Hit & A Miss

A friend told me about this app, at first I loved it many options and great deals. I book an event that mentions no fees or payment involved. I get to the event and I have to pay (beyond what I am willing to pay). They need to work on giving out all the details to the events they have!! It’s a waste of time to go somewhere out of your budget when the app is created to do the opposite. Food and drink wise the deals are worth it.

But I’m only giving it four stars and I will tell you why. There has been a trend lately for restaurants to use it to get me to buy it, then get there and realize that the special had to be reserved in advance. I used to not have to read the obscure fine print and I’ve gone to a couple places now only to find out that they wouldn’t honor the voucher for some obscure reason.

I like the app overall it gives me good ideas for things to do around the city that are affordable or on sale which is nice cause I’m always on a budget. Some of the places are a little sketchy so I would just do my reviews before hand using Yelp and Google but I found a few nice places using this app. I would recommend using for fun stuff around nyc
