad.

Ever since your last upgrade, your app is very slow and it doesn’t load a lot of emails. It was fine until the last update. I end up going to the website to do my emails. But using the website takes longer as a rule and I don’t have the time for that.

I also get really tired of mailcom closing down and I have to reload my email address all over again. Or having to redesign my folders in the order I had them because the site closed down and when I reopened it all was changed.

I use your site as I like the emails offered but mailcom really is unstable and ALWAYS acting up and it really needs a overhaul!!

When it works it’s nice but there are a few issues. Messages written to previously mailed addresses sometimes views the address as incorrect and will not recognize the address. Additionally, file size limitations can make it difficult to send things that aren’t very large and lately, there’s been a glitch where messages moved to different folders don’t move there or the wrong message gets moved. Also, the single-message swipe left options are too close to delete, which makes it easy to delete items.

mailcom has so many little idiosyncrasies that chew up time and are just a pain. You have to login a hundred times a day because they log you off in a heartbeat. They don’t give you options to extend the time because they are “concerned about your security” And yet the mobile version never logs off! Everything takes extra keystrokes. Cut and paste is archaic and working with pictures in emails is a pain.

If you are tired of gmail, yahoo, outlook, and aol, I strongly urge you to try this mail app. It has been a marvelous addition to my vast array of email addresses. The easiest, most user friendly, and entirely customizable (easily), app that I have seen in a long time. I recommended it to my mother, she is 80, and now I get regular emails from her. It is easy to use and agents a five star rating from me (and probably my mother too!)!!!! Thank you.

My email was so hacked I needed to change emails and primary email so went looking for a simple, uncomplicated solution. Found mail com and am extremely pleased with the service. Intuitive, easy to use and I’m still only on the free version but soon to pay the small fee to eliminate the ads.

Definitely worth considering or at least giving it a trial.
