So basically I was watching jinn on Netflix and there was this one song Mira was listening to. The song was only about 4 seconds long so I was skeptical that this would work since I already tried this with other music websites/apps and got to results. In 2 SECONDS it identified the song and it was right! I didn’t even think it would work since the song was in Arabic but I’m really grateful you made this. I definitely recommend this for anybody because I spent so long trying to find this awesome song. Also it gave me a whole bunch of information about the song and it was easy to use. All I had to do was press the button and it did the rest for me. It gave me the artist, year, where to find the song, the album, and fun facts about the song. I hope MusicID becomes really popular and if you see this, thank you for your hard work 😄😄😄❣️

Lately it don’t ID almost anything. It’s either 1 star or 5. No in between. It works or it don’t work. Well it’s not working quite so well this past year. Every time ya update it, it just gets worse. I don’t give a hollaring hoot about what show it was in or more info about the artist, I just want it to identify a song like it was meant to do. This is the reason I stopped using sound hound. They couldn’t get a song name and then had the balls to charge after 5 free id’s. I’d never pay for MusicID if ya tried to charge for it. It don’t even work right for free like it use to. Probably gonna delete this one too. Once an app goes bad, they never fix without asking for money. So it looks like the good years with MusicID is about done. Like the old saying goes “if it ain’t broken, don’t fix it”

When MusicID came out a long time ago you had to pay for it. Which I did. It WAS a great app. But then the developer changed everything. MusicID used to be called “Music ID With Lyrics” and you had to pay for it. MusicID. Used to offer you lyrics to most songs. Now it is free and is not as good and no longer offers lyrics at all. The developer it seems has taken the paying customers for a ride. Took our money, took our app, and offered us a free piece of crap. To the developer: I do not know what is going on but please bring back the great app you once offered your paying customers. It’s like you have abandoned us. If you care at all please bring it back. It can’t be that hard to do.

I had not used MusicID in a while and when I needed to use it I found it did not work. I searched for an app to replace it and found a newer version of the same app. I don’t know why it just didn’t update the old one but the new version works very well just like the old one did although a little different but I don’t mind. It’s still simple for me and does everything I need it to do. I’m using the iPhone XR if that makes a difference.

What more is there to say? I tried several different songs. I tried singing, playing them from a recording, humming (and I CAN carry a tune). I tried older and more recent stuff. Nothing match correctly. I tried the same song 5 or 6 times and it gave me a different match every time (though to be fair, maybe that's how is supposed to work if you play the same song again -- maybe it's supposed to realize that you're trying again because it wasn't a match...) Anyway, just didn't work for me at all.

This has been MusicID that I swore by when it came to me identifying music. MusicID even kept a running tab of my history. Then it just slowed down, taking too long to identify the song & eventually stopped responding & would not even pick up any songs; instead just listen continuously. I hoped that the creators would get enough complaints to just fix MusicID , but it has been more than 2 months now.

Oh yeah sure it’s worth it if you LOVE RESTARTING YOUR PHONE EVERY SINGLE OTHER SONG YOU ARE “TRYING” TO IDENTIFY!!!!! NO KIDDING....I literally have to shut my phone down and turn it back on if I want to LISTEN TO TWO SONGS IN A ROW....Or like I said TRY two identify two songs in a row AND as long as it takes and if you’re listening to a song on the radio it’s already done playing by the time thisAPP DOES IDENTIFY IT OR DOESN’T FOR THAT MATTER!!!!!!!! ALSO..... every single time there’s an update and every single time I update it.....NEVER WORKS....STILL THE SAME ISSUE FOR YEEEARS!!!!!😡😡😡

I’ve had MusicID for 6+ years and it worked really well. Then last year the original app no longer worked so I paid for/down loaded the new version. It’s really bad, not only does it not recognize music in the US music domain, it locks up. I have to close MusicID and reopen, which it works for one song then the alga rhythm gets locked and doesn’t recognize new songs. So disappointing, do not download this and look for other options.

MusicID started out really well years ago. It’s like nobody maintains it no more. MusicID freezes all the time. You have to turn your phone completely off to identify a song. By that time the song is over. Now the last few times that does not even work. Don’t waste your time money or effort. I have reached out several times to help them because they used to be good. Now you get no response and nothing gets done.

Thanks a lot this app. Now that I had to download this version I have lost all my saved songs for the previous version. There isn't anywhere to log in to maybe find them. Now I have to start over and can't remember what I had saved on the other version. Thanks allot to Apple also.

MusicID rarely works unless it is a 100% mainstream song, the majority of the time it does not find anything and just says try again. It is also buggy, sometimes I open MusicID and hit identify and it doesn’t detect and sound so I have to close MusicID then open it up again... missed out on finding the names of many song i have heard in the radio because it simply does not work... going to go with some other options and see the difference..

I had the previous version and after updating to the new iOS MusicID wouldn’t open. Said developer needed to update. Disappointed that I can’t open it to get to my list of songs. Was made to download a new app and don’t have access to the songs on my list. Too bad they don’t transfer over. Please update the old app so I can at least have time to get my list of songs.

I have used and loved MusicID for years! That’s why I gave it four stars. But lately it doesn’t seem to want to identify the music it just keeps saying trying again trying again....I have had to switch to asking Siri what music is playing.

I’ve tried so many different music identifying apps and none of them could identify my song. Finally I found Music ID and it got it the first time! Thank you so much!!!!!

MusicID has been sent off to the island of deserted apps. No updates in over a year. No support for the new family of iPhone X devices.

Seems like with a little maintenance MusicID could be great again.

Although outdated, still works some of the time.

You killed a great app and I lost hundreds of songs!
I have to completely close out MusicID between every song and it still only works 2-3 times out of 10.
After all the grief MusicID has caused I wouldn’t use it now or in the future even if they make it perfect.
Such a waste!

Just got this because I have chemobrain and can never remember titles. First use worked perfectly...until I tried to exit. It kept glitching, freezing, defying every effort. Finally had to uninstall to get out of the musical madness vortex.

When MusicID works it’s nice. But it freezes up often. If you want it to work again you have to restart you phone. Seems the developers have given up on MusicID. As have I!

Don't bother expecting this to work for you when you need it 😡 I'm saving you time and frustration... I had the original app but got changed without notice a month ago lost my profile and music history. Now this piece of 💩 is worthless. NEVER MIND THAT THEY TOOK MY MONEY SINCE I HAD THE PAID VERSION

Doesn’t start out good. First two tracks I tried this on came up empty :-) when something finally was found it was not even close. I did not try it on some obscure 13th. Century ballroom music from Farawayistan but two contemporary pop tracks #epicfail #facepalm

Get the songs right I wanted to know the name of a classical song and it took me 3 try’s for it to be the right one 😕

I play a song and it will freeze

Latest update tells me microphone is required and goes to use cellular data when clicked. Even though it's on cannot get past this screen to use app. Disappointed.

MusicID was awesome, it worked so well and then it changed. It recognizes 1/2 the amount of songs it use to. It’s so depressing that developers have to change good working phones & Apps.

It was once an amazing app that could identify any song. Now it's useless... it freezes, it can't hear music (even if you hold it up to the speakers) and it just refuses to work
