For an app that you have to pay for I expect it to actually work when I need to use it but it just flashes when I click on it and goes back to my home screen

He is correct. Your app does not say in app purchase. Maybe it’s you people who need to figure it out. Definitely tricked into downloading. Only download if your willing to spend money people. Other than that. Don’t bother.

So i go to download it because it does t advertise they charge… they show it as free… waste my time waiting on download of f of hot spot go to use it and they want money. What losers. Look if your product is so good. You wont need to trick people into downloading it, they will use it find its great and purchase it. Or you could just put a price tag on it and be truthful. But no, they need to trick you cause your so stupid you don't know a good thing when you see it so they have to trick us. I get so fed up with this kind of stupidity.

I love MaterialEstimatorCalculator however recently this has been a major impact on my business as a contractor and giving it a ONE STAR and MaterialEstimatorCalculator does not function!!! MaterialEstimatorCalculator will not open PERIOD! I’ve rebooted my phone and nothing, I click the icon and it starts to open then dies. I’ve left a email to support and nothing. It’s a calculator app not a VR or AR app that changes everyday it should function. So because of this I’m looking for other options and you should too!

Typical scummy business tactic. You can have our services for free I promise, just put your credit card number in so we can start charging you next week without you knowing.

I’ve had MaterialEstimatorCalculator for years, it works great to estimate materials, but the new update made it so if you’re not connected to internet, MaterialEstimatorCalculator just closes. Un-usable from remote job sites! I have the old school calculator that I bought from Home Depot 10 years ago. Guess I’ll go back to that and delete MaterialEstimatorCalculator.
It’s a calculator! Why does it need internet connection to work?! Ridiculous.

Just so everyone knows you have to pay to even open MaterialEstimatorCalculator I know the developer has it listed as free but it absolutely is not. In app purchases are on a lot of free apps which you can refuse but still use MaterialEstimatorCalculator . You cannot even open MaterialEstimatorCalculator without paying I’m sure it’s a great construction tool app but people looking for a free one this is not it

The old version was so much better. This new update I was forced to have started today. I like the old layout much better. More screen area and buttons were larger. Bad update.

MaterialEstimatorCalculator isn’t bad, it just doesn’t do as much as I thought it would. And, although the price is low, I still find it idiotic to pay a subscription for this type of app. If I purchased the real physical calculator, it wouldn’t even need a subscription.
I already use another app that allows me to do a lot more than this one and for a one time payment.

It’s a fantastic calculator for my needs and I use it constantly.

That said, other calculators in the Calculated Industries family can switch their orientation to landscape mode (on the iPad), this one doesn’t. It only has the one position, not even the reverse portrait mode (which would be useful on all devices). It’s a really useful feature that should make its way to this calculator.

Calculated Industries has the best construction calculators on the market. I’ve had their actual calculator for years (before smartphones), and got MaterialEstimatorCalculator for convenience sake. Same experience with app as with the calculator. Customer service is top notch as well. They won’t leave you hanging if you have a problem.

Must have calculator… worth every penny to me. Put in a tip jar and I would buy you a coffee every now and again.

I love MaterialEstimatorCalculator so much…… buuuut I wish you would not turn keyboard clicks back on every time it updates. Keep up the good work!

Have carried this on my phone for years. One of the most used and appreciated app I have. Also have the actual calculator.

Having MaterialEstimatorCalculator on my phone makes information readily available at all times. I use it 3 to 4 times a day.

Takes a little getting to know how it works but after one proposal I can always tell this is exactly what I needed and didn’t even realize existed.

This is very helpful in my line of work and I am very thankful because it makes my job easier.
