Scandit SDK Showcase Reviews

Several of my colleagues abs I have used ScanditSDKShowcase extensively at my company (pharmaceuticals) for verifying barcodes on artwork. As of today, whatever the last update did is making it malfunction. It is not reading EAN codes in UPC-A barcodes, the leading zeroes are being left off the scanner, on barcodes that we have generated and have scanned successfully in the past. Please fix ScanditSDKShowcase or roll it back to the previous version that worked!

I am a totally blind individual who depends on apps like this to get through my daily life. I just download it and try ScanditSDKShowcase, but I can’t get past the terms and conditions, because the agree button is grayed out and there doesn’t appear to be any way to change its state! Thank you for locking this blind individual out of an app by an accessibility bug!

i'm not sure what they're trying to accomplish with ScanditSDKShowcase as it may be a sales tool for their business product/business subscription, but ScanditSDKShowcase has no ability to save what you've scanned or to export it out.

I would be willing to pay 10 or $20 for ScanditSDKShowcase if it had those features. after you scan various barcodes, it shows you their value but once you click on, it's gone there is no history no looking back on what you scanned

No ads, super fast, supports many different barcode formats. What more can one ask for? Well it would be nice if it didn’t secretly send all your scans over the internet for “analytics”. Seriously, read the privacy policy and don’t use ScanditSDKShowcase for confidential barcodes!

I really enjoyed using your app up until your most recent update where you changed the “one of many” functionality, it’s not better in any sense of the word. Please let us have an option amongst all your other scan options.

PS I work for a school system in the technology department and I used ScanditSDKShowcase almost everyday and even recommended to others in the department. It was that good. ScanditSDKShowcase works great when it has the tools I want at the ready.

With the less ratings , something called to ScanditSDKShowcase . I activate phones on my phone at events and It slows me down punching one number at a time , and why a barcode scanner gun? ScanditSDKShowcase is so productive it has gotten me more customer and higher sales with phone activations . I let it scan all the barcodes and copy and paste and so smooth . I hope this company just keeps improving because they just know what people need . I tried the best one and it does not read it . This one Scandit is my money maker . Thanks Scandit . I approve ScanditSDKShowcase I’m from California . So this ain’t not paid review either .

This was exactly what I was looking for. Needed a barcode scanner that would scan any 1D or 2D technology, give me symbology info along with content. Did not want anything built around shopping or product comparison. This is a perfect, true barcode scanner. Thanks!

I was trying to add my gym membership barcode into my Garman account so I could display it on my watch but I need to know what kind of a barcode I had in ScanditSDKShowcase identified the barcode and gave me the information absolutely amazing

ScanditSDKShowcase does what it says well, but it could use a scan from gallery option. However, I will keep my 5-star review as this appears to be a demo for an SDK which is sold to companies, and doesn’t need to be that beefed up.
No ads too.

Recently I’ve not been able to « Run verification checks » it’s saying my phone is not connected to internet.. which it is. Kindly look into that issue. Thank you.

ScanditSDKShowcase can scan pretty much any sort of machine readable codes you may run into. It even scans passports and passport biometric data. No ads or data tracking. Simply amazing. Now you can see what sort of information about yourself is stored in various codes on government paperwork :).

I know that this is a tech demo to sell a barcode scanning SDK. But even so this is a useful tool.

It scans every barcode you can imagine. No popups, no ads, nothing but pure scanning joy.

Give it a try. Maybe you're in the market for a barcode scanner and you'll license their SDK, but even if not, you'll be pleased.

If you are a geek, just looking for an app that can scan any symbology you can think of, without all the ads/shopping oriented BS, this is ScanditSDKShowcase for you. Although ScanditSDKShowcase feels more like a demo for Scandit’s mobile API capabilities, that no-frills, “look our app can scan anything” approach is what makes this so great.

Of all the issues I have with ScanditSDKShowcase , they are nit-picking at best:
-ScanditSDKShowcase doesn’t take advantage of any dual cam iPhones with the telephoto zoom
-Something about the fonts make copying and pasting to apps that support formatting (like Notes, or any document editor), act a little weird.

Love it! Only thing I wished was different…. I would love to see an option for “start up” mode. I would like to set a default type of scan to scan when I open ScanditSDKShowcase without clicking the type each and every time.

Just a wish! Otherwise app is GREAT!

no ads or any other in-app purchase nonsense. just a quality app that does what it’s meant to (for free, no less). helps a ton with my everyday work and is essentially perfect.

(I only ever use the 1D industrial scan mode, so it would be nice to have a setting that automatically chooses that on startup, but it’s just one tap away regardless.)

The software in ScanditSDKShowcase is better than the iphones built in for picking up qr codes. Not only is it faster but it picks up codes my stock camera app cant pick up at all. ScanditSDKShowcase has saved me both in work use and for recreation. Thanks so much wish there was a paid version so i could contribute!

I have a small hardware barcode scanner that previously put all other iOS scanner apps to shame from a speed and compatibility perspective.

ScanditSDKShowcase completely blew me away. I have never seen something scan this fast. Using my iPhone X, it scans so fast I can’t describe it any other way but “aggressive”.

I had a series of barcodes out on my desk to use as a test. I launched ScanditSDKShowcase and tapped the scan and before I could focus my eyes ScanditSDKShowcase picked up the barcode that was quite far from the camera and scanned it. It was so fast it was startling.

It then presented the “Continue Scanning” button, I pressed it and accidentally still had it pointed in the general direction of my desk and bam, it did it again.

It’s like a machine gun on continuous scan. Awesome!

ScanditSDKShowcase was able to read barcodes on equipment and other items. Most of these types of apps are meant for scanning retail items and that was not the type of barcode I needed to scan. This was able to help me scan the other types of barcodes that I wanted to and it even told me the barcode format after scanning it. Very helpful and I was not constantly harassed with ads or pop ups to buy additional functionality. A+

This thing scans fantastically well, even on my horrible old iPhone 6 that is on its last legs. It can pick up barcodes even at the most challenging angles - it’s so sensitive I had to make a little cardboard mask to ensure it wasn’t picking up adjacent barcodes.

The only challenge is that this seems to really be a trial version so you can see how well it works. If yo want to integrate into a proper system I expect you’d have to subscribe to something. I ended up using a trial of their keyboard wedge to import barcodes into an email which I then was able to use.

I like that you can aim to scan and also scan to a list. Can you make the list export to text or copy all serials at once? Thank you for your app its great
