News 6 ClickOrlando - WKMG Reviews

News6ClickOrlando is good at giving local news, but don’t rely on its alerts for breaking stories. They have about 7 different categories that you can opt in or out of notifications (like sports, entertainment, weather, etc.). However, they’re unable to classify notifications properly. I have disabled the programming notifications because I couldn’t care less what will be on the news at various times of day... that’s why I have a news app. Despite disabling the programming notifications, I receive them all throughout the day. So the choice is to receive obnoxious notifications about every single broadcast in addition to meaningful NEWS alerts or to disable news alerts completely. I guess I still need a local news app with meaningful notifications because this one fails.

I am so happy this is available now. Since I moved to the Tampa Bay area over a year ago, I have missed my local news stations in Orlando, my beloved home for 19 years. Our town is actually in between both Tampa and Orlando, but considered part of the Tampa Bay Area. Orlando news is relevant to me and my spouse as we travel to Orlando frequently. Seeing all of the familiar faces from the morning, noon, and evening news programs is great too.

I rate News6ClickOrlando well for bringing us the news. I do wish we could comment on the stories. I think that the grammar, spelling, and sentence construction could be much better and would encourage proofreading. Lastly, the left column in dark gray that shows the different sections wastes a lot of space. I believe the sections would be better across the top. I would rather see that left column omitted and all that space used for stories instead.

Appreciate to hear from our local residents who share their story of goodwill or hardship. We have the opportunity to follow up with News 6 and help those “individuals or families”. Getting results or better yet “play it forward”. Three simple words with a strong message. God Bless

I find this site helpful but only if I can find what I’m looking for. I would love to see a broader array of ways to keyword search. For instance, to find upcoming elections in Orange County it would be a lot easier if you could put different combinations of words in and still get the results for which you’re looking. Tonight I never found what I was looking for even though I took word combinations straight from a graphic shown on air. I gave up.

My husband and I will never watch another news Chanel. News 6 feels like family when you watch them. News6ClickOrlando is easy to navigate and you get all the news you need at the click of a button.

I really enjoy the evening team at WKMG channel 6... getting results.
Lisa Bell, Ginger Gadston , Matt Austin, Jamie Seh and my favorite Tom Sorrells are professional, personable and do a great job presenting news that’s not always so great to hear. I especially love the way they wave goodbye at the end of the broadcast. I don’t watch anyone else.

I love the News 6 App. I can easily access the stones and I see many stories I can’t find anywhere else. The News 6 app is going to become my go to source for news when I am away from my television.

I love the way News 6 broadcast the news in a quick, passionate voice to the people of Florida and getting results for them with caring heart and ear. Keep passing on wisdom of the pinpointing news of World.

Please fix the text of the stories not displaying/not loading. I suspect it has something to do with the ads at the bottom of the stories.

When News6ClickOrlando works correctly it is great. The quantity and variety of the stories is very good. Of the 3 local Central Florida Networks this is best app, followed by the WESH app. The worst designed app is the WFTV News app by far.

I have had the pleasure of meeting some of the news team and they are awesome! Very professional yet very friendly. Always on point with what is happening in our city and around the world.

News 6 is like listening to friends who are giving you information.

Great app for news. Stories have the perfect amount of detail and the layout makes it easy for me to see the stories that interest me. Thanks for all the tweaks you have made to it.

The news team is excellent and impartial. Most accurate weather reporting and I like the new “zipper” descriptions.

Partnering with Fla Today is turning off Space Coast residents to Ch 6. The far left, dying newspaper is out of favor and considered dangerous to the largely conservative Space Coast. It constantly attacks GOP elected officials like popular Sheriff Ivey and is opening the danger of turning the area into another Portland with riots and looting by demanding Ivey release video of an arrested a criminal attacking 7 guards trying to book him into the jail. Brevard residents are turning off Ch. 6

Always accurate , in depth stories other channels don’t have, Nature, awareness, traffic, weather ,news ,community ,local , has everything I want, Awesome anchors👍🏼1st class

Why do Matt Austin and Lisa Bell own the launch screen for a year on a channel that has so many great anchors. They put the least diverse anchors (both white) on launch screen for all of 2020 ??? Just needs some better updating so I stick to watching their network on TV.

I’ve watched all other news channels since i arrived from south Florida and stuck with you!! Accurate as my old favorite in wpb!!!

I watch Channel 6 every day. I trust them.
I do wish they would cover Brevard County better. But I still watch them.

My husband and I love Matt, Tom, Lisa and Ginger. They’re very happy people with a love for all. Not at all judge mental, they always tell the whole true story as they know it.

These guys know their stuff and report without hype or scare tactics. Tom is a professional you can believe, without being made to feel inferior. He explains events in understandable terms anyone can use.

It's nice to read the news anytime during the day & it's updated constantly. It’s the main news app I read.

I keep track of the news on my cell phone and watch you guys everyday. Keep up the good work. I love the morning crew 😉

The local stories do a decent job of sharing facts & details in a centered way, but most stories from their parent company (CNN credits at bottom of article) are slanted to the extreme. Stop trying to manipulate the public with one sided content. Just tell us facts from all sides of the story and we'll think for ourselves!

Great application for news, weather, traffic, & etc. for Orlando.

Your station has overloaded with getting results. Every person that has a bit including the weather reports uses that. I guess “reporting” accurately is not enough. We are on overload
Please cut back to your reporters who do get results!

Accurate.. friendly,,, flub ups and laugh right through um. Acts like family.
