The app looks good but when I tried the 3 day free trial of the plus version (to add more than the 5 free birthdays), it started my trial on my apple account but the app didn’t recognize that the trail was active. When I tried to upgrade to plus it would say that I was already on that plan but when I tried adding more than 5 birthdays it would say I need to upgrade to plus to do so. Basically a wasted free trial due to an error on their end. Extremely disappointing!

This app was a fine replacement for my old birthday reminders app that was apparently abandoned by its developers—right up until the time the developers had the utterly boneheaded notion to change both the name and the icon. Make no mistake, the app still works fine, but when you’re looking through page after page of your iOS apps looking for the one with the list of upcoming birthdays, a cartoon hippo head does NOT connote that meaning. Whoever in marketing came up with this idea and whoever in management approved it should be fired for sheer incompetence.
Apple is about “just works.” Neither the name nor the iconography “just works” anymore, making this the antithesis of a good product for the Apple ecosphere.

This looks like a fairly nice app - a clean UI, and I assume it does what it’s supposed to do. But 5 contacts in and I’ve already reached the pre-upgrade limit.
Look, I’m all for people getting paid for their work. I expect this app to cost something. But $20 or a monthly subscription service...This is a date tracker, right? Similar to the other date trackers on here that cost much less? Am I totally missing something?
This app has great reviews so I’m clearly in the minority... But there’s not many times I’ve been confronted with the prospect of spending $20 on any app. I guess I’ll keep my Facebook which does birthday reminders for free.
