I have been dealing with this issue ever since I’ve gotten Bimmerpost roughly 6 months ago or so. I frequently get No Connection and Reload connection errors when trying to view forums or My Forums or anything at all. It makes no sense. I can be on or off WiFi with good service and still nothing. There seems to by no rhyme or reason as to why there are connection errors besides issues with Bimmerpost or the server. When can we get a fix for it or addressing what the issue is? Bimmerpost works great..... when it’s actually working. It’s just all the downtime with the errors, I’m getting errors 50% of the time and I can not reliably load and browse and search through forums without getting issues. It’s starting to get frustrating. Please can we get some sort of update or a some sort of fix? Everything on my end and my phone is fine, I’ve verified with other users Bimmerpost has these issues.

Like others are saying, it has nonstop connection issues, that seem to only be getting worse while also now effecting the website normally accessible from your browser (phone/laptop/tablet).

It’s great when it does work, but every time I’ve tried to use it for the past few weeks, there’s been an error connecting. I’ve really needed something like this now that I’m in the process of a buyback with my five month old ‘21 Xdrive30e, having issues that other owners seem to be having as well. Mind you issues that I was able to find more information about than the dealership because I was initially able to use this app and see that there have been other owners in the same situation.

Initially I was able to use my laptop, phone, or iPad and just log in through the browser, but as of the last week even that has been a no go.

Concept is great, if it actually worked. As of now, utterly useless.

When I first downloaded this app about a week or so ago, everything worked perfectly and I was very satisfied with Bimmerpost . No longer. For the past three days when I try to open any article it comes back with a message reading, “Sorry we are performing maintenance. Please try again in a few minutes.” I can’t even create an account because certain features on the creation page are completely non-functioning. What happened? Have you really been doing maintenance for 3 complete days morning, noon and night? Get back on your game and fix Bimmerpost please

I’ve used quite a few forum apps before and they were all really bad. The reason why Bimmerpost is so good is because it took the necessary elements and places them on the screen rather than just giving you a shrunken view of the website.

This is a great resource for information regarding any BMW. The members post their questions and receive multiple responses withs
from different aspects. I cannot stop reading the posts. Very informative and easy to use. Only one issue: there is no where on Bimmerpost to create an account (which is the only way you can respond to any of the posts, and trust me, you will want to respond). Otherwise, great app.

This is a great forum kind of app. Lots of people with the same car as me. A treasure trove for information and to meet like minded individuals.

Last but not least, I LOVE the notification sound of Bimmerpost. Those who have been on a bimmer would get this!

Bimmerpost is very well designed. Much better than viewing the website on mobile.
However, about 80% of the time I’ll get an error saying it can’t load the content when I click on a post. I’m on WiFi and all other internet functions work on my phone, but for some reason, Bimmerpost can’t find a connection.

I hope this can be resolved because I really do love Bimmerpost when it works properly

I got Bimmerpost to be relatively active and learn more about my car. The first issue is that I have no idea how to start an account to actually be able to post. Not on Bimmerpost or the website. On the login screen in Bimmerpost , I can fill most of it out but it just tells me my information is wrong. I can’t exit out of fields or even select a country without having to completely close Bimmerpost . Seems like a great idea and I’d love to be able to use it, but it’s clearly very buggy and needs work before I can do anything.

It works pretty well most of the time. For me and my iphone7 it seems to work better with WiFi turned off and I use my organic network.
If I use Wifi I'm unable to upload any images to posts. If I turn wifi off it works endlessly and flawlessly. Just a minor gripe. No big deal. I wish I could unlock my garage sometime soon also so that I may upload the many cars I have owned and customized over the years.

I did not want to update from IOS6 to IOS8 until my BP app stopped working. I don't know why I waited so long. The new updated app is so much better! Good job guys!( iphone4)

Update now that it’s been years. Still working well. I’m on an iPhone 8 now and it works well. iPhone is on IOS 11 now heading to IOS 12 soon.

Bimmerpost takes the experience from a passive web experience which is no better or worse than anyone else's to a fully integrated modern experience with push notifications and favorites, etc.

Can't say enough good things about it!

Bimmerpost was OK until they did a major update a few months ago. Then it actually got easier to use, but at the same time, some things got lost. Most notably, in the Private Party Classifieds, the first category when its opened is “Wheels/Tires” is there but it’s underneath the filter so you can’t access it. Please fix this so I don’t have to go through Safari anymore. If this would be fixed, it would EASILY get at least four stars.

For all BMW applications across the line and general info...this can not be beat. Offers insight, tips anecdotal info, social ideas, operating tips. Great site, does have a few bugs and I find myself deleting and reloading once a week or so.....but that said, it is great

For a free app with minimal commercial interference. Photos seem to be cut off in posts and videos streamed from within messages don’t seem to be making sound with all of the obvious settings set for sound. Would like a longer list of posts to reduce screen refresh

When viewing posts on the forum, the bottom of the screen where the controls are to page forward and back are displayed correctly. Finally fixed with latest version. Life is good!

The only reason I don't put five stars is due to the notifications. When someone replies something to my post I don't get a red notification icon on Bimmerpost . The phone will notify me from a pop-up, but when I click on it, It does not take me to the notification, It just opens Bimmerpost . If that gets fixed id be happy.

Easy to use, but lacks some of the functionality of the desktop m3post site which is to be expected with APs. No logout button at least that I can find. Post file attachment icons are not displayed. On a positive note, the AP user interface is intuitive with clear fonts and graphics. As APs go this is a very good one. 4/5 IMO.

So far, no issues other than minor setbacks from using the actual site (which is already a great and easy to use site) such as editing posts on the forums. Regardless, great app with some truly great and helpful people.

Really helpful app/site for the bimmer community. I have use it for many different reasons, is a great tool to have and it comes handy no matter where you are at. The only thing that I would ask the creators is to please make it easier for us to upload pictures.

It’s all here. Well pretty much. A fantastic research option. I have found so many answers here. The format is laid out well. Took a bit to get the functions down but I am slow. It’s my car that’s fast😉

Of all the forum apps I’ve tried, this one has the most seamless operation to find forums and posts. No problems with opening or connecting to this app, and the UI makes it easy to stay current with threads I’m following.
