I was trying to make a stop motion video but every time I would make a little progress the whole app would stop working. The pause/resume button would break and it would just continue the video no matter how many times I pressed the button. The time-lapse would not stop and the images would keep going at lightning speed. I was not able to use iMotion at all.

So I bought iMotion to do a time lapse video of my pool install. After getting all the pictures on my phone and uploaded to iMotion, every single one in the playback was black. I had 78 pictures and watched as it counted all 78 pictures without displaying one of the 78. Just all black slides. All of these pictures were screenshots so not sure if that has anything to do with it but I passed by 5 other apps before getting this one definitely shouldn’t have stopped when I did. Tried to email app support but apparently that isn’t a thing for these guys.

I just did a purchase for the full app so we can import already taken pictures. This was disappointing as it cropped the images which cut out important details. Also, anytime you go to tools and go back, iMotion shrinks the window making iMotion basically unusable. I really would appreciate it being fixed or a refund. This was not what I was expecting.

I made a stop-motion that was about 2 minutes long. It was 613 frames long, and it took about an hour and a half to do, so I didn’t want to do the same thing again if it didn’t save or something goes wrong, and that’s exactly what happened. It went black at about 225 frames in, and I was disappointed when I realized that. There’s already a review about this black image glitch made 4 years ago and you still did nothing about it, but the rest works ok, it’s just that Timelapses do the same and go black if it’s too long so I wouldn’t recommend this if your doing really long Timelapses or something

I had a veryyyyyy hard time with it it made my photos black and the it would only show like 3 actual photos so whatever the issue could you please fix I don’t know if it was that I had over than 200 photos so I would like to try it without at least 200 photos so I would try it out thanks for stopping by! Ok I am back so I tried it with 3 photos still pitch Place idk if I’m doing something wrong! I like iMotion itself, but one problem that completely ruins it all for me is it messes up the order of my frames, and many of my stopmotions have been spoiled because of this. Please fix this, and I would make it 5 stars, but this just ruins it all. I have spent 3 hours of time on stopmotions that end up mismatched, and I don’t want to waste more time. Thank you!

iMotion is a great stop motion app, and I really like the setup. Although, the premium version is not nearly as great as the Stop Motion Studio Premium. That app does have more effects, but iMotion is an overall amazing app! I do definitely recommend the this app app!

It’s a great app but, there is one major problem that is messing up all of my videos. It doesn’t line up photos correctly if you leave and come back. Example: You start a movie then do something else. Then you resume it when you come back and start taking photos. The photos will almost always be at the beginning not where you want them to be, at the end. PLEASE FIX THIS DEVELOPERS.

iMotion was great it had everything needed it had extra features and was planned out very nice the only problem I have is that you can use the camera facing the screen and not the camera on the back it would make editing and frame taking much easier. But still iMotion is amazing and has everything you need.

Great and simple, and free app. The problems are: You need to select your photos one by one when doing a stop motion. Number 2, It takes quite some time to load in my case. But overall I think this is really great because you can upload photos, and it’s free!

I’m just a beginner on stop motion and any form of animation but iMotion allows me to make work like a professional! You can also take inspiration from others with the gallery and that’s what I did. My work came out (in my opinion) even better than the one who I took inspiration from! One thing though. The option “take photo” is REALLY sensitive. I put the iPad down to do something before I take the next shot and it take a photo when I set it down, leaving one of the shots black. That’s all that annoys me!

For so long I wanted to be an animator for this kind of stuff but I didn’t know what to do. I couldn’t figure out how to use stop motion and it really sucked. But with iMotion it’s like a whole new world of creativity that opened up. so yeah, iMotion is awesome! I recommend it

Great app for beginners and professionals alike. Would recommend to anyone with legos or clay and imagination. One thing I found annoying: I had to pay to add sound or import and export films. That’s is. No bugs or problems, just a good app.👍 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

With the default camera app lacking 4k recording or any real controls I have been trying out time lapse apps.

I have trued out iMotion. I am not impressed, as a lot of features were locked until you purchase. I didn’t see that mentioned anywhere.

I’ve been trying to make stop motions ever since I Started watching them. This is something you definitely want to have this start you are making stop motion videos. This is an important thing for anyone who wants to start making the motion videos!

This is actually worth it. You can easily upload videos to your gallery, but a tip, press “remote” to make a stop motion. It’s an app worth getting, and the people that make it did a good job and probably put a lot of work into the development of this stop motion app. 😁

So I try iMotion and it’s called this app so I download it and I click new movie
I chose manual and there I was starting to make the brick film and then I go to tools and guess what... there was a flash light so that means I can have lighting but it’s not that good because it shines on everything but its still good you can also use the onion skin tool so you can see where you put your mini figure at. Screw stop motion studio I’m going to use this app the best stop motion app in the world👍👍👍👍👍

iMotion is great for beginner stop motion animators. You can take lots of photos for the videos you make and there are other helpful tools to try out like a grid and there’s a feature that allows you to use your phone flashlight as well. I like to use iMotion for taking the pictures and then edit them more in iMovie to add music and transitions. iMotion is free and easy to use. You can also look at the gallery on there and see what other creators who use iMotion have made and take inspiration from that. You can see pay money for extra tool options they have.

I use this for stop motions, and it’s super easy to make them look really good! There are a few options like the frame in frame (I guess that’s what you call it?) where you can see your last picture along with the current frame to see if the movement will look choppy or not. I think that it’s really easy for people new to stop motion to use. No real complaints.

Okay, So, this app is a very simple (in a 👍 way) and fun to make. But ☝️ suggestion I want to make is to delete the camera sounds. Sometimes I try to lower the volume, but in my memory it didn’t work. Anyway, as I was saying, this is a 👍 app and I ❤️ how much simple and easy it is to make a stop motion. If my friends ever want to make stop motions, I will definitely suggest iMotion. I actually downloaded iMotion because of 🏫, and I loved 🥰 it. I still use it, especially after the new upgrade. I would ❤️ it if you upgrade more. I ❤️ making videos so iMotion is perfect 🤩 for me. And I would also ❤️ it if you changed the colors a little bit, just to make it a little more brighter. That’s all I could suggest. This is the best stop motion app I’ve ever seen! 😍
