Get Pricing Info for Sinew Software SystemsI ordered Enpass through Appleinsider, promotional for $29.99 lifetime. It's an absolute nightmare and I wish to cancel it immediately. It does not support autofill with MAC Safari Catalina and it's impossible to cancel if purchased through Appleinsider, it just keeps running me in circles. Please acknowledge my cancelation request. Thank you.

I bought a lifetime subscription several years ago for $10. I’ve used this app, loved it, and recommend it to many of my peers. I will no longer do that. You have now switched to a subscription service, which is fine, except now my “lifetime pass” seems to have lasted only a few years. One of the main draws of your app was that it stood out in a sea of subscription services. I can, however, purchase another one for $50. I upgraded to pro years ago and now my app says “pro revoked”. Are you kidding me? How insulting! I understand that you need to make money, but I already paid you and now you are going back on your word. You are stealing from me what I already have paid for and should have access to. I don’t think it’s outrageous to assume that the lifetime upgrade I paid for would last, I don’t know, a lifetime. This new era of demanding a customer pay for a product that they have already bought and own is outrageous. I am extremely disappointed. I will not do any further business with a company that clearly cares so little for their customers. I understand that you need to make money, but I would never treat anyone that I do business with the way you have treated me. Goodbye Enpass, hello LastPass. Not a joke. As we speak, I am making the switch. Good riddance, no customer should ever be betrayed by a company like this.

I really like Enpass for the fact that it allowed me to self host my vault and not require a subscription model. Unfortunately with the recent changes the app I paid for became unusable by only allowing up to 25 passwords to be synced at most! I understand that the developers need to make money but they could have chosen not to invalidate previous purchases by releasing a new version of their iOS app and let user continue to use the app they paid for. That would have created no costs for the company as people have to self-host their vault. I might have updated eventually to the new subscription-based model when it has enough new features (right now there are no novelties compared to the old version I paid for). Instead I was forced to switch and I am not planning to ever return. Who knows what their next policy change will be.
I am using Bitwarden now, which offers a much better macOS app, a web interface, and a good iOS app! On top of that’s its open-source and free if you have a web server.

Enpass is a nice password manager I can use on my iPhone, iPad and computer and keep my passwords synced up. Despite the settings, it automatically relooks itself so you have to enter your password every time … annoying but I can live with that. Unfortunately when it locks up, it loses any information that was being entered. I was creating a web account for my bank. I would enter the info into Enpass and then into the web form. I even used Enpass to generate a secure password. I sat my phone down while I finished the form (less than 30 seconds) but unfortunately that was enough time for the screen to lock and Enpass lose all my info. With no password, I can’t get into the account. Tomorrow I have to go to the bank in person with documents to unlock my account. From now on I will write all info down before trusting Enpass … unfortunately that crushes the security.
