School is supposed to be a good place where all should be able to speed the day without worrying too much. Of course there’s test but usually as long as your overall grade maintains a good score, such as a A or B, you shouldn’t be stressing about every single mistake you make. StudentVUE makes it so parents and students can see each test score at all times. Instead of the big picture, most parents will look at each and every assignment and test in the class as if it was like a Van Gogh painting. Parents start losing trust in their kids if they don’t fill in every test and assignment they do and what score they’ve received. Great idea, bad execution

I like to think I’m a pretty smart student i usually get A’s and Sometimes B’s. its not really StudentVUE that I’m mad at... Im upset at how my teachers use it. They expect me to turn in all my work on time, sure i can do that but when i don’t they act like its the worst thing in the world. But the thing about it is, is that when i did my work and turned it in “BEFORE IT WAS DUE” and it shows up with “not graded” or “missing” i get in trouble with my parents, or i have another thing to worry about. How are teachers going to tell me to finish all of my work on time when there not grading the work that i did on time? Anyways i hope someone out there will see this and relate, but for now i have a project i need to finish on the study of carbon dioxide.

StudentVUE is literally awful. Not only does it have odd ways to navigate things, but it sends random notifications with nothing important in them. It isn’t reliable at all, unless you’re just trying to get a percent you can just see at the school on a chrome book or the website. It works very slowly, just like the website. It is awful for students who have to work from mobile devices. There’s no point in using StudentVUE when you can use Google Classroom or speak to your teachers. StudentVUE is problematic and needs a lot of fixing by the producers who obviously haven’t touched it since it came out.

I’m so mad. StudentVUE literally gives me so much anxiety because the grades for each class don’t have colors that go to it, it’s just black numbers in form of a percent. In all of the other apps that we used to be able to use (but now that our school district changed things) there was a green box for if you had an A and the percentage inside, blue for B, yellow for C, orange for D, and Red for E/F, now I have to deal with figuring out whether or not I have an A or a B because at a certain percentage point a high B can turn into a boarder line A. It’s so much more complicated and I’m literally so mad that my school county thing changed everything like literally were dealing with enough change and they decide to change this and cause everybody even more stress. So I suggest that StudentVUE does the color coded boxes with the percentages inside and just ease everyone’s anxiety or stress because it’s already stressful enough opening StudentVUE to see what grade we got for a test in X class and then to have to figure out whether something in the highs of a for example B is a boarder line A is just annoying and stressful.

StudentVUE only comes in handy in a one single way. When I need to check if my grades are doing okay but other than that my dad checks StudentVUE constantly 2-4 times a day I’d say and he comes in my room and yells at me to do work when I have most of my work done and have turned in about 10-15 big assignments in that one day. This isn’t helping anything it makes me mad and stressed beacsue of the this stupid app what I’d give to go back to getting a report card at the end of the semester. I hope StudentVUE gets banned or somehow can tell parents that teachers can’t grade everything the second you turn it in. It’s extremely frustrating and ruining my relationship with my dad.

I don’t sleep well anymore, and it is because of StudentVUE. I have to stress out about my grade and my teachers who sometimes don’t even put in the right grade until I specifically tell them that they’re wrong. In addition, our school uses Canvas so the grades for our assignments basically show up there too, and I don’t feel like involving my dad in my academics because that stresses me out probably the most. I don’t like being asked about grades that are clearly gonna be fixed. I didn’t do good in middle school but without his help I’m doing great in high school. But StudentVUE causes him to ask me every two seconds about a random 5/10 that went into the gradebook.

The feeling StudentVUE gives me is it’s not optimized for iPhone X models or higher. The UI is just confusing and sometime it can’t even fetch Synergy Mails. Loading time for some pages are super long. It’s not convenient to get work done and finding informations. The Synergy compose system is just terrible. Need lots of work on StudentVUE. I hope that the UI is more optimized for iPhone X or later(please have a dark mode for night) and reduce the time for loading pages. I also hope that they add support to apple wallet. It’s going to be way more convenient for students.

My school system just switched to this grading system this year so this is the only app I can use to check my grades. It’s okay (if I’m being generous), I have suggestions to make StudentVUE actually useful.
- PLEASE allow us to put in a “what if” grade into specific assignments, so we can see what our grade in the class would be if we got an A or something on an assignment.
- PLEASE make the grades color coded!! It’s so much easier to tell at a glance how we’re doing when it’s color coded. Green=A Blue=B Yellow=C Orange=D Red=E
- This is more nit-picky but it would be great if the swipe-to-go-back feature actually worked. Like how you can swipe to the right from the left side of the screen instead of actually clicking the back arrow.
- Also nit-picky but it would be cool if you could get some people who knew how to make a nicely designed app. It could be a lot more user-friendly. Sorry if that’s kinda harsh but yeah.

This is a great app hands down, as a tool at least. I can check my grades, which is the one thing I use it for. The problem is parents see when you do an individual problem that may seem like the student is at fault, but in the big picture (being the report card we still get) your doing fine. It allows parents to get the misconception that the student is doing poorly based on one problem out of a large amount of successes. So what I’m trying to say is: it’s useful to check for grades, but leads parents to only look at your failures and ignore your successes.

If we plan on going all digital, this app and parentvue in entirely should be getting upgrades and updates way more often than once a year. There are so many necessary changes and QOL issues they could fix but just don’t want to. 2 major additions I think should be a given is a chart that shows how your grades changed over the semester and a system to put in a specific grade to see how your grade can change for a future assignment/test, the system for it is a bit flawed and limits people to only see how they could have improved previously to see how to get to a higher grade instead of what specific grades they need to be getting in the future to reach that next milestone.

StudentVUE personally Is a good app for me to check my grades . It tells me my grades in that class and what I got on a assessment. It also helps me keep track of how many trades and absents I have. I can also get updates and “texts” from my teachers . But the bad thing about StudentVUE is that it has a bad login system! I use to only have the ability to log in once a day . Now I can’t even log in I have to use a computer or ask my teacher . When I can really check it myself in less than 2 minutes! But I can’t because u haven’t been able to log into my account in weeks !!!

It’s an app, just like any other app. It has bugs just like any other app. Stop blaming StudentVUE for giving you a bad grade. You probably got a bad grade for a reason. Maybe get a tutor and actually do your assignments. Or perhaps speak to your counselor if things are getting really bad.

The truth is that there are issues with the dropbox uploading. Sometimes it will upload and other times not. But that is likely because of a bigger issue, the servers going out at least once a week. Even the teachers always complain how they can’t access Synergy.

Again, STOP BLAMING StudentVUE FOR YOUR BAD GRADES. If you were wondering why StudentVUE is low rated, it is because of students complaining and not because StudentVUE is broken.

I like the ease of which I can check my grades and see what each of them is worth in the summary. The documents tab is also very useful as my county updates it with my transcripts, class schedules, and sat scores.
However, I am confused because the course history tab was removed recently and that was one of the things that I liked most for StudentVUE . I was able to see what classes I have taken/need to take, all my past teachers & grades, my gpa, and my testing requirements. I am genuinely sad it’s gone because it always updated much quicker then I would get my transcript, especially with summer classes.
I would prefer if it could be linked it with PayPal so I could pay school fees, textbook costs, etc. but that’s just me.

this is actually a good app. blaming StudentVUE for YOUR parents being obsessive is not the developers problem. Talk to your parents about being obsessive with your grades and move on. StudentVUE could be better if the UI was a bit more pleasing to look at but it serves its purpose. i don’t wanna have to power up my computer to look at my grades, and StudentVUE helps with that. AGAIN fix your problem with your parents instead of BLAMING StudentVUE .

For the most part, StudentVUE is fantastic. I prefer it over the online website version for some things (checking grades and attendance). Although it looks a little old, it still works very well.

One major complaint I have is we can’t check our course history like you can do on the website. I can’t see my GPA or my credits unless I go to the website... which is really inconvenient. Please consider changing this so we can see “Course History” in StudentVUE .

There is one small issue I have been having due to a VPN I have on my phone. When I try to log in, it loads for about 30 seconds (it says “verifying status”) and eventually it says there is an error signing me in. I get that this is an easy fix, just turn off the VPN, but it would be nice if it worked no matter what.

I honestly don’t get why StudentVUE is rated so low!!! A bunch of the reviews are saying that their parents constantly checking StudentVUE stresses them out, it strains their relationships, etc. but there’s nothing wrong with StudentVUE itself! If your parents are freaking out over your grades for some reason, that’s THEIR PROBLEM. Don’t just blame StudentVUE for everything, jeez. People are saying they get good grades but their parents still get mad, but again, that’s their problem and if you can’t clear it up and decide to blame StudentVUE instead it’s just annoying. StudentVUE works well, don’t trust the negative reviews.

It is not a bad app because of over bearing parents. If your parents are being over bearing or if they’re concerned by some missing assignments then its more of an issue between student and parent.

Just because the grades aren’t color coded doesn’t make it a bad app. just take a couple seconds to look it over and if you forget something just look at it again.

If my fellow students could stop taking their frustrations out on StudentVUE for problems outside of said app that would be lovely, maybe then I wouldn’t have to boost my review from 4 stars to 5 stars to compensate 😊

All these one star reviews are from kids who dislike the idea of their parents constantly monitoring them in StudentVUE . StudentVUE itself isn't bad or have any problems, it's how parents will harass their children about their grades constantly. If a parent is reading these reviews, please keep your child's mental health in mind. You can check StudentVUE every so often,, but don't monitor their grades like a madman. You can instead have your child check it, without you peering over their shoulder, and tell them to tell you what they're comfortable with telling you about school. Trust your children please.

This is a very good app very well made and simple to see my grades But is there any way to fix the glitch where it says all of my grades are F’s just kidding StudentVUE is very good would 100% recommend to all students out there keep up the good work 😄 I also like the fact that you can just look straight at your grades with no hassle what so ever. One thing that I would fix though is that sometimes it won’t let me log in to my account and then randomly fix a week later but other then that one thing this is a very nice app and would definitely recommend this to any student out there who needs to check there grades easily. Once again keep if the fantastic work Synergy 👍

I use this app with the Olathe School District, and I love it. It’s quite simple to use, and I can see my grades quickly. I can use it on my school iPad during the school year, or on my phone. Overall, it’s a great app, but we have frequent glitches where some students cannot use their app for some reason. I know that this app is working to improve all the time, and I’m sure this issue is improving frequently. I’m excited to see how it will work on my iPad this coming school year, as I start school in a week and a half. Keep up the great work!

I’m not sure if it’s my district, but 99% of the time I get a “failed message” whenever I want to look at my grades. I have to close out StudentVUE and reopen it and even then, it won’t work. Extremely unreliable and if I try to go through safari instead it won’t work there either. It could be my district (my school district is a joke) but now that it’s towards the end of the school year I’d love to actually know what my grades are.

It’s not great. Logging in with your fingerprint is convenient, but that’s about the only reason I would bother using StudentVUE . Once in a while, error messages would show up and prevent me from using it for several days at a time. The interface is also not very visually appealing. Most importantly, the “Class Websites” section doesn’t even work. It forces me to actually go on the website on my phone to do my assignment, so StudentVUE is pretty much useless.

Y’all need to fix StudentVUE or somethin because when I’m deleting my mail StudentVUE crashes and I got to relog I’m and I gotta do that err time I wanna delete any mail I get. Other than that StudentVUE is fine and I can locate and do tings normally. You just gotta fix that problem.

It would be even better with a notification system for when new assignments are submitted. Instead I end up checking the grade book every 5 minutes to see if the test is in yet.

I used to use this all the time and it’s a great app but if you put your fingerprint in then get rid of it StudentVUE makes you put in your password again. I did this (I have my password written down) but it kept saying it was wrong so now this year I have to get a new account

I really like how StudentVUE lets me see my grades on the go. I wish StudentVUE would allow your grades to appear on the Apple Watch instead of just the student ID card. That would be really helpful to see your grades on your watch Instead of taking out your phone.

This has all I need, it has all the grades on one page, and you can see what semester you want. Then I had the attendance, then it has the assignments one another page. And even a health tab where it shows you what shots you need to take and what you have done. I think it is a great app just I have a IPhone X and StudentVUE stops working after you enable Face ID

Overall your app is great, but there is an issue where your grades will not show up in the grade book. It just shows N/A for everything. I am the kind of person that checks their grades every day and it worries me when I can’t check them. Many other people I know have this issue. I would really appreciate it if you could look into this. Your app is phenomenal otherwise. Thank you :)

Ok, ill start off with saying it does what its supposed to do. I check my schedule, etc. It is a very helpful app, I dont have to individually go to my districts website and go to the this app website to log in. But, there is some grammar errors floating around which makes StudentVUE seem a bit... sketchy. An example is when i checked my calender it said “First day of the School”
Which just doesnt sound right, its a grammar error. Also the logo has a white outline when you open StudentVUE which makes it look unprofessional. Thats all! Hope you guys can fix these errors!

StudentVUE is great, allows me to check my grades as much as I want and it saves my password so all I have to do is click the log in button. The only thing is that I wish there was an option to turn notifications on so I know when my grade changes without opening StudentVUE .

great app, i can check my grades & all that stuff BUT can you try and update to make it compatible with face id on ios? just for convenience. it’s only compatible with touch id as of right now

My school always uses Studentveiw, and it helps so much, because instead of waiting until the end of the semester to see my grades, I can see them anytime I want. I would recommend StudentVUE to anyone.
