In decades I've been paying for my service. I pay promptly and without issue. Over the last couple of weeks, I've reached out, my daughter has reached out for a simple request. My wife and I are both 85 years old. I asked on 5 occasions now, if they could accommodate us and place the paper on our porch. We are afraid of falling and I never thought it would be asking too much. I've been met with nothing, but the paper being thrown out of the car window and landing on the sidewalk. That presents for a dangerous situation. I would've thought you would accommodate this simple request. My address is 2543 Bristol Dr. N. Bellmore. It doesn't matter to me if you've sold a route to an outsider. This is still on you to make sure your long time, dedicated customers are taken care of. Please help us stay safe. Thanks!!
I SIGNED UP FOR SHORT TERM SUBSCRIPTION AND MY EMAI;L IS NOT RECOGNIZED
I asked that my delivery be put on hold while on vacation. The paper was still deliveried, this is the 3rd time I have had this problem
Since the beginning of the year 99% of the time the paper has been late have requested it to be delivered by 6am DURING the week I have called several times and still late PLEASE CONTACT ME TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE

Newsday has a technical error on the pages I try to open
I just restarted my Newsday subscription. I canceled before because people were taking my paper. I restarted it last week and already I am missing a paper today. If the carrier cannot get the paper on my porch or steps, I will be discontinuing my subscription.
I have been trying to submit to the comments section of the Newsday online; I am a current paper subscriber and cannot get past the offer of online access which I obviously do not need.

This is an update to my old review. The App is still truly embarrassing for a newspaper that once was really well written. Typos and stories with wrong facts abound. Stories are left up for days so who knows what’s really “news.” The comments section has yet to comeback — obviously management knows what a leftist rag it is and are scared of being called out. It doesn’t crash regularly like the Newsday app of old, but the paper and app aren’t worth paying for,
iMHO.
Another update - another half -assed excuse for an app. Now the comments section locks up if you try and reply. Plus, the app runs the same inane story for days, like valedictorians of high schools. OMG. Crash after crash, freeze after freeze. Newsday App is horrible and has been for a while. Don't bother.
Constantly logging me out of app!!!

3 or 4 times a week I have to log back in. Today I was reading the digital edition of paper on the Newsday app. I left the app and came back an hour later and I had to log back in. That has to be about 50 times now. I’ve done everything Newsday suggested. Newsday had an update to the app that addressed this problem a while back but still same problem. Fix the flipping app! Of course the rate this app button in settings doesn’t work. Go figure.
Why the media has failed us

From a great paper for decades, it is now a a media outlet that fails to report fairly. It does not matter to what issue is, it’s just openly and unapologetically report the “Newsday one sided “ news. After decades of subscribing to what was one of the nations elite publication, I recently canceled my subscription. I was given the opportunity to recent the subscription on line at no cost. Once again Newsday does this just to pretend to have a higher than actual subscribers. Shame on you Newsday.
