I like having a free press. Free means "not under the foot of government" not "i don't have to pay you for your work." Yeah, subscribe! Currently $5 a month. The NYT costs me $20 a month, so this is a reasonable price. The app works well, benefited from some tweaks to zoom in preferences. Very readable on my iPad and I have issues with reading. I spent more time reading this than I do the print version, and less recycling! If you are having ads and surveys, make sure you are logged in correctly and that you have subscribed. Lots of negative reviews here by non subscribers, so let's be clear, freedom isn't free and neither is the daily local newspaper. If we don't feed it, it will go away.
