App crashes frequently; when adding vaccinations, or saving vaccinations or diary entries… basically any time. There is also no built in vaccination recommendations that help you schedule your vaccinations. Reminders do not display consistently. Some show, others do not. No reason. There needs to be a field for recording vaccine brand names and anatomical location of the shot. Still trying to find a good pet care log. This isn’t really it. Close, but not there.

Update:
- why can’t fields for weight and date be updated to simple entry and calendar entry respectively. Needs an ergonomic update.
- Reports are kind of useless for weight need to be able to see trend since start and in reasonable date ranges. (Go look at MyFitnessPal.).

Just downloaded and added our new dog. Seems simple and straightforward. I’m missing an alert or reminder. It would be great to be able to set yearly, monthly, daily, any time-based reminder for things like flea treatment, heartworm, medications. Otherwise, I’m able to track my stats, meds, vaccinations easily.

We have three dogs to keep track of, so I thought DogBuddyPro would be great. However, you add your dogs in, but you can’t put medications or anything into their profile. Any vaccines or procedures done go into a general folder. Could be better if dogs had their own folder instead of having to dig through to find information... It seems the same as the free version, except you can add multiple dogs.

I have been trying to find a good app to keep up with my pupper’s health history. So far this is my favorite one because it doesn’t require me to sync with my vet’s non-existent online records to add vaccines and such. Overall this one is a good option so that I always have her health history on hand, but it could use some changes.

It would be great if I could choose from a list of vaccines and medications instead of having to type all of that information in manually. I would like to have the option to add reminders for recurring medications. A section for upcoming appointments would also be be super helpful. DogBuddyPro isn’t optimized to fit my 8 plus screen. The bottom of it is cut off so I can only read the top half of the bottom button descriptions.

Room for improvements, but this is the best one I've found. Wish you could upload more than one photo at a time and change the date on the caption. I like that I can finally export the data!

Very helpful to have info on my phone. I wish there was a word search feature to easily locate info in a day’s note. My pet has hundreds of entries and it can be tricky finding a note’s detail scrolling through. A key word search would be awesome. Please if DogBuddyPro will be discontinued inform us. I have important health info that is crucial I am able to access.

I got this to keep track of our dog’s weight (he’s overweight). I take a picture of him when I weigh him, but there’s not an easy way to tie that pic to the weight. I have added the pics to the pic section, and they have dates, so that’s pretty cool, but it would be BEST if in the notes section of the adding a weight page you could add a photo.

I like that I can keep info but really need an option to move pets to another area without losing everything for that animal when they have passed. I don’t want to delete but I also don’t want to be constantly reminded they aren’t with me. Reminders for vaccines would be good too

Would like to use the export email to one of my Veterinarians, but is not including the medication log. Have contacted support for help with this. I am still on the trial, so maybe some of the options are not available until fully subscribed. Will wait for answers.

I’ve been using Dog Buddy for years but only in the last couple of years did I really realize its true potential. I keep track of my dogs appointments and documents I submit to their insurance. It’s great.

I love DogBuddyPro and have used it from day one. This is a baby book on my dog . I keep all of his important information on it and anytime he goes to the vet. It valuable info on your dog and you have all his information at one place

This is a great app to help keep track of your doggies info! Not only can you record vaccinations and vet visits but you can also have a little diary about them and put pictures you’ve taken of them on here! I like to be organized and this is perfect for me!

My dachshund had to have spine surgery for IVDD. I haven’t ever known someone who had the surgery and so was flying blind. I knew I needed to chronicle each day to monitor his progress and ensure that he was in fact making progress. DogBuddyPro made it easy to keep up with diary entries and what I found to be of great importance the “milestones” feature. I can look at a glance to see where he’s made significant improvements as well as review any adjustments the vet said I’d need to make. I went for the Pro version because I needed to import photos to make sure his wounds were healing and be able to compare them day by day. My only complaint is that I can’t enter photos with each diary entry and milestone. (To be fair I just might not have figured that out yet—I’m more concerned with his surgery rehab.) There is a great section for medications which I found really helpful since he’s on so many right now. I would not have been able to organize all of this information in such a practical manner, with such easy access my husband can search and find exactly what is happening. This program was a godsend. The free version is just as good. If you have a puppy, or I assume any pet this is a great program to track vaccines, injuries, milestones etc. HIGHLY recommend.

I have 3 dogs and keeping track of all the important stuff without an organized way to do so could be troublesome.

Dog Buddy allows me to keep track of every single important detail. It also adds the date and time automatically for me!
This is a great app to have.

I started with the free app then upgraded because we know we will be getting another dog in the future. The information transferred over easily! I would recommend making it an auto transfer instead of having to go into the settings. Seeing other reviews others seemed to have difficulty with it.

I searched high and low for an app that I could log my sick dog’s food intake and weight. I finally found the answer to my search in DogBuddyPro!! And the free version allows you one dog to test it out!! I upgraded because I wanted to support them, plus I have several dogs.

DogBuddyPro would also be great for keeping track of when a puppy goes (and you are trying to house train them)

DogBuddyPro is awesome. I recommend anyone with a dog download and use DogBuddyPro to keep track of essential information regarding their life and health! My Pug needs regular attention, and the Diary, Medication and Weight logs help me manage her needs without relying on memory or paper notes. As a bi-coastal dog, she has 2 vets, and DogBuddyPro helps me communicate with them about care given by the other.

If you want your little friend’s history organized this is worth it. DogBuddyPro keeps images by date and let's you record notes and other info. Not really printable but you can screen capture. Try it out for a while it’s worth it. I have been using for over 5 years I have pictures of all her milestones. I would give 8 if it were allowed.

We’ve used DogBuddyPro for almost 6 years and it is perfect. It isn’t complicated to navigate and captures the data we need to keep track of our little family members such as vet visits and any medications they are on. We tried out other apps and they all paled next to Dog Buddy…I really can’t even think of any negatives. Well worth it if you want a professional looking data management tool for your pets that doesn’t leave you scratching your head or buried under ads.

Thank you for adding "pass away" option. That allows memories to be saved while not adding to the age of the dog. She is not forgotten while the memories of the new pup build.

It’s been 8 years since she passed and I still use the diary to capture my thoughts and feelings. I recommend Dog Buddy to people I meet.
