I switched my primary mobile device to iOS. After using 8x8 Work for years on Windows and Android devices, the iOS version is unusable as it will not even connect to phone services. And yet, it will ring if I get a call.

I use the ios app on a iPhone 14 and often the phone will ring and when I answer the call it still shows active but the call does not connect. I am missing too many calls. The app is a great asset but with this malfunction it is unusable. What is the work around to correct this behaviior?

How to fix 8x8 Work app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the 8x8 Work app on iPhone
Update 8x8 Work app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall 8x8 Work iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix 8x8 Work on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve 8x8 Work network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

8x8 Work Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix 8x8 Work not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the 8x8 Work App
1. On android, goto Settings » 8x8 Work » click [Force Stop]

Update 8x8 Work to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear 8x8 Work App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » 8x8 Work » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart 8x8 Work.

Fix 8x8 Work unable to contact server/ 8x8 Work internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click 8x8 Work » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto 8x8 Work » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch 8x8 Work
