The astronomical amount of errors found in the stories on this "news" app is nearly unbelievable. There is apparently no editing or spellcheck available, and I would be surprised if the "reporters" even finished third grade, let alone received a degree.

Ok, so I wrote the original review years ago. Nothing about WSAWNews is improved in any way, I think it’s actually gotten worse. The latest update takes you out of WSAWNews , to the WSAW website, which would be fine if over half the stories I clicked on were actually there. I keep getting 404 errors.

Someone please fix this. Also, hire some people with writing skills. The errors are atrocious.

Doesn’t work at all. Sits on opening screen, endlessly “loading”. Been like that for months no matter the update.

Why do ads show up on top of the story so one can’t read it. A real problem for WSAWNews and I don’t use it a lot because of it.

You have no weekend news ! It’s 2:30 on Saturday afternoon and your news has not been updated since yesterday!!

Don’t travel with WSAWNews..finds a location you’ve been at and freezes on that location. Constant crashes!!

I have sports unchecked and they send out stuff about the Packers winning or losing as breaking news.

The last couple of updates have claimed to “fix bugs” yet WSAWNews won’t do anything but crash, on any of our family apple devices… :( :(

I still get news banners. But when I slide to open them it loads for a second and crashes.
And there is no update to fix this.. it have been months..

The new app is bad. Really bad. More news stories that are a day old than new stories. Old news is a good way to become irrelevant. Really liked WSAWNews before the changes. Now looking for a better news app. Stevens Point resident.

Looks like it’s time to find a new news source as WSAWNews is horrendous and I’m not wasting time with a live broadcast. Now only if there was as many news stories and they worked as well as all the advertisements do.

WSAWNews has blasted me with enough ads! The video ads that auto play at the splash screen using my data without a click off button makes me very angry. It’s a little too aggressive for me. Also the news is not updated enough. Deleted WSAWNews!

At this time, in the development of media in the US, is there any legitimate reason to have news stories that are 3 to 5 days old on your website or mobile apps?? Why would you haves stories older than three days old on your storyline. Except for the fact you yourselves are out of date... that limits the value of what you’re selling. I routinely see stories on your website that are 5 to 6 days old???? Explain that to me please.....

Crashes every time when you try to go into the news section. Kind of worthless when a news app won’t let you see the news.

Constantly freezes up. No content when searching headlines. Crashes often. Every updates seems to make things worse not better. If you watch the broadcast you already know the vast amount of technical problems the station experiences, WSAWNews is 10 times worse. Try channel 9 app, it works MUCH better.

WSAW is a very good television station, professional and polished. WSAWNews offers only a brief amount of news to the point where it's not entirely useless, but close. The comments are powered by Disqus but whoever monitors the comments for WSAW is a bleeding heart liberal who is quite easily offended. Hence, postings have vanished. Lipstick on a pig doesn't make a pig smell any better and something definitely stinks at WSAW.

Find items to be timely. Up to date! Nice to have WSAWNews available.
