Any time I try to upload files Egnyte takes 10 minutes to prepare then every single file has an upload error. Then I have to go through and do each file manually but Egnyte always crashes in the middle of it and never works again. Then I have to delete it and start all over again. Fix Egnyte and add a mass select for files that fail to upload.

I once touted Egnyte as a must have for small businesses, but it’s only current worth is to recommend it to your competitors so they spend valuable resources working with this app tech support.

Egnyte and its “upgrades” have degraded significantly over the 2 yrs we’ve been customers. I’m currently traveling, I can’t get to Wi-Fi for my laptop, my app is frozen updating the file server (this app side issue), and I have a client requesting information I can’t get to yet. I’ve deleted and reinstalled Egnyte to no avail. I’ve spoken to tech support, they just pushed it up (or down) the chain of command. 6 hrs and no update, no response. He’ll, if it’s something I’ve done, I’ll give a glowing review, but how do I know when there is no communication. If you don’t need the mobile app, the desktop version works about 95% of the time and I can recommend it, but proceed with caution. You’ve been warned. 2 stars because of desktop.

I've been using this app since I was the President and CEO of a public company where I had to have an elevated level of security, control, and yet still have ease of access anywhere in the world. this app has been providing that to me for over eight years, even as I transitioned and started my own private companies. I’ve used Dropbox, Box and this app for work across the last 12 years and find the this app app to be easy to use, intuitive and has all the functionality that I expect. I’m filing docs from my phone, accessing them from the iPad and laptop, or going the opposite direction and don’t remember a single problem with Egnyte . Be sure you download and install the laptop-sync app on your laptop to get full cloud-sync functionality.

I converted one of my church clients to this app after the onsite file server died. We couldn’t be happier. I only have one wish... As the admin, I use the this app iOS app a lot for user permissions on folders and files. But there is currently no way to add, remove, or edit users or user groups within Egnyte . This is my one wish upon a star...

this app just works. It’s by far the fastest way to create and find documents. It’s also a convenient way to collaborate with others when you need to definitively identify the correct file version.

As a user I know exactly who has access to my files and easily revoke or change access.

Last: the speed. My clients are surprised how quickly they can send us files that are sometimes > 10GB.

Can not recommend it enough.

Was a Box user for many years but this app is absolutely the best, most seamless team storage system. Much stronger on the enterprise security front and the way the file structure mirrors the Window environment is perfect. Don’t know what else to say except you should try it.

I am in a taxi in China. I need to see a file. I open the this app app on my iPad, a few clicks, and I have the file. I don’t expect to able to replace my laptop with an iPad, I just want to use the tablet like this. It worked. I sent an answer to my chinese factory, and they kept working - no delays.

this app is user friendly and intuitive. I use it for all my document management and it is a relief to know all my docs are saved in the “cloud”.

I also use this app for document production. So easy to make a file and share it with opposing counsel.

Adopted this platform when looking for flexibility in a cloud based file server to work with my File server. Decided on this app and ReadyNas, couldn’t be happier. Apps are great, it’s intuitive, permissions a breeze. Called support a few times, each time they have been very knowledgeable and willing to assist.

I’ve been working with Egnyte for a few months now. I love the work offline features due to internet accessibility in some of my locations. It is easy to post documents for senior leadership to review. The ability to have multiple folders and categories ensures you stay organized.

I’ve been viewing a set of prints for a new building for 4 months from my office. I just added a iPad Pro so I can be effective away from the office and still have access to our prints.

The program loaded within a minute and allowed me intuitive access without ever reading a manual. Best install and ease of use I’ve ever had. 5 Stars.

I LOVE Egnyte! I am often at job sites or in the field and need to access the shared files on my company server... it’s a snap to use and saves tons of time! I used to print documents or load them onto a laptop or IPad... now I know how to access my files from anywhere I get cell service. It’s also the easiest way to dump a bunch of field photos right into a projects e-folder. It’s brilliant!!!

I am a small business user and this app has grown along with me. I am especially impressed with customer support, the tutorials are good and getting better, but when I post a questionI usually get a call back within a few hours. A rarity these days! Only one wish - that this app would partner with more apps so I could “snap to” or “save to” just like Dropbox etc.

this app makes my SOHO business work seamlessly between multiple locations. Being able to upload and access files from all my locations and the mobile platforms is key. Sharing files and folders with third parties is also a breeze. I am using it much more than I do several other available cloud storage tools because it is so well deployed.

A good app for most of the time, but the mobile app doesn’t work as well as it should. I marked several items for offline accessibility, but none of them would open on the airplane when not connected to the internet. Very disappointing.

Would also like a search function so I could search for the files I am looking for. Even searching within a folder would be helpfu.

The functionality of the product is perfect. It couldn’t be any better. I seamlessly move from one device to another. The interoperability is key. Unfortunately the last update to the Windows client is glitchy and frequently loses connection. Fix it and you shall see stars!

August, 2020: Back to being brilliant!! I’m not sure what they did to fix it, but all seems stabile and reliable now.
