An has-been app/buyer beware
I once touted this app as a must have for small businesses, but it’s only current worth is to recommend it to your competitors so they spend valuable resources working with Egnyte tech support. The app and its “upgrades” have degraded significantly over the 2 yrs we’ve been customers. I’m currently traveling, I can’t get to Wi-Fi for my laptop, my app is frozen updating the file server (Egnyte side issue), and I have a client requesting information I can’t get to yet. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app to no avail. I’ve spoken to tech support, they just pushed it up (or down) the chain of command. 6 hrs and no update, no response. He’ll, if it’s something I’ve done, I’ll give a glowing review, but how do I know when there is no communication. If you don’t need the mobile app, the desktop version works about 95% of the time and I can recommend it, but proceed with caution. You’ve been warned. 2 stars because of desktop.

Useless App
Any time I try to upload files the app takes 10 minutes to prepare then every single file has an upload error. Then I have to go through and do each file manually but the app always crashes in the middle of it and never works again. Then I have to delete it and start all over again. Fix this app and add a mass select for files that fail to upload.

I wouldn't work without it!!
I've been using Egnyte since I was the President and CEO of a public company where I had to have an elevated level of security, control, and yet still have ease of access anywhere in the world. Egnyte has been providing that to me for over eight years, even as I transitioned and started my own private companies. There isn't a chance in the world I would stop! They just keep getting better and better!! Thanks Egnyte!! Cheers, Dr. Bob
