Formerly, this was a 5 star product and business firm. Now, my recent order was never received and this app customer service button doesn’t work. No one to email to request a replacement card. My cash will remain useless, sitting in Popcarte, because I no longer trust it.

sometimes that it would be possible to put more than one picture in instead of using Instagram, as well as using Emoijs. But I don't miss the iCard anymore.

Don’t get Popcarte. It’s in France and people I have sent cards to have not gotten them. I put $100 for store credits. Don’t do this either. I’ve contacted them for a refund and have never heard back from them.

This is the worse app I have ever downloaded from Popcarte Store ever!!!!
I could not ever get them to recognize that I live in the US. The very first cards I sent out, the confirmation was in French!!! I contacted their customer service several times. They claimed that the settings on my IPhone for Region must be set to the United States. I already knew that it was. But I still followed the screen shots that they sent and of course my settings were set to US!!!! They could not make this right!! I requested a refund of the credits on my account and I was told it was sent in Euro's!! The bank had to convert the Euros to US dollars. Back and forth to their customer service and nothing ever resolved properly except one card was received that I know of. However you are not allowed to adjust the font size at all. It remains at .8 which is quite small. Their excuse is that they were getting complaints that not all of people's text was coming through on the card. However prior to placing the order, you are allowed to see how the card will look like, in proof reading the card I would think that if text were missing it would be caught there. Don't waist your time on Popcarte, just do not get it. You cannot send a review unless you rate Popcarte . It's not possible to give to zero stars which is what it deserves. A great idea to allow you to create a personalized post card (or greeting card) and have it send to your recipient of choice from your iPhone.

The interface is clean, stepping you through the process in a straightforward manner. Not much to complain about (even the price, as they compare very favorably to buying a card to send without the postage included), but I do have two niggles:

First - from an interface perspective, it's not very intuitive that you should sign your name in landscape mode. Yes, there's a small banner that clues you in, but the fact that the rest of the interface is still in portrait makes for a less obvious interaction design. If you rotate the whole interface, there is no need even or the banner; iPhone users have a conditioned response.

My other thought is that it would be nice to be able to email your creation in addition to being able to send a physical card. It would add a nice quick way to send a thought without the cost or delay of mailing the card. I'm guessing this omission is deliberate, as it may be perceived as undercutting the card sales, but it would round Popcarte out nicely.

I quickly grabbed this as soon as I saw it, because I think it's a brilliant idea.
Setting up delivery of a card is a snap. The process is intuitive, streamlined, and feature-rich. You're even able to add a signature, directly from your iPhone. Placing an order is just as simple. You have the choice to either pay as you go (each time), or purchase credit in advance to use toward cards in the future. Nice touch, especially if you only plan on sending a few cards at a time, and don't want to enter your payment information every time.
I just placed my first order, and had it shipped to myself, so I can see how the final product looks. I assume, that if the quality of the card matches the quality of Popcarte , it'll be excellent. I'll alter my review if the card arrives shoddy, but I doubt that will be the case.

Just got our card in mail. It looks awesome! I did have to contact this app via email to get status on card shipment and they emailed me back right away to give me status so you may have to email them for updates

I sent my card request and got card in 5 days they are busy but if you email them they do respond pronto!!

quality of card is good they print it on photo quality card stock with glossy photo finish and white envelope with typed address.

Good for those times when u need to send card and u have no time to run to store and get card and then mail it

Handwritten signature turned out great

I love the ease of use. I sent 3 cards including one to myself will advise how the cards look. The only thing I would like to see is a final review of the card after you put it into your shopping cart just on case you want to make changes.

To the person who said the font slider only went up to 9 points that is because the more your write in your card the smaller the font will be.

Thanks for making the creation and sending of cards so easy!!

PROS:
First off, kudos for the concept. This is definitely unique and not something I've come across before.
Secondly, I like the options. You have a pre-downloaded set of collections to choose from and you can download additional (for free as far as I can tell) depending on your card needs.
I also loved that you can mail cards internationally not just domestically. And the best part about this is there did not seem to be an additional charge for international mailinga

CONS:
What I did not like (or couldnt figure out how to do) is edit a card after adding to cart.

UNKNOWN:
I did not actually place an order so I cannot comment on the service, delivery ETA, tracking capabilities, etc. I'm assuming these are not highly developed which is fine, but a good enhancement would be allowing customers to choose some premium/tiered shipping options to allow faster delivery or tracking

Overall, 5 stars for concept, functionality and utility. I would like to give 4 based on the unknown, but that is really unknown because of me, not because of Popcarte .

Hey wow! This is actually pretty cool... So what you do is choose from a number of categories of card types such as birthday, valentines, anniversary, etc. Then you go through the category and pick out a format for the card, they have quite a few formats and styles to choose from. Then depending on the style you pick out or take a new picture to put on the card. After that you tell it if you want it to be a postcard or foldable card, write a message, and then with your finger create your signature.

I've got to say not bad... Nice UI, nice idea. Felt pretty easy to use. Only takes two or 3 minutes to choose everything and have the card ready to be sent.

I LOVE Popcarte! I use it a couple times a month to send photos of my daughter to my grandmother who doesn't use Facebook or email. It's as easy as posting to Instagram, especially if you send to the same people over and over again. I've sent a couple to myself to check the quality. I'm in America and they come from France so it comes in an envelope which keeps it in good shape. Similar in print quality to Walgreens. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because I wish they would add a square card option for my Instagrams. (Hint hint! I will update!)

Whoever thought of Popcarte is a genius! Yah, I know it's not really "free", but what do you expect? Either way the cards are only like 5 bucks with shipping and they are pretty good quality. Only one suggestion though... Along with the iPad software update (which allows for wireless printing), You guys should make so you can print it yourself. I'm sure lots of people would still buy them your way because they are higher quality, but what if say a kid just wants to give his mother a card. It would be nice for him to have that option of printing. Oh and iPad sizing.

this app is a great idea for a new breed of app. It allows you to create your own cards with your own photos, font choices and signature and boasts a dynamic, easy to use interface, which is drastically improved from most document creating apps. However, it is painfully obvious that there is much room for improvement. The level of customization is much lower than it potentially and ideally should be. You are limited to templates which do not leave any room to customize more than the picture. While this app does hold and advantage over other card vendors, it delivers a depressingly low amount of features and could be much improved.

Owners of iDevices without cameras in them, such as myself, may find Popcarte to be not particularly compelling as it is just as easy to send an e-mail note to someone. Nothing beats a real card in the mail, that you can hold in your hands, to make someone you care about feel extra special. Popcarte is a fantastic idea for the frequent traveler and adventurer with a camera-equipped iPhone or new iPod Touch revision. Particularly creative people may find the included clip art for card creation a bit on the generic side.

Nice app. Lots of different postcards to choose from with more you can download. $2 to send a postcard isn't too bad in exchange for ease of use with Popcarte . It's straightforward and simple to use; you can easily crank out a postcard without having to worry about stamps or walking to the mailbox lol. Love the ability to sign the postcard. They should take the signature ability and use it to be able to "hand write" the actual letter part by writing the individual words as that would really bump it up to a 5 star app

Popcarte could be so cool. The concept is awesome, and the need is certainly there. But seriously, developers, you have got to pay attention to significant photo handling details. For instance, make it possible to rotate a portrait image to fit sideways on the card. And for that matter, what's up with the stupid, fit a rectangular image into a square frame to print on a rectangular card. I scored Popcarte 2 points for the potential, and because I know no other substitute for sending custom photo post cards. But purely on functionality Popcarte is a big disappointment. I hope the developers will see the value in continuing to improve Popcarte. It COULD BE so cool.

I like the idea of Popcarte a great deal. Assuming your recipients don't mind the fact that the postcard itself won't be fully hand-written, this is definitely worth doing, especially if you're on vacation and want to tell the folks back home what's going on.

I have no complaints about Popcarte itself, however it would have been nice if the product description here within Popcarte Store included the schedule of prices for the different services provided.

My family and friends live in America and I am living in Japan. It's been tough to keep in touch and I admit, I am lazy to go to the post office to send off letters and postcards. Popcarte is great! There are tons of templates to choose from. I like that I can pick a contact from my address book so that I don't have to search for or type out addresses. $2 for a postcard including postage is also very affordable.

This is a really easy to use app, allowing people to create and sent postcards in seconds! and just for $2. There are quite a few different themes to choose from and the signature is a nice touch.

Only really down side is that the download cards option doesn't know what you have already and still download it even through you might already have them and then orange buttons and title bar doesn't look that professional, but it is cheerful

I gotta tell you I have a wife that will spend 7 hours making one thank you card to send out to someone. I always say "what a waste of time". But this program is so simple I was able to design a good looking card in about 3 minutes. And you can do it while in line at the super market. Also for a postcard to only be $1.99 including shipping it makes it very reasonable. I would just say possibly adding more themes. But good work.

Popcarte is super easy to use. There are plenty of choices in every category, whether it be a holiday card, birthday, thank you or just a thinking of you card (or postcard). Cards are sent from France and say they may take up to 14 days to arrive. I read reviews for other apps and this is comparable, also a point of contention. My first card arrived in 10 days. Recipient was thrilled with card as well as envelope. Overall very pleased.
