ACE Elite Prepaid Reviews

Charged a fee to use my card in the store which led to my card being declined on the very first purchase, I had to use my other bank card to cover the transaction, once I left the store and I checked the statement and realized that I had been charged a fee just to use my card which resulted in my transaction being declined. After contacting support and stressing my opinion on how shady that is considering it says no fees they decided to put my money back and then proceeded to lock my account as of today December 16, 2021 the problem has not been solved and my account is still locked. I have decided to eat the money lost and leave this review for the second time this month because they decided to delete it not even a week ago if you don’t like what I have to say then please fix your policy and don’t lie to your customer.

Ive been using this bank since 2014 only cause my mother needed to be able to send me money while she was working. Ive never had an issue up until it comes to customer support. On multiple occasions i would send money to my sister in law on facebook and the money would get taken out of my account. Only for the payment to stay pending for months or get cancled outright. But i never get the money back... ive sent multiple dispute clams only for them to deem nothing went wrong with the payment despite all the screen shots and emails providing clear evidence that my payments were cancled and the money did not return. So yeah nice to know that they really value their customers.(this is sarcasm)

I was able to log in one time and after that it tells me “this is a netspend Account” and to download a whole other app. And I can’t even log into that one. So in other words since I’ve gotten this card I have been locked out of actually being able to log in cause my Elite card isn’t registering with ACEElitePrepaid specifically made for it..

The mobile check cashing feature is a complete joke. I took multiple photos of my check that wouldn’t be accepted because it didn’t meet “quality standards”, just to get to the review stage of the process had to start taking photos of my checks using my phone upside lol even then my checks were never accepted. Just a complete waste of time.

Tried activating my card did not work called customer service was told I was denied called again they said card was fine just needed activated then sent me to the automated phone line wich didn’t work to begin with so I called back went through the same process and got sent back to the automated phone line needless to say customer service is awful there is much better cards out there with better customer service I do not recommend this card at all

I’ve had ACEElitePrepaid only a week and i barely got my official card - though I’m not worried about the timing of when I got the card - what has me bugging is how the Mobile Check Load fails every single time ! I’ve not been able to load my card for some odd reason and somehow ACEElitePrepaid is bugged and is very long overdue for an update to fix this bug

I’ve been using ACEElitePrepaid for over 3 years and and jus stopped working over a month. Forcing me to keep up with my account online. Do unfortunate because I liked ACEElitePrepaid .

Mobile Check Deposit doesn’t work. When I click on the block to take image, there is just a black screen with an outline in it. If I press the button to capture image entire App crashes and kicks me to my homepage.

I have had Ace Elite for many years and everything was fine until a few years ago. I have contemplated switching to another bank but the only thing that was stopping me was that everything worked fine and I have a lot of bills automatically set up to be taken from that account. It’s work to switch all that over but I’m really considering it now because 1. the mobile check load doesn’t seem to work any more and there are no physical locations close to me to go in person so I always have to cash checks through a different bank and can’t deposit them unless I drive to another city. 2. You can’t go into your online account and change important information on your own as if people don’t move. 3. Whenever I do reach out for this company to update my information they are slow to do it and then each and every time they fix one thing then misspell my first name after the update making have to reach out AGAIN for them to correct that. I thought it was protocol for banks to double check spellings and other details before finalizing transactions. Better attention needs to be paid to what they’re doing and ACEElitePrepaid needs to be fixed so that the feature for mobile check load can actually be used. Because of this I think it’s time for me to leave this bank and bank with a more efficient company.

It’s a great app and I never have a problem using it. However, it would be nice if it was updated for newer phones (Face ID and IPhone X support would be nice)

I can do it all with ACEElitePrepaid! Transfers, check my balance & transaction history they even let me know when I’ll be receiving my direct deposit when I do need to call!

I’ve had this service a really long time, way back before they even had an app. Love the service. Support has been great.

Feature wise, ACEElitePrepaid is great. I’m able to do a lot from moving money, to managing my virtual cards. Looks like the developers keep building on it and adding useful features.

With that said, I’m never excited to actually use ACEElitePrepaid . The load time across the board is astronomical. ACEElitePrepaid has the longest launch time compared to any other app on my phone. Going from one page to another always takes long to load. I most often end up given up and closing ACEElitePrepaid , then use the browser version.

The functionality of ACEElitePrepaid needs a lot of work. The developers should invest resources to make ACEElitePrepaid snappier. That’s the only thing that’s missing.

I have had Ace Elite and Ace flare now for over 15 years and I absolutely love it they have a very good customer service and do whatever they can to make the card holder the priority.

I just used the mobile check load and I can say this is the best hands down 🙌🏾 It was so easy, fast and understandable. I recommend everyone to use ACEElitePrepaid!!!!!!

We should be able to get overdraft protection, or a credit or something for being a customer for a long period of time for emergencies in the time of need especially when you have direct deposit.

It works for me just sometimes people don’t understand things in the easy way out is just throw negative but it works perfect

ACEElitePrepaid is the best for I can use my bank but The only thing missing is the fingerprint do not like using my password over and over again is there a possibility that I can be added as soon as possible.. if you can’t appreciate it so much thank you for your faithful user

I have had the same account for 15 years and will continue for many more , I would rather this account then an actual checking account it’s super dependable and reliable and they stand by and take care of account holders and I’ve even had an unauthorized charge where I had money transferred out of my account into a hackers account and i was able to dispute it and they refunded my money within 10 days!!

The money comes straight to my account with no processing needed. I truly love this service. It’s reliable and fast.
