Thank you for the reply.

Since leaving my updated review about this problem I have discovered that sometimes opening and closing LunaSolCal is enough the restore notifications. However when that fails, turning off the alarm in question, turning it back on, re-selecting both the time and the tone restores notification mode.

I do not use “do not disturb” mode, so that isn’t the problem here. My other apps consistently send notifications so I don’t think it’s a problem with the settings or iPhone. It seems that when I mute a notification while the alarm is going off LunaSolCal turns off future notifications. I haven’t tested this, it may only be an annoying coincidence. I gave back 2 stars because of your quick reply And I figured out how to fix it.

Alarms for sunrise and sunset no longer work. I have turned them off and back on, adjusted them (to go off one minute before the event, etc.) and changed the alarm sound; nothing works. Alarms still go off for moon rise and moon set, solar noon, and the equinoxes so I don’t think it is my iPhone being squirrelly.
Unfortunately, the sunrise and sunset alarms are most important alarms. Not having them is a huge disappointment.

This is a fantastic app — as it always has been — it works very well with the latest iPhone OS. I especially like the customizable alarms which you can set for any number of celestial events.
Keep up the good work guys!

...in landscape orientation and when “adding a place” through finding on map. App crashes if “layer select” on bottom right of map is used. Seems there is issue with the interface between your app and the iOS map app.
...in portrait orientation attempting to adjust map settings/layers it closes the map...not the whole app like in landscape. Hope this helps you fix issue.

The notifications do not work very well. Let's say I create one for sunset, and then when sunset rolls around, it doesn't go off. But for the most part LunaSolCal is really good.

All one needs to know about the sun and moon. Easy to understand.

Has all the info I was looking for and then some. Highly recommended.

Love LunaSolCal , have been using it for years. Any chance you might add a lockscreen widget?

I think LunaSolCal is fantastic, awesome, great, I can’t say enough about it. It’s easy to use self explanatory anyone can use it. It’s not rocket science. It’s great

Love LunaSolCal . Use it all the time while camping or traveling to get local sun/moon time schedule. Like all the time differentials from day to day.

I use LunaSolCal in so many ways, for planning events, photography, and nearly everyday, too.

Five stars for: 1. Relevant data; 2. Retrievabilty; 3. Simultaneous multiple locations; and, 4. ClArity.

Wonderful data that’s easily accessible.

A lot of work went into LunaSolCal and you can really tell. There is a wealth of information under your finger tips.

LunaSolCal is very easy to use. The information allows me to plan my night photography. With the times and dates of the moon and sun, I can plan my night photography for taking photigraphs of the milkyway, planet alignments and deep space photography of
Planets and nebulae. It leaves the guessing as to when I vac be there to capture the best photos.

Handy app to follow the sun and moon when you don’t have a telescope. Or when you want to stay in touch with the timing of the spheres.

Enough said. I can plan trips based off the sun, and moon over a year in advance. I used multiple apps, but this is the easiest, and always accurate.

I use LunaSolCal ALL the time to set appointments for my photography sessions months in advance based on the sunset time LunaSolCal provides. I also use it to know when the moon will be in my landscape photographs.

Handiest app there is for doing funky things like finding when and where you’ll see a crescent moon bottomed out straight down or close to straight down.

Everything you want and more. The info is fantastic, the format easy to navigate, and the developers are smart enough not to mess with it.

Biblical lunar calendar instead of the solar calendar. The sun give us the year when it begins IN SPRING and summer and when the year is ending with AUTUMN and winter. The lunar months in a year starting with the FIRST new moon after spring equinox of 29 days or 30 days. THIS CALENDAR HELP ME KNOW AND UNDERSTAND TIME. Thanks

Alarms not always work. Had this problem before. Have to turn alarms on and off, restart device, make sure is updated, etc, etc. Bottomline, it’s too buggy and too “high maintenance”. Used to be great the first few years; not anymore. Cannot recommend.

A fairly accurate app which is user friendly.
