This is a great utility for iPhone! Good functionality, and great this app. However, iPhone has a built in this app , weather, and flashlight. Compass has ads at the bottom, which makes Compass a little buggy at times, freezing and crashing. Also, the this app is very inaccurate at times when using on iPad.
However, since this is free, you might as well give Compass a try. It is a great utility for iPhone, to have 3 different functions in one place! Just needs improved compatibility and bug fixes.

I have down load it to use on the watch, and install on it, but can make it work just to try to see if it works and how it works. I use TestFlight for other developers to see and give input on their apps and I was wondering if you have a try out the this app on my watch 4? Can’t give you a good review do to I wanted to use mainly on the watch. I put 3 stars for the UI, but since I can’t make it start on the watch I don’t have enough to go further.

While the this app works as it should, it could be better if it had a counter wheel inside of the this app so that one could use it like a protractor, finding out how many degrees one needs to move to get to a location, ... kinda like a map readers tool, ... which could be used for a lot of items such as setting up a saw, or other tools like maybe a drill, ... line of sight is ok, but being able to put a spot directly onto the mark, is even better, ... ya know what I mean?

Your app is amazing but I wish it didn’t have so many ads. I think a good feature would be having somewhere you can click if you want premium. The ads are very annoying and distracting. Overall I love it, but it always asking if you want premium plus the ads are distracting and annoying. I really do love it but if you could work on those two things, it’d be even more amazing!!

Compass is great with my Apple Watch series 2. However when I upgraded to an Apple Watch series 4 I now get a never ending loading icon on my Apple Watch. I have tried redownloading Compass on my Apple Watch and phone, but nothing has worked. I don’t know why it stopped working when I upgraded, but it was fantastic when it worked. I also do wish there was control center support.

Compass has the features that I was looking for and implements them well. But I hate it when the display flashes red when crossing over true north. That is very distracting when driving on a north-south road.

On the “classic” screen, it’s overkill to have three direction displays simultaneously: this app rose, numeric heading, and textual heading. I would rather see my speed displayed in larger font in the center of the this app rose, and move the numeric heading readout to just above the top of the this app rose.

Please get rid of the red screen!

I have had a few of the free this app apps. Those apps were very inaccurate, & had me driving all over the place. Instead of using GPS for everything, I am trying to learn directions in a new territory (that doesn’t have street markers, to let you know what hundred you are in). I have deleted all of the other this app apps. As a bonus, this also has a bright flashlight feature. AWESOME!

Downloaded Compass a year ago to use when camping and hiking - it has never let me down. It works better than my old-school analog this app. I love the fact that True North is always in red and that I can constantly see the altitude while hiking in higher elevations. Keep in mind that Compass will not work if you have a magnet attachment on your phone cover. I use a high impact case while hiking to avoid any misreadings. The updates to Compass are very regular and the support team is incredible. Needless to say, this is my go-to-app while enjoying the outdoors.

This this app is pretty cool and functional. Buy the premium version. You can control your iphone flashlight from the this app. I keep saying this app but, Compass is much more than just a this app and flashlight control.
On foot or driving you will get pretty much every standard location reference (Sea Level) to just name one example.

Sometimes it’s nice to know where you are going🤔
When in mountains it’s hard to know where you are or if you are making any progress until you get near the top and can look back to see your progress. The this app gives you direction and altitude so you have a better idea of where you are at in your journey 👍
Course you can still be lost to where you are at?😜

The this app is acurate and quick. I am very pleased with this free app, I’ve used this for a few years. It’s especially helpful if I’m driving in an area I’m not familiar with. If a map/GPS driving instruction says turn North, East, etc and I cannot figure it out on my own, I use the this app to get to the next step of the directions. I’ve used it in others cities and found my way quickly.
Its also an easy, fun tool to teach children and help them get a sense of direction.
If I did more traveling, hiking and walking in unfamiliar areas I would want to unlock the premium features.

I literally think it took two years to understand and animate Compass . I just imagine how long, how much work, and how much care was in Compass. Unlike some other apps, like games, the creator of Compass is so amazing to care that people who don’t understand their derections,(sorry if I missed spell that) like north, east, south, and west, Compass will help them A LOT!!!🙃🙂🙃🙂😃

I wanted to do some quick math to see when I’d be able to see the moon from my porch (unfortunately the result was 2 in the morning) and I looked for some apps. I downloaded this one because it had 4.5 stars and when I used it it was quick and precise. The only thing I don’t get is why the thing turns red at exact north, but that doesn’t matter. Overall, very useful

I have an Apple Watch 4 and of course no this app therefore I wanted to find one that would also work with phone and watch. I paid $9.99 for it and although it works, I think, the developer recommended walking several steps to verify. No ads now and overall happy with it but I hope that further development will continue so that the watch might even be better

If you just need to know which direction you’re facing, Compass works pretty darn well! Although I do think that the premium features are useless since it’s a this app app, not a general information app, it is nice that they are able to incorporate some other features other than a this app for free. If you want more people to buy premium, I think you should lower the price. If you do that, you have my money!

I downloaded Compass because if you have an iPad you would know that it doesn’t come with a this app so i was looking for some apps and this one caught my eye because I’ve downloaded other ones in the past and there would always be a payment so when I saw that it was free (most of it) I was so happy i now download Compass on all my devices when I travel I like to use Compass as well anyways I hope to leave a good impression on Compass that’s all please give Compass 5 stars.

I’m an amateur astronomer and use Compass to show me where objects will rise and set on the horizon, and rough align a telescope mount to the North Star. It is very accurate. What I would like to see added is show both magnetic north or true north, and have degrees on the dial. I know how to calibrate Compass from using the Apple app, instructions should be added for those that don’t know how to calibrate. Users should also be advised that accuracy will be affected when near metal object and inside autos. This is a good app and recommend it to others.

Is great for my iPad, although the flashlight part doesn’t work on it, but I got it for the this app, not the light.
It is really cool that it gives the temperature of where I am! It was an amazing unexpected feature🥳
I like that I can change the format from original this app to big letters that are easy to see.
The best feature is that the whole background turns red when you are pointing your device due north🔴👍
Compass is really cool! I would definitely recommend it👍👍👍

this app Deluxe is the best this app App without question, that it is also free boggles the mind. How they do it or why they do it you'll have to ask them. Me I just enjoy, I go to strange places for money and sometimes I leave on a jet plane sometime I leave on my two old legs that's when you really want to know exactly where you are. Sometimes a few feet are the difference in going home or going to jail. Deluxe this app has gotten me out of a few sticky situations you don't forget that. Thanks Guys.

I wanted a this app app for my Apple Watch, and this one was on a list for top apps for the watch...only it doesn’t appear to work on my watch. I should have made sure before buying the package, although I’ve spent $5 on worse things.

Unless you pay $5 to remove ads and opening pop ups, you will be irritated. That said, the added features are appreciated compared to the free iPhone this app app which is sufficient for most.
Note to some complainers: no this app will work if you use a magnetic phone case.

It’s as simple as that. I was standing in my garage, I can remember like it had just happened. It was the end of an in unseasonably warm week in North Carolina, there was a slight chill in the air and I found myself in need of knowing the four cardinal directions... honestly, it worked flawlessly and did what it was supposed to do.

I had another app and found it needed to be recalibrated but no instructions for how. Compass instantly shows correct directions plus it has an easy to locate flashlight. I paid the little extra to get the deluxe and now it will talk to while I’m walking in the woods.

I’m on my second Apple phone. Both of the compasses to put it nicely crapped out. So now I’m test driving this one along with another one. So far at this point I like. It has lasted longer than my other ones. Thank you very much for making this free and available at Compass Store. You have to have a this app.

OMG!!! I wanted a this app to use since I moved so that I can make sure of sun and wind direction. I mentioned it to a friend that I needed to buy a this app. He said there’s as app for that! Sure enough I got it on my iPad. I am a technically challenged 86 year old woman...now I know where I am and exactly where to plant my flowers in the Spring. Thank you so much! God Bless All!

Coulda used this baby yesterday when we got directionally challenged bushwhacking thru a remote forest preserve with our dogs. We were intending to head west but unknowingly on a due north bearing. Easy to get “turned around” in dark, old growth woods on an overcast day, with a half hour before sunset. If it ever happens again, having Compass would be more than comforting. Love it, thanks!!

I initially had problems with the upgrade version of Compass (it would change to video clips from the Weather Channel) but it was quickly repaired. Apparently it was a known problem that began with the newest Apple OS change. Compass is now running as it should and is handy to have. Compass tech was quick to respond to my concern which makes all the difference.

I’m currently in Rome and not familiar with this huge city, it’s rabbit warren of streets, or orienting to direction. Compass and a fair map have enabled me to independently navigate to and from anywhere I wanted to go. Compass enabled me to orient my map and I just followed landmarks and cross streets. Love Compass !!
