It’s Okay, But Needs Improvement ...

... Calls are often choppy sounding and if you’re on a call with another call coming in, the 2nd incoming call would go directly to voicemail w/o having the option of answering. Additionally and most of the time the calls will only ring once or maybe even one-half a ring and then go to voicemail. Not nearly enough time for someone who is working at something else to have time enough to answer! I believe if these problems could be improved or even all together alleviated this would make the Office@Hand app one of the very best secondary line apps available on the market today.

I works, but…

This is ATTOfficeHand that we, my coworkers and I, used while working remotely for almost two years. We still use it back in the office, mainly for texting while coordinating work and it does what is supposed to do. My request to the developers, if I may, would be to resize the texting field line of the interface which currently allows for the window to show previous texts on about 92% of the vertical window space and only about 8% for typing a new text! 😳 Could we make it more like 60/40 ratio? I keep my app up on my screen about 2 inches wide horizontally and top to bottom vertically. I work mainly with graphics software and screen sqft is at a premium. Just give the user the ability to resize that texting line field to suit individual needs. Thank you.

On phone

Have been using ATTOfficeHand for over a year I think. First time I could see who was all on the phone. Then got an update and lost that part. Then another update and it came back. Now another update and I have lost it again. I hoping I am not missing a setting someplace. It is really helpful to see who is on their phone while I am traveling.

Great App

I really enjoy ATTOfficeHand. It’s great to be able to use my personal phone, but have a separate work number without having another device. Only suggestions I would provide to AT&T/RingCentral would be the SMS experience and messages. Feel like each message takes up a ton of room. Looks out of date, especially with the rest of ATTOfficeHand being really good. On messages, it would be nice to have some sort of read identifier once the person I message has looked it or if I’ve mentioned someone on a team.

It keeps getting better

Thank you for listening to feedback and updating ATTOfficeHand! Now I’m able to customize my tabs, send group messages, send and receive picture messages, and more! Please continue to keep this service as it is greatly useful for businesses! I have shared with many others to jump on this service and I’m glad that ATTOfficeHand is getting the attention it needs. Thank you!

Functional but disappointing

Got prompted To review, so basically I was using the latest version of RingCentral through my nonprofit. We have decided to try the Office@Hand app, however it’s features are lacking some of the Abilities that ring central had incorporated into their app. Feels like we jumped back in time using older software. Still working bugs out but cannot delete individual calls ... For example must clear the entire call log. So far quite buggy with just basic set up of how to dial out and what phone number shows up when I’m dialing out. Hopefully it will smooth out but has been a rough start

Office NOT at Hand

Do not use ATTOfficeHand or Office@Hand if you are a business and want to use this for your cell phone use. I found out the hard way! The customer service is horrible and there’s so many levels that you will need to talk to. You will spend hours and hours talking to tech service to help you figure this out and there’s no instructions about it so I hope no one ever talks you into using this.
Even when I tried to cancel this service they screwed that up! So I had to have my account re-opened and they had to do another credit check to reopen my account so that I could go ahead and close it in Port my number back. What a nightmare! Beware!!!

New update is horrible!!!

Office at hand was working fine for me until recently (yesterday).. I forgot to turn off automatic app updates on my phone so it updated. I wish I could go back... This newest update has suddenly made all my calls spotty and staticky. It’s so bad, I have to call people back from my own personal cell. What’s the point of having a work phone with work app if it doesn’t work?! I know it’s not my phone hardware itself either because all my calls were just fine before. Please fix this developers!!

Cannot keep up

I will give it to the companies involved, this is a massive undertaking to have the available features- I can appreciate that for sure. The major upset is that the execution and application is always a miss. I am not exaggerating when I say at least once a week, we experience problems because ATTOfficeHand is not compatible with system updates or vice versa, or numbers don’t link correctly, or setting up voicemails doesn’t work, or calls keep dropping, or, or, or..... I wish the system was more seamless but for now we are trudging thru as best we can.

Good for receiving messages, not good for receiving/making calls

It has been great to receive messages and be able to text clients through ATTOfficeHand....but when the calls are constantly garbled and interrupted by other calls coming in...then it is embarrassing and makes us look cheap and unprofessional because our phone system doesn’t work half the time. I end up using my personal phone as well, so ATTOfficeHand is basically good for taking messages like a virtual secretary.

Poor performance

Be prepared for scam calls and texts.
This morning I had to “sign in”. Appears they have performed a maintenance; however, once signed in, waiting for email to verify my identity, ATTOfficeHand has now froze up.
Poor performance and technical function for AT&T.
I am hoping ATTOfficeHand improves because the purpose for IS a good idea and is needed for people working “out of the office”. It enables one to stay connected without having to carry multiple phones.

Truly Dislike This Platform

Maybe it works when you live at a desk, but is klunky for mobile use. The configuration is not intuitive. The contact storage is terrible and feeds my iPhone based contacts countless duplicates. Caller ID is not transparent. I do not need this much complexity to receive or answer a phone call. We used this to manage a virtual office number, but it’s so klunky and ineffective, I just give clients my direct cell phone number. I would not recommend ATTOfficeHand to anyone, and frequently gripe about its shortcomings to our corporate administrators.

Just 1 (particularly problematic) bug

v2.1.35 looks to have solved several issues our business (about 70 Office@Hand phones) had been having.

I would give ATTOfficeHand 5 stars, but we continue to have problems with the phones in a call queue continuing to ring, after one phone has answered the incoming call already.

We’ve ruled out new calls coming into the queue as the problem, so as far as we can tell, there is still an ongoing bug with the cloud PBX not recognizing that 1 phone in a queue has already answered the incoming call.

Once Office@Hand can gets this bug fixed, I’ll definitely give 5 stars, as we love everts else about it!

Call Quality

There a times when Ivan hear the person on the other line but they cannot hear me. Makes it difficult to communicate when I have good internet service.

Great in theory

ATTOfficeHand has been nothing but trouble since I installed it. Our business runs on sending pictures of docs back and forth and even though ATTOfficeHand promises to allow that, I've never had a picture come through. I ended up having to start using my personal phone number and never use ATTOfficeHand because of the trouble it causes. I can't answer a call until I deny the first screen and accept the second one. What is that about?? Super frustrating. DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON ATTOfficeHand!

My desk phone no longer rings

Downloaded ATTOfficeHand to stop receiving spam text messages.
Now my desk phone will not ring. I have deleted ATTOfficeHand , and still will not ring.
Downloaded app again so at least I can get my calls. Now rings for a second and will not connect when I try to answer.
Called to get help, sounded like there was a loud tv in the back ground and baby crying.
Was accidentally hung up on. Ridiculously frustrating.

Required to use it

I have to use ATTOfficeHand for my work phone extension, but it's easier to just use my actual cell phone most days. Being able to transfer is nice, but I can't warm transfer from ATTOfficeHand . Also, no one can hear me when I use it have the time. I find myswlf switching to my cell phone most days. If I didn't have to use ATTOfficeHand for my work I would delete it.

Virtual Learning

I have been using the application for virtual learning and have had very few hiccups. User must have up to date browsers but the quality of the stream was excellent!

Horrible app.

Constant dropped calls. Constant calls that never actually ring to alert me. I only know that someone just tried to call me when I see the missed call notification which I have to actually go into that portion of ATTOfficeHand to see. Doesn’t integrate with InnoCaption which is a necessity for me as a deaf person. Horrible experience overall.

Before latest upgrade was great

I loved the previous version of ATTOfficeHand. It was straightforward, intuitive and it just worked. Now, evening finding the place to access a conference call is like a secret. The old version had a tab for that—called conference. I don’t think this is an improvement. Staff are asking me how to use it. Never with the previous version.

RingCentral ATT O&H is Awesome

The best Voip system ever. It delivers in the flexiblity of on the go offices. Whether you are in the office using the desktop or out in the road using your cell phone to do business, ATTOfficeHand delivers! I wish ATT would not try to do there new adaptation of this system. Anyways RingCentral ATT O&H is the greatest!

Works as expected!

Been using since March 2019! Overall it’s does what they say it is supposed to do. When there is static it’s the weather or Internet... so I give it a 4 overall!

Calls drop if you lock your iPhone

I have been on several calls where I hit the lock button on my iPhone and calls drop.

Worst

I only have this application because my business is mobile, but the application, phone system and customer service is the worst. It takes forever to get phone phone support when you need it so one chooses not to waste time and deal with the many shortages this service has.

By

A big fat zero.

This is absolutely the most worthless phone system there could be, as soon as I get the time I’ll have to go to the att store and get rid of this stupid app. I just hope I’ll be able to keep this number since it’s already in ad print. I just wish I could give it zero stars. A big fat 0.

Staticky/ dropped calls

I like being able to screen my callers but when ever I make/receive calls it’s very staticky and my calls drop.

Absolutely terrible customer service - the worst. I have spent hours trying to determine what my monthly bill is and how to pay it. I've been transferred and provided various numbers to call, still impossible to get an answer from customer service. Also, you cannot link the AT&T internet account to the Office@Hand account. Stay away from this service.

leta   3 years ago

have only had this service 1 week and already decided to cancel. we set up the online portal but there is no way to add a credit card for billing- they make you call a support phone. What that # might be is a big mystery which AT&T refuses to share. I am not overestimating when I explain that I've spent 4 days and just today (5 hours) on the phone trying to get a CORRECT number to call. I finally just emailed the account rep and told her to deal with it. AT&T should be reported to the authorities
