OK guys I have to admit that I do you like the new drops in the game I see that it's more fair as far as the money exchange goes I would like to see some new content and of course heroes way two needs to come out but for the most part the game is very nice to play I do have a question I purchased all the different classes and after the update it's required me to purchase them again how do you restore purchases thank you for your time

Pls add new stuff!!! I’d actually really spend money on this game if it gets better!

This is one of the first games I ever got on my iPod 4th gen all those years ago and it is still fun to this day. It is classic that is still very challenging but fun and is still fantastic after all these years

A very in depth game that will keep you occupied. Levels are short enough to play on the go. Lack of a good story is a downer though.
For those of you who believe the game is ramping the difficulty to extort your money, you're completely wrong. There is a very simple strategy to completing levels and gaining gold. Levels you have already completed will have monsters that drop less gold and exp, while the level you are currently on will contain monsters that drop significantly more gold. To farm, simply enter the latest level, and when you are about to complete it, leave the level.
Treasure chests are not worth opening until the midstage of the game, so don't bother with them in the beginning.
The last, and the most important, point is battle micro. There is more to the game than just watching your guys fight. The most important character to micro is the warrior. Right after the warrior completes his slashing animation, pick him up 1 millimeter off the ground. When he lands a split second later, he will begin his slashing animation again. Using this method you can slash about twice in one second. By using these strategies the game is not difficult at all. Right now I'm sitting on 500k gold and am eagerly awaiting updates. 5 stars.

build your own character/team customize ur armor n weapons and have fun even w/o an Internet connection! Great for road trips when u don't always have reception. I spend a lot (and i mean ALOT) of time on video games from the regular NES to the PS3, and this game competes with any out there! Has the strategy for those that don't like to beat a game in an hour... And the interaction for those that don't like hitting the same button over and over and over again.... This game has it all and you don't have to spend money on it either. I'd recommend this game for everyone, Wether you play all the time.... Or just when you have nothing else to do!

Not a bad idea. Great graphics. Controls are lacking (you can drag and drop but they can't attack while doing that). The Mage does nothing. She sits there and takes damage. Her magic does nothing. The degree of difficulty shoots up real quick. I got the the final stage of the second world and had to pull a south park warcraft. I mined for gold (which is how you can revive a fallen warrior) in nthe arly level just so I could get through. Then the cost to revive my characters which was at a nice even 100, suddenly shot up to 200+. I assume it's cause my characters leveled up however they still couldn't defeat the bad guys without getting overrun. Keep in mind that gold is the micro transaction in this game, so it's not a surprise that, like the quarter munchers before it, they would want you to die as much as possible. There is a lot of stuff to find which makes the replay ability nice. Overall 3 stars.

Pretty good game. In-app gold purchasing is NOT required, but you will need some (ie: much) patience to grind out the levels. Which is actually not so bad, as you can blast through previous levels without much management, making this game the perfect "study game" (as in let the heroes go through the level while you read or work on something else, haha).

I wish they would explain a little about the stats. You get to choose between strength, intelligence, and agility for each hero when you level up, but no where is it mentioned what each stat does, so I have no idea if agi or int do anything for the warrior, etc.

The variety of gems seems really boring, but I'm going into the fourth act now and they seem to be getting a little better. Still could use some improvements, though.

Great game. Put in 25 hours and beat everything, including the bonus content that unlocks after you beat final boss. Never spent a single dime on IAP. The difficulty ramps up quickly, but each time i beat a boss i would spend maybe an hour farming the next to last level of the area i just cleared for gems and upgrades. Eventually you get to the point nothing is an upgrade and you can sell everything for massive gold.

Only thing i never figured out is where to get a Lv10 Warrior Gem.

The final challenge level is REALLY hard, even with maxed out characters. I think my guys were level 47 when i won

Level difficulty does not seem to progress consistently: one level will be suddenly much more difficult the the previous. There is a ridiculous amount of grinding one must do to come anywhere close to being able to attempt the next level once you reach the end of the 2nd world. Monster attacks become significantly stronger and your armor is quite weak in comparison. In order to earn money, one must once again grind away. Lastly, in order to open the treasure chests that you win from defeating enemies, you have to use up coins--seriously?? These are spoils; you shouldn't have to diminish your supplies in order to gain treasure. That's what the weapon stores are for. Otherwise, the game itself is decent for passing some time, but I definitely would not recommend until the gameplay gains equilibrium.

Hey, i dont understand how you guys say that this game is unbalanced? I just finished the whole game without purchasing any coin ! It's a GREAT game and the gameplay is very interesting. I cant believe that a game like this one is FREE, better than many paid games.

For any one who is stucking in the game : have some stragedies and be patient. My life changes when i get the lighting staff for the witch from the treasure chest (chapter 2) , its best weapon in this game and i used it until the end. With it, your witch can finish almost stage by her own. And remember to open all the chests, u can have many many items (with a cheap price) and gems.

It's pretty interesting. Can't wait until a few more pc types are available. And I think the increasing difficulty is good: when you can drag your characters out of harm's way, honestly, how badly can you be beaten? Second time rating this; is it going to keep asking me to rate it? Fifth time doing a review, when will it stop?
Mercenary is good, can't wait until one can unlock the locked characters. Found you could buy pandora's box well enough if you clicked on it a couple of times.

A great game for those with time to eat. The graphics and sound are astonishing and rather pleasant to the eyes and ears, yet the story and gameplay are dull. The auto-attack leaves little room for interaction beyond throwing your party about, and the "power attacks" become common-place without control on when they are activated. Equipment is plentiful and attractive yet basic, nothing special but still nice to collect and admire for the one stage it's effective. Characters are passive with little interaction. Expect a nice game of, "go to battle and let your game play itself". Not much player individualization and a inadequate common story with little, if any, twist.

All-in-all: good for the slow days where ya wanna see something pretty-looking.

Majorly fun and challenging... The most amount of strategy needed in the first 5 chapters is the boss at the end of the second chapter, after that, it's pretty easy to figure out how to defeat them... The only boss harder than end boss of chapter 2 is the end boss of this game... So far, I am waiting for an update or something that would allow me to further playing this game. Way to go, lakoo, congratz on making the best game for the iphone so far as of september 2011 and please add more content, this one was definitely way too short of a game. ( only drawback )

This is a great game! I love the cartoons,the thought,the fighting! It's a great app! I kinda like just got it.. But so far it's AWESOME! it's very addicting! I'm telling you! If you get it,you won't regret it! I love this game! If you don't have HerosWayClassicACT you are missing out on alot! This is a great game to play with my friends or just with myself! I don't really play these kind of games but it's soooo good i just can't take my eyes of the screen! Some people may not like it but I love it! I suggest you should get it! It's a great,fun,cool, and entertaining game!

I  THIS GAME!!!!

This game is pretty straight forward and quite easy to understand. Many people complain about the level of difficulty and the lack of resources, but they're wrong and mainly impatient. The game requires a bit of grinding in order to proceed with ease. The people whining are those who didn't bother to spend a few extra minutes to redo old stages to gain levels and collect better equips. With about an hour of grinding per world, you can advance through the game with ease. No IAP required.

I have an iPhone 3GS and it's fully updated however I am having a hard Tim unlocking the cleric and the demon hunter classes it keeps saying to be connected to the network yet I am so if you could fix that it would be fantastic still the most addicting game I have though hands down can't wait to use the mercenary :D keep up the good work a healing class maybe a monk with knuckles or even a ninja :) just throwing out ideas

This is a lot of fun. I've spent countless hours playing this as I've replayed it many times! Although I cannot download the latest update (it is hanging in the download mode) and I can no longer access the game. A message pops up that says "the update cannot be downloaded at this time. Please try again later." but I keep retrying and it's still hanging in limbo. Please help!

Pretty good game. I'd tune down the gold grinding a bit and some of the bosses are impossible without manipulating the environment and using one specific character. It has a lot of potential especially if you could create a variation of the classes to make the warrior block more or the Mage focus on AoE without having to grind for the items that allow you those abilities (in the case of the Mage).
Also, asks me to contact iTunes to purchase the new characters. Thats more trouble than the game is worth. Fix that and you'll get my additional $2.

As much as I enjoy this game, the micro transactions kill the overall experience. You need golden coins for everything in this game... I understand that you use gold coins to purchase new gear and weapons, but to open up chest and resurrect? "What's the big deal?" you ask. The big deal is gold coins cost actual money! Either that or grind for 5-6 hours trying to farm for coins. Too bad really, this is an awesome game. I would have gladly spent $5-$7 on HerosWayClassicACT otherwise with a more thought out loot system besides dipping into my wallet. On the other hand, if you don't mind that, it's on par with Battlehearts.

This game will lead you eventually to spend money to buy the game gold in order to survive during dungeons to revive, open chest when done and buy new armor or weapons. But the bad thing is the game gets semi difficult when there's lots of mobs and only one or two of the members can do specials and which doest have enough range or chain to it. I only spent 2.99 and still it gets even more difficult, the boss in the 2nd area was insanely hard. How about you enable all classes to have better special range attacks and have less attack relay...
