I’m disappointed b/c I’d love to be able to add inventory to my website from here but cannot. Also, I find it’s somewhat annoying that you all have 3 different apps. I had the Squarespace app but to add inventory wasn’t an option nor was adjusting any inventory or doing promo codes. I had to download the Squarespace Commerce app. Only to find out adding inventory is still not an option.

It’d be beyond convenient to be able to run my website from 1 Squarespace App as opposed to having to jump back + forth between them.

Squarespace I love you + your platform + your website build out has gotten a ton more useful over the years but what gives in SquarespaceCommerce dept? These apps have so much potential!! In today’s day + age it’s not always conventional to be at your computer. I’d like to believe you all have developers working on this. Please let us know when these options become available.

SquarespaceCommerce won’t let you edit the name of a product. I typo’d on the name of a product and just want to fix it and apparently I have to track down a desktop computer to do so. Tried to use the squarespace website design app to make changes and it redirects me to the commerce app. Tried to use the web browser on my phone and it redirects me to SquarespaceCommerce . Tried to use the commerce app to just add another variant thinking if I add a new one I will have the ability to enter the name of the product but you can’t add variants through SquarespaceCommerce unless I’m missing something. It’s a small issue that is causing me a lot of frustration because other aspects of SquarespaceCommerce function well. But the whole point of SquarespaceCommerce is for ease of use on mobile devises so the requirement of using a computer for SOME things and SquarespaceCommerce for others makes using SquarespaceCommerce annoying—you can’t actually rely on SquarespaceCommerce so what’s the point of having it?

Pros: conveniency, can track orders on the go, can edit merchandise inventory, thankful for the update that allows to add pics and item description for merchandise, schedule merchandise availability

What I will like to see is the ability to add/change pricing and be able to organize product placement. For example: category necklace: being able to change the order of each product so it’s displayed in order I see fit on website (hope this is explained well lol!)

Other than that it’s a MUST have app if you are operating a product business with squarespace

You completely left out the ability to access anything to do with Page Setting for the online store. I need to edit my “categories” for my items in my online store and there’s nothing in the Commerce app that will allow me to do so.

I had no idea that it would be so difficult or nearly impossible to edit or delete categories. For some unknown reason whenever I try open Page Settings from my Mac, iPhone or IPad from my Squarespace website page...the dialog boxes that come up are blank. I can see “General”, “SEO”, “Advanced”, etc on the left side of the dialog box....but the right side dialogue box is blank so I can’t even see/change anything.

Please help!!!

SquarespaceCommerce is amazing when you just want to manage everything. But anything outside of that is where the "but" comes in. I'd love to be able to update product photos of my inventory from SquarespaceCommerce and add inventory when needed as well. Versus having to do it from a computer and logging in through the dashboard. Sometimes I'm on the go and don't have time to sit down and do all that.

Please update SquarespaceCommerce because it has so much potential and I'd hate to leave after so many years in being a customer because of minor things as this.

I downloaded the New Squarespace app so I can manage the THREE websites I have with Squarespace. I wanted to add a product and got a message to use SquarespaceCommerce for Commerce, so I downloaded it, too. Then, lol and behold, I get a message that I have to use a PC/laptop to do that.

So, couldn’t you just have let me know that before I downloaded all the apps? That’s pretty lame in my book. And I want to be able to add products from an iPad. Requiring a customer to have a certain hardware and platform to perform basic functions in SquarespaceCommerce is not acceptable, particularly with the amount of money that I spend with Squarespace.

If you need someone to do beta testing in this feature, please let me know. I would be happy to help.

I’ve been really frustrated with SquarespaceCommerce. If I want to add new inventory there’s no way to do so in SquarespaceCommerce . If I go to my squarespace app it directs you back to the commerce app to edit inventory. I don’t want to have to rely on a desktop to add inventory when most of the time I’m using my phone or tablet.

I’ve tried using the desktop website on my phone and that’s a mess too.

Please update this feature!

SquarespaceCommerce is fine, but it could easily be made amazing. As a small business owner who does ceramics I will often just have my iPad open for shipping day rather than risking the health of my laptop and SquarespaceCommerce is only compatible with phones so it’s blurry on the big screen. It would also be amazing if I could add products on my phone! Just snap a pic fill out the price and post to my site. Please, please, please, if you say your for small business owners then put a little work into SquarespaceCommerce. I have had it for 3 years now and it has barely changed.

I just want to start off by saying its a very useful tool to use while managing sales from my website.
One thing that it’s missing though is the option to add a tracking number when you mark orders as fulfilled. On the website it opens up a window where you can add tracking and the carrier. On SquarespaceCommerce it simply marks the item as fulfilled, and emails the customer without allowing you to add their tracking number.

This product allows easy access to my existing inventory and allows me to process orders it lacks things that would make a simple but huge difference. Simply being able to update my website calendar or being able to see the prices for the individual variants on a listing would be helpful. A way to process cards and track inventory for the occasional in person sales would be above and beyond and make my life so much simpler.

For as sleek as Squarespace's branding is, you would think their app would be just as modern. Unfortunately SquarespaceCommerce is just to manage existing inventory. Don't get me wrong, that feature is great! But, it should just be one of the features, not the existence of the ENTIRE APP. That's basically ALL you can do. It'd be soooo much better and so much more helpful if we were able to add new inventory with a click of a button for those who can't always get to a computer straight away. I'm hoping SquarespaceCommerce will come out with new features like other ecommerce applications.

I love the simplicity of SquarespaceCommerce but without push notifications I have to constantly check SquarespaceCommerce to see if an order was placed or not. When I go into my settings on my iPhone, the Squarespace Commerce App is not listed under notifications but instead in the bottom list of apps that doesn’t allow me to choose whether to turn on or off push notifications for each app. Online there is no answer to fix this because the instructions say that it is inside the notifications tab, which it is not.

I’ve been a customer with squarespace for over 5 years and while I appreciate their attempts at providing multiple channels for business Development, I simply wish they would be consistent. There is always some type of bug or error not only on their apps but also their website. We all have businesses to run and if we don’t have an effective web hosting platform to do so, it’s bad for business. I also do not like the fact that I can never get in contact with anyone and have to resort to Twitter, Squarespace Forums or by writing a review.

I don’t always have access to my laptop but I do have my iPhone around. Love being able to jump into SquarespaceCommerce and mark orders fulfilled as soon as I ship them as well as create discounts on the go in order to lockdown some time sensitive conversions. Looking forward to the ability of editing my products 🙏

I don't understand why squarespace doesn't allow u to add to update inventory. I really thought switching from wix would be easier but it turns out they were most convenient when it comes to inventory updates. Why is this not possible with square space??? I'm seriously consider switching back to Wix just because of this. I can't always get to a laptop. I use my phone for everything. If I want to do a quick flash sale I can't. It's crazy!
