When I turn each page Google Books asked if I want to read the book since the beginning

was in Google Play, looking at purchase history. Noyiced a few books. One asked if I wanted to purchase a bundle by author, $0, so did. Then when I pressed READ, it said Ibhad to download Google Play Books. I did, it oprned, my account icon was in upper right cornrr as it should be, but it couldnt connect, said 'Couldn't retrieve Google Play books library from Google. Check your internet connection and try again'. In app, bottom row butyons Home, Library, Wishlist wont load and gives above message but SHOP button WILL! I use mobile data only, have many Gigs and 5g connection at 4 bars. I can open Google Play app as this is happening and view library easily, so I dont know why Google Play Books app cannot. I tried several times and even reinstalled. I made certain Google Play Store App was closed while using GPB aop, still bo joy, same issues. I only thought to open GPS app after all ghevtroubke and reinstall, to see if I was connected over mobile. Thats when I had both open and GPS app clearly was connected including books librsry while GPB app still could not except ofcourse for shopping menue. Wordt part... I cant apparently read any book, listen to sny book Ive bought without it going through GPB app and it clearly does not work. WTF? Not impressed. iPad on iOS 15.6 ~ I’m trying to get started with this app and the error message as soon as I open the app “oops something went wrong ~ try again” comes up. I can see books in the discover section but same message if I try to open/buy one. Totally dead to me !

Google play books is accepting payment for purchase of book, but not allowing download. Says error 504 or error 504 or something

The problem is that I cannot access google play books. When I attempt this, I get the following message; "Google Play Books on the Web isn't available for your account yet." My library is still there and i can access books already there but i cannot upload anything. Has anyone else had this problem?
