It’s the best of the category but has a couple of frustrating weaknesses. Whenever ATPWTALive is “paused” (I open another app, I get a text or call, etc.) it closes the network connection for ATPWTALive, requiring a restart. Very irritating since I tend to want to keep ATPWTALive open in the background to monitor matches in progress. My other beef is the apparently random nature of which tournaments are covered. Some relatively large tournaments just aren’t listed (this week there’s an American tournament that’s an ATP 250 event - why isn’t it there??). But as mentioned above, even with the flaws, it’s better than the alternatives for monitoring tennis scores.

The content is excellent. However, it does not fill the screen of an iPhone 11 Pro Max just as it did not fill the screen of the XS Max, leaving unused space at top and bottom. It would also be nice if there was an iPad version. I have it installed on my iPad; however, since it is only designed for iPhone, it’s displayed in that annoying format where it’s either tiny in the middle of the screen or you expand it but still have vast empty spaces on left and right.

Overall it’s a fairly reliable app, with decent response time.

However, it would be nice to revise the Schedule to include “my time” as well as the local match time. I shouldn’t have to go to Google to get it. Actually, computing devices are quite efficient at performing these type of calculations.

Secondly, “career prize money” would be useful under Rankings detail. After all, it is provided under Schedule/Bios, so the data already exists. Again, I find myself going to Google to find it. Why???

I love ATPWTALive. It's super simple and easy to use. I mostly look at the draws for tournaments as opposed to using the live scoring and completed matches feature.

Two problems: it doesn't include grand slams. I can get over that. My biggest issue is that the pictures for players pages are so horrible. I don't even know where they are getting so many sub par photos. It's kind of a silly nitpicking thing but they are honestly terrible.

Great app no complaints at all, it’s really appreciated and used frequently.

Just wanting to know if there was a way I could change the settings so when I choose the schedule tab for matches for the next day it shows the time in my own time zone (central). As 4pm in Australia is like 11pm in Texas. Just a minor complaint but not really. Thanks y’all.

I live the details and information I can get from ATPWTALive. I’ve had it over two years and no troubles till recently. ATPWTALive won’t stay open it crashes constantly . I’ve deleted it and RE download it many times . I’ve written to Apple no good help. I’ve written to the developer no response . Any help out there ?

I didn't really realize it until today, when I opened ATPWTALive to check when the Citi Open in Washington was starting, but this is the only app that I’ve had on my phone for an extended period of time (almost 7 years now) that I’ve had ZERO problems with. It is the PERFECT app for the world of tennis. Fast, reliable, and constantly updated with accurate tournament and player information. Very clear and easy to use user-interface as well. Other apps of all types need to learn how to make an app by using and observing ATPWTALive.

Just a couple small but very picky suggestions, maybe the developers should add sections in the player bios for “total career earnings”, “player ranking history”, and a brief list of “tournaments won and finals played”? I often find myself wondering these things about players, as these are two stats that tell you a lot about a player’s career, and I usually go to Wikipedia to check. It would be cool to see that in ATPWTALive! ATPWTALive would truly be my one-stop-for-all-things-Tennis if it added these things. Even if it doesn’t add these things it’s still a 5/5 Star app that I’m going to use for the rest of my life!

As a tennis app, it is probably the best out there. I wish it included the grand slams (but it can't I guess due to contractual issues, those not being ATP but ITF tournaments), or that the grand slams apps worked anywhere near as good as this.
But beyond tennis, this is app is a lesson in how to do an app. It is fast, intuitive, gives you all the information it is supposed to, navigation is easy, ... and it does all that in under 10MB! I've seen some apps that have absolutely no business taking the space they do (I'm looking at you Twitter), and is probably symptomatic of poor design or programming. Apple should include this as an example on their app development tutorials.

One of the great features of ATPWTALive is that the developer rarely makes changes/updates which means the user has a predictable user friendly experience. This is unlike other apps where one must relearn where data is hidden every couple of weeks. I don’t waste my time with those apps. Which brings me to the latest (July 2020) update to rankings. I updated but now do not see where rankings are located. Did ATPWTALive completely delete rankings?

I look at ATPWTALive. Several times a day to check scores, to see which matches are exciting and worth watching on tennis channel. I follow my favorite players on ATPWTALive constantly! You can see real time scores, you look at the draws to see who your favorites will be playing! You can look up the daily schedules then plan your life around them!!! LOL! 🎾🏆 By far my favorite tennis app and my most used app. Period.

This is a fantastic app. I check it every day to get all information about current tournaments, including draws, live scores, and schedules.

One minor suggestion: in the rankings section, it would be nice to have a movement indicator, with an up or down arrow and how many spots a player's rank changed in the last week. Just a little thing that would improve the user experience.

I wish I discovered this a long time ago. I've been keeping track of the minor tournaments on the WTAtennis website. ATPWTALive is MUCH easier to use and is usually more updated than the website itself. Has all the scores, draws, schedules/order of plays for all major and minor tournaments. Now we just need an app for WTA TV.

ATPWTALive is by far the best tennis app available. In less than five minutes I can absorb the results of every ATP/WTA match that day. I rarely check match details but they are there for stat hunters who want them. I don’t mind the lack of Grand Slam info as ATPWTALive provides the link to the official site for each slam. Keep ATPWTALive simple and complete for us tennis fans.

I look at this all the time for draws, prize money, and points for tournaments. I also like the rankings tab. It would be great if each player’s profile had the breakdown of where and when they got their points over the past year so that we could see when points need to be defended.

Would really like have player notifications for favorite players and/or be able to navigate directly to a favorites page for quick results of the players I care most about.

Otherwise, great app. Love it’s simplicity and yet effective delivery of tennis results. Really great.
