I WILL NOT PAY!

Used to check LedgerEnquirerNews daily for local news. No more. Can't view stories without paying for an account. The writing for this paper is atrocious. There is no way I would pay for this crap. WTVM only from here on. Only reason I used to use this one is b/c they sometimes had a story or two WTVM didn't. Even then you didn't get even the basic info about what was going on.

What a joke

I get 3 different news paper apps on my phone and the Columbus Ga newspaper wants you to pay to read their app.
What a joke.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!!!!!

This is my second or third time downloading LedgerEnquirerNews. It was working fine for a minute and then one day out the blue requires me to sign into an account to view articles. LedgerEnquirerNews is very annoying....if you want people to sign up for memberships then have your app require it from jump. Don't wait until the user has gotten comfortable and then spring requirements on them to view articles. This will be my final time I have downloaded and deleted LedgerEnquirerNews. I will just stick with the WRBL and WTVM apps. Never had problems out of the WTVM app. I highly do not recommend LedgerEnquirerNews to anybody.

Hate it

I loved the old app where you could feel like you were actually looking at the newspaper. This version, even when you click on the paper, is impossible. You can’t get it large enough to view even on a large iPad because if you enlarge it, it goes off the screen. Needs some serious work.

Free

Should not have to subscribe. All other news is free.

Problems

The current app is worse than the older version when it does load properly. The old app would allow you to view full screen but the new app is full of annoying ads that do not go away and are hampering the view of the small screen paper.

Trash

Download LedgerEnquirerNews to test and all it displays are blank light grey lines. Deleted and reloaded with same results. Bye.

Miserable

I find it hard to maneuver and hard to understand". Just paid for the next 13 weeks subscription. Been a subscriber for close to fifty years. I want my money back!

Horrible

β€œNew and Improved” App is nearly unreadable! It is so frustrating to read this paper now. Please change back!

Disappointing

All I want is the edition. I pay for it and can’t get it. LedgerEnquirerNews is cumbersome. Using the web version is unreliable. Sign in links are broken.

Today’s edition

I want to access the daily edition when it won’t open from email.

Doesn’t respect privacy.

Too many ads for an over-priced local news subscription. No functional archive, no search capability, highly intrusive app requirements such as access to contacts when clearly not needed for purpose of delivering news. This paper has been in steady decline for years and it shows.

The app has troubles

Ignoring the rapidly-declining quality of news from the Ledger, LedgerEnquirerNews itself has been buggy for a while. More than half the time, when LedgerEnquirerNews launches, the latest content doesn’t load, requiring me to hit Refresh. LedgerEnquirerNews is slow, and more than one section won’t load reliably. And the news is never presented in any logical order. LedgerEnquirerNews , like the paper itself, is barely functional.

New iPhone update

Ledger Enquirer has got a whole lot better in the past few months. But I still am not going to pay for LedgerEnquirerNews.

An Easy and Reliable News Experience

I used to only read the Ledger-Enquirer newspaper casually because the online website always had issues (bugs, kinks, premature killing of web pages) and I didn't want to pay for a print subscription (Who does?! Am I right or am I right?). After downloading this application, however, staying up-to-date on important local and national news has never been easier. Articles are displayed in a simple format with embedded picture thumbnails, and LedgerEnquirerNews is extremely easy to navigate. This is a great source for anyone wanting/needing to refer to the Ledger while on the go. I only give the Ledger mobile app a 4 star rating due to its bland layout (my personal opinion). While it may not rival national news outlet mobile apps, I can assure you that you will NOT be disappointed by downloading the Ledger's mobile app. It is a great source of news regarding the Chattahoochee Valley area and the southeast region.

Digital

Love my digital Columbus Ledger-Enquirer! Enjoying the enhanced font feature. No more driveway deliveries. Thank you!

Keeps me in touch

After moving from Columbus a couple of years ago, it's nice to have the Ledger-Enquirer as a means to stay in touch.

I enjoy LedgerEnquirerNews getting news from home not that I resign in San Antonio Texas I do love getting the new from home and keeping up with my high school Columbus High Class of 78. Thanks and keep up the great work. Kelvin Bishop

Great news app

Easy to navigate, great layout and loads quickly. What more could you as for in a news app!!!

Y'all did good on this app!

I love how it notifies me with important news as soon as it happens so I am always up to date.

No longer a free app

I have had LedgerEnquirerNews on my phone for 3 years now and never had to pay. I got the last update this week and now I have to pay for LedgerEnquirerNews . It not worth paying for. Such a waste this was s nice little free app.
