Newer version is a pain to use compared to the earlier ones. Weather forecast is hard to pull up, have to go to the site instead of using app. Miss the old version that worked.
It is fine if you want to read a snippet of the article or watch the vid (if there is one). I'm not going to waste time taking a survey to read the whole thing, if I wanted to take surveys I'd get a survey app. The website is no better.
I like KMTV3NewsNowOmaha functions...they work well...pictures could be clearer. But my biggest problem is that the content is rarely updated and there is little diversity in stories from day to day. I use the other Omaha stations more frequently for that reason.
KMTV3NewsNowOmaha works fine but they never update their news stories as often as they should
I gave it a 3 rating because until recently the news didn't get updated and would be the same or not even carry some of the top stories. Lately it is doing much better and seems to update more even on weekends.
KMTV3NewsNowOmaha gives current weather for my location within Omaha metro, which was main concern. But their presentations on news is not always current. Don't like the layout, too scattered.
If being current with the latest news is important for you then go with the WOWT or KETV apps for local Omaha news. KMTV3NewsNowOmaha is OK as as a third choice. Breaking news appears to arrive a bit slower.
KMTV3NewsNowOmaha is direct and uncluttered, which I like. The sports page has no Huskers sub-page, which is glaring in its absence.
Now the people who created KMTV3NewsNowOmaha can brag that they have a 5-star app.

Excellent app. Easy to use. Works reliably. Breaking news is usually important (unlike many news apps). Lets me pay a reasonable fee to avoid ads. I wish all aps worked as well as this one. I have deleted the other local TV apps.

Easy user interface and nice layout. I just moved to Omaha and this was exactly what I needed for local news!!
The live streaming is a really nice feature, no other Omaha station streams their newscasts live on an app. Makes it really easy to get news on the go.
The combination of features and the current status of the video and stories makes this a very nice app.
I have a couple local news apps downloaded and this is definitely my go to app. By far the easiest to use and read, and they are usually first with breaking news.
