I tried the setup via SMS As well as manually entering my data. In neither case does ConnectApp log me in to any Telekom hotspot.
Using the manual method (browser) works fine however. So clearly ConnectApp is garbage.
The application doesn’t auto connect to any Telekom hotspot. It doesn’t work on my iPhone XS Max, my old iPhone 7 or my iPad. It hasn’t worked in a year. Support just tells me to wipe my iPhone and start over which doesn’t help. Regardless of the setup, the login page always appears. The only way to make it work is to manually log in each time using the username or password.
Additionally, the connect app changes the priority of your VPN configurations to “Connect App” all the time, which breaks my actual VPN application from auto-connecting.
Does not work with Telkom_FON you still have to open a browser to log in. Seems to work fine on straight Telkom hotspots
This is a good app to keep a close eye on how much data you are using up
