- Uses robo-advisor, so users cannot pick their own funds

- Cannot compare returns to other investments without a long-term account

- App keeps removing information, such as dollar and % gains for tax coordinated accounts

- Cannot make manual updates to 401k or add other accounts from the app

- Minimum investment amount is $10, cannot add less than that

- App lacks information, such as allocation of money within different funds

- Only allows linking one bank account at a time for auto transfers

- Allocation algorithm may not be as good as claimed, as some users have beaten their returns by double digits.

I just tried to start investing with Betterment but after putting in all my information it said there is an “unknown error” and isn’t letting me continue to start investing.
