- Casts without the picture, just the sound

- Volume control displays every 30 seconds, and readjusts to a totally random number

Syfy app not loading The Ark episodes on my TV with Firestick. I was able to watch episodes 1 - 4, then yesterday, I tried to watch episode 5. The title splash screen comes up and the three dots alternate but the show never starts. I tried uninstalling, then reinstalling the app on my firestick. Rebooted, cleared the apps cache. Still no-go. 2 March, 2023. Anything else I can try?

I downloaded the SyFy app to my samsung smart tv. When I enable the app to watch a program, the screen just goes black. There is nothing I can do or press, all I can do is go back to the tvs home page. Then I downloaded the app to my android tablet and the same thing would happen. When touching on the SyFy app, the screem just goes black. Can you please help me with this problem. Thank You.

How to fix SYFY app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the SYFY app on iPhone
Update SYFY app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall SYFY iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix SYFY on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve SYFY network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

SYFY Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix SYFY not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the SYFY App
1. On android, goto Settings » SYFY » click [Force Stop]

Update SYFY to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear SYFY App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » SYFY » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart SYFY.

Fix SYFY unable to contact server/ SYFY internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click SYFY » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto SYFY » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch SYFY
