You downsized the filters to less than half of what you had and made half of the now available filters premium. You also KINDLY removed an entire section of premium filters I bought when I originally purchased PICFXPictureEditorBorders years ago. Will I be receiving a refund for those? Then you made filters (such as instant film and some of the black & white filters) that previously came when you paid for PICFXPictureEditorBorders now premium. SUCH BAD BUSINESS!!!! Thankfully I mainly use the PFX filters... but honestly I don't really want to support PICFXPictureEditorBorders anymore. Idk if your selling PICFXPictureEditorBorders for free now and so you want to start charging for filters but I don't really care for your reasoning. I paid for this and have been supporting PICFXPictureEditorBorders for years. This was previously my favorite app for filtering photos. You did your customers dirty... 😕💩I would highly suggest against PICFXPictureEditorBorders and especially don't purchase any of their premium filters or in a year or two they might decide to just remove them!

PICFXPictureEditorBorders used to be so cool, and my go to for editing pictures to give them a pop. But all of the features I loved are gone - I redownloaded without reading the reviews, and lemme tell you, that was a waste of time. The old filters that were cool and special on this apple are gone: bokeh, texture, lights, galaxy. What use is there for PICFXPictureEditorBorders now? Literally all the filters are built into smartphones now. There’s no need to download an additional app, let alone pay for basic filters that don’t differ from competing apps. I’m not surprised to see all the other reviews saying the same thing. But it doesn’t matter, we’ll be ignored. Don’t download PICFXPictureEditorBorders, it’s a waste and you’re better using your built in filter editor in your photos. Definitely deleting. Unfortunate.

I rarely use PICFXPictureEditorBorders for photo editing or preset filters. My primary app is VSCO cam and it works for most things I want to do. I kept PicFX and used it only occasionally when I wanted a special effect for a photo, mostly light leaks, bokeh, sparkles, galaxy type stuff. The silly trendy stuff that can make a sup-par selfie more fun. I opened it today and was confused to find none of those things. Thought I was crazy at first, and checked all my other apps before coming to the review section. No reason to keep PICFXPictureEditorBorders around now. I am sure it does its new job fine, but why would I switch from VSCO?

This is a very user friendly app, the filters are gorgeous and a breeze to apply/adjust. The changes made to PICFXPictureEditorBorders were much needed, they removed some of the more cheesy effects, and added some essential filters. Stacking filters is also very easy to accomplish.

I've never written a review for an app before in my life, and I'm sad to say my first one will be a sad one star for picfx. It used to be my favorite, but now with the most recent update all of the things that I loved and (and paid for) are gone. No bokeh, lights, texture, etc. (i.e...why I purchased PICFXPictureEditorBorders). Of what remains, almost half are premium and require additional payment. It's kind of insulting to customers who have used, loved and paid for picfx....Sad. (Also, I tried the restore recommendation from the customer service comment before mine and it did nothing). 😐

Love, love, love this application. I've been using PICFXPictureEditorBorders for a long time. For what it does it does really well. Nice range of filters that are stackable.

Wish it would save at a better quality.

This used to be my go-to app for filters, back when I was really involved in social media. I’ve cut back a lot on social media the last couple of years, but I recently went back into PICFXPictureEditorBorders , and was super disappointed to see that all the good filters are gone. The light leaks and textures were my favorite and really set PICFXPictureEditorBorders aside from every other app I ever used for photo editing. And the fact that they were free was a bonus! Now I feel like it just has basic photo edits. Nothing special about it at all. Deleted.

PICFXPictureEditorBorders used to be my favorite photo editing app. Tons of effects, filters and frames! With the current version there is next to nothing. No frames, no effects, and only a small handful of filters. So disappointed with this product now. I'm hoping the developers will reconsider their decision to scale down the features and bring them back with the next upgrade. If not, I'm deleting PicFX from my phone and will continue to search for something that was a wonderful as what PicFX used to be.

I almost never post app reviews but I had to say something about this. Picfx was my go-to app for cool filters and they are now all gone! PICFXPictureEditorBorders does what Instagram and Twitter and even my camera roll on my iPhone offer innately. I have no use for PICFXPictureEditorBorders anymore and the premium filters I previously paid for have been restored and downgraded from what I originally purchased. No idea why you guys took away everything that was cool about your app! I'll return if the filter do... otherwise ✌🏼

PICFXPictureEditorBorders wasn’t free and I paid for the previous filters such as boker and other filters that was included before the new update. Do not buy PICFXPictureEditorBorders because eventually you will end up with half of the filters gone again. The restore purchases button doesn’t work and doesn’t bring back the filters that you paid for. I will file a complaint to PICFXPictureEditorBorders developer that made Picfx. Picfx scammed everyone and hasn’t paid attention to their bad reviews!

I don’t understand why you got rid of so many filters here in PICFXPictureEditorBorders ! I use to use PICFXPictureEditorBorders so much for years, I haven’t used it in so long because I haven’t really used any filters on pictures of taken on my phone, when I went back to use it for those specific filters they were gone and I guess I have to pay for them now?? Like what?? Please bring back the filters that were originally there when everyone first started using PICFXPictureEditorBorders

This was by far my favorite picture editing app and I used it all of the time. Now after an update, it is literally the worst and most useless app I have ever had. I've used Pic FX for a few years and now I will sadly be deleting it. How stupid that you guys decide to delete more than half of the filters you had including all of the ones that made PICFXPictureEditorBorders special, plus half of what's left is considered premium. What a total joke!

PICFXPictureEditorBorders WAS great. There was a great selection of filters and effects, and now there are barely any. They've removed most of their options and added new "premium" packs which aren't even worth it. Based on a response to another review, the developers apparently removed a lot of the options because they themselves didn't use them hahah. Don't download PICFXPictureEditorBorders, you'd be better off using the filters built into your camera.

This was my favorite app, my go-to. I've been using it for years to make unique images. I especially loved all the texture filters and I was appalled that they are all just gone!!! Not even purchasable? I deleted PICFXPictureEditorBorders because now it's useless. I have Snapseed to do any of the new versions' things and more. But there isn't really anything out there like the old version of PICFXPictureEditorBorders. I don't understand what led to this decision. So sad and makes no sense.

I fondled my head around PICFXPictureEditorBorders looking for the bokeh, ripples, and other great filters. Came to realization that it’s gone and saw the AppStore and realized there is so many complaints that it’s close to being a 1 star because of their “updated” features. I used to use this frequently but I’m debating about whether to keep or delete. No need for ridiculous filters that can’t compete with the oldies.

I noticed the photos app extension doesn’t work on iOS 13. Is there a fix for that coming soon? I definitely used it a lot in iOS 12 and it’s missed already. Great app all around otherwise. Keep the update and features coming.

I used to LOVE PICFXPictureEditorBorders. It was my favorite photo editing app. They totally ruined it! I used to love the vintage selection they has which is totally lame now, but the completely got rid of the "scratches", "textures" and "lights" filters which were all awesome and I used often. Those filter options and general variety is what made PICFXPictureEditorBorders the best and they totally ruined it. Whoever made this decision is about as smart at business as Donald Trump.

What in the world happened? I got PICFXPictureEditorBorders years ago and I used to absolutely love it. Their was a big variety of filters and overlays were perfect and this used to be my absolute favorite. Now there are barely filters and PICFXPictureEditorBorders is not worthy of even 1 star anymore.
I want the old app back!!!! And I’m certain I’m not the only one.
Also the ‘purchase restore’ option does absolutely NOTHING for me... so disappointing...

You guys really ruined a good thing. Please restore all old filters. You seriously kept the worst of the bunch and got rid of so many cool filters.

Also, if I paid $1.99 for PICFXPictureEditorBorders and its filters, why can I not restore to all of those old filters? You should be offering a refund to all users. You have suckered us into paying for an app we want and then downgrading all of us without consent. SHAME 🔔 SHAME 🔔 SHAME 🔔

I can make badly exposed iPhone pics look almost professional with this product
