App won't let me change the shelf from Read to one I created. I have a special shelf for the books I've read but do not own. It's called Read Kindle Unlimited Returned. Everything has been fine until yesterday. Now all books are going in Read, even one I borrowed today and haven't read.

How to fix Goodreads app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Goodreads app on iPhone
Update Goodreads app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Goodreads iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Goodreads on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Goodreads network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Goodreads Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Goodreads not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Goodreads App
1. On android, goto Settings » Goodreads » click [Force Stop]

Update Goodreads to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Goodreads App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Goodreads » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Goodreads.

Fix Goodreads unable to contact server/ Goodreads internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Goodreads » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Goodreads » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Goodreads
