I get there are editorials but the fact that KWTXNews publishes AP, Reuters, etc. news articles as journalism when it is clear editorials about current events that continues to polarize this nation and push everyone to more radical dipolar opposing viewpoints is alarming.

Free speech is based on the premise that people can speak freely even if we disagree. But to repress a large population of your viewership will not only ruin any journalistic integrity that I hope a true reporter has, but it fails the American people and dehumanizes a population in a radical manner that allows for and even justifies actions that history has taught us were the foundations for heinous actions that shocks future generations who cannot understand how could people do and allow this?!?

I hope that we embrace the 1st Amendment before we self-fulfill Benjamin Franklin’s words that we did not protect our freedom and we traded it for what we perceived as safety to only have it!

I really want to like KWTXNews. I love KWTX and enjoy using them as a source for getting the news. Unfortunately, almost EVERY time I open it and click on the news column- it completely crashes. This has happened for the past year. It works but will suddenly crash during one of the stories. For the past 2 months it doesn’t even let me open stories before crashing.

Lastly, the ads at the beginning of starting KWTXNews are ridiculous. The 1.5 minute long cartoon game ads are infuriating. I’ll close KWTXNews and not even use it if I have to sit through that junk. Local advertising is one thing, but internet junk sales is lame.

Please fix!!!!

KWTXNews is constantly freeze and useless. Have deleted and reinstalled numerous times and it never helps.
Had to turn off notifications because they aren’t local and of no concern. What’s the point if you can’t customize alerts and get the ones that concern local viewers.
Not to mention they don’t review before posting and have numerous typos or sentences that are not correct or in context.
Have to give a star rating but it doesn’t rank one star.
Have switched to Channel 25 app and never have any issues with KWTXNews . Also have started watching this station.

KWTXNews has been my go-to for local news for years until I purchased a new phone out of necessity. I have loved having it but as my phone has updates KWTXNews seems unable to keep up. It’s very frustrating. I hope the developers hire someone who can keep up. The purpose (for me anyway) of an app is to keep from having look up the parent site every day through search on the internet and have the news delivered to to my phone right away. Frustrating. Not living up to ‘app status’.

I keep hoping that the next time I download KWTXNews it is not going to crash over and over again. Do you even look at these reviews? I don’t think so because this has been going on for months and months. It is very apparent that you don’t care that your review rating, 2.7, is the lowest of the three local stations. You use to be my go to station, but no more. I go to KCEN now. This is really sad.

I’ve had KWTXNews for over a year, and it rarely opens when I want it to. I get an alert and it never opens, ever. I have to completely close KWTXNews and then try to open it again to read a story. Half the time it doesn’t even open, it just sits there and spins. With the new iOS update, it’s even worse and it takes sooo much of my battery when it is trying to open.

When you open the news tab a ad loads. I understand the need for advertising. But there is no way to close the ad and even worse no news stories will load. Bottom line when you open the news tab you get a ad but nothing else. I depend on KWTXNews for my news. Come on guys get this fixed!!!!! I will revise my review when you do.

I am looking for the status of the Temple School Bond’s final tally and it is not here. Has the Commissioners court decided or are they awaiting so lost ballots? Perhaps the vehicle transporting ballots from all the cemeteries has been delayed or has broken down. Poor website to try and find information that’s current.

Used to be an alright app, but here lately they’ve turned just like every other news source. “Local school on fire” but doesn’t say where or what school drawing you in with their click bait to read about a story 900 miles away.
Notifications have become so frequent and disruptive, and they’ve become more and more biased.
KWTXNews itself also has bugs somewhat frequently.

Open KWTXNews and it crashes, check the weather and it crashes. App devs please look into this, already deleted app and reinstalled it but seems worse now.

I also agree with another user, enough with the Killeen/Temple news. At the very least give us an option to opt out of those locations news stories.

When it works, KWTXNews is great. Unfortunately, about 9 out of 10 times I open KWTXNews it crashes immediately and once it crashes, I can’t get it to open for a few days, regardless of restarting my phone or anything.

App is clumsy and unable to select which “local” news you want to get. The only alerts are for Killeen, Harker and Cove, nothing that is really “local”. Needs ability to filter alerts that people that don’t care about Killeen can avoid. Does anything happen in Waco or is KWTX a Killeen station now?

KWTXNews is handy for a quick glimpse of what's happened on n central Texas. Unfortunately a glimpse is all you get if the photos. It would be great if it was possible to zoom in on Robert suspects etc. Reports are brief and concise but using grammar and spelling checker before posting would be a plus.

I like the overall app, but it is very annoying to find the latest stories mixed in with older news. It would make more sense to simply add the newest stories last as they come in. Also, many grammar and spelling errors.

I can’t get the KWTX app on my phone to open. It just goes back to the screen with all the apps. It’s very frustrating. I don’t know what to do. I’m still getting their notifications, but when I click on it nothing happens. Help.

It would be nice if the notifications included the city of said news. Breaking news in Tennessee is not something I would immediately look at because it would not impact me, my family, or my friends. Or if there was a way I could get breaking news for McLennan County only.

Love the notifications but wish your site sorted items by time and date with newest listed first. Hate having to find latest bed item.

I would like to commend you for sharing such good news. It is so sad that most news is bad. Good for you for taking time to seek out some good news.

I'm not always in front of my TV, and Radio may help with weather alerts, but it truly makes a difference in which Radio Station you are listening to.
It seems as if the TV Networks/ Stations are partenered with each of the separate Radio Station Groups.
So the information you hear are reporting from different areas of the viewing/listening audience.
For example Channel 6 ABC- tends to cover Killen, Temple, Belton area News,Weather.
Where KWTX Channel 10's App. And Breaking News and Weather Alerts are concerning Central Texas and are in real time exactly where I live in a 60 mile radius and the Breaking News begins with where I live and then extends out further to other Central Texas areas. Channel 10- is the best way I can get the information I need on my phone locally, nationally, and news that is important that I need to know. I use my App for Channel 10 every day multiple times a day.
It's the only news I trust, and my friends also use their App. as well.

Good app with great customization for news alerts. This station is far and away the best local news station in Central Texas.

KWTXNews crashes more frequently than any other application installed on any of my devices. Once I receive a notification, and I open KWTXNews to see the article(s), it may crash initially and it will crash repeatedly as I scroll through the pages. It also crashes when I delete a single notification, but not when I clear notifications.
Also, advertisements fill the center of the screen, blocking text from view.
It is still an asset to me, although it doesn’t perform or function adequately.
