These guys have been nothing but hard to work with ever since I opened my account with them. Even though I had originally opened an account which I could use in Europe with Euros or Pounds they insisted I get a USA account (though I am a dual national and have and Irish passport). They made me transfer my account to the USA and I had to have it sent to a USA address even though I live overseas. Then when I went to use the card no one accepts it so it’s been virtually useless to me as a MasterCard. Next I tried to withdraw money to my bank ccount and they held up the withdrawal asking for a bank statement and did not sent me any notification of that even though they said they sent an email to me informing me of that. I thought this would be an easy, seemless way to trade in gold and for that part I guess it’s okay; but it has beeen far from seemless and your funds are not liquid as they have so many freaking rules and regulations and contrary advice from England to the USA; it’s simply a pain in the tush (posterior). So caveat emptor. Finally, this morning one of their people was helpful and responsive and assured me that my withdrawal is on its way to my bank. An update: if you have any spending discrepancies re. Price paid while overseas their staff is very responsive and will follow up on it.

Quick warning for anyone planning on using this card: they do not accept direct deposit from your employer (despite having a routing number) and only accept money from a ‘main bank account’ (despite being advertised as being usable as a main account). What this means is that every time you want money on this account, you have to manually wire it from a separate account. Every. Single. Time. That doesn’t sound very convenient now, does it? Unless you want to use it to save money (which still wouldn’t make the process any less inconvenient) this aspect makes using it to make everyday purchases a massive, pointless pain. After all, if you have a main bank account, why bother transferring the funds just to spend them? The only redeeming qualities of this service are the gold/bill exchange (aka the cornerstone of the service) and the design. These two things are the only reason that this review has two stars instead of one. However, if you want gold, you’re better off buying a gold coin, as it would have much more straightforward then this confused mess of an app.

I have had an account since August 2019, but have not been able to add funds to the account yet. I have tried 3 different bank cards, but always get an error message. I contacted customer support and was advised “the fastest way to top-up while this is being investigated is via bank transfer”. Guess what? I am extremely reluctant to fund my account via bank transfer, if they cannot resolve problems with their app in a timely manner. Well, months later it is apparently still being investigated! Every so often, I attempt a top-up vía card, but never with success. If they ever resolve this problem, I might attempt to use my account, but after such a long wait — I doubt it! Too bad, I do like the concept of investing in gold through an app.

have received my card, trying to activate it through GlintBuyGoldInstantly yet it seems impossible to do so. I actually regret dealing with you company already. The camera function won't scan the card and typing in the card number doesn't do anything. What good is your service if it's this hard to activate a card. Tried sending an email and that couldn't go through. If my emails can't reach your customer service why should I trust you people with my money.

Completed all of the steps listed to do a bank transfer and then received an email saying Congratulations my account is now open and fully registered. So I then initiated a transfer through my bank that got processed. Four days later when the money still hasn’t shown up in my Glint account I receive a broken English email stating “This is friendly reminder that we are waiting for your bank statement to establish ownership on your bank account.” Nowhere on Glints website or app is this final step ever mentioned or let alone how to complete it. This is EXTREMELY unprofessional and needless to say I was forced to cancel the transfer and sadly reconsider using Glint’s services at all.

I have read a few of your reviews & yes just like some I to had a little bit of a problem in the beginning!
But with patients & reaching out, when I had the time I got everything resolved!
I do like that this is on mobile, & possibly tablet but I don’t have one, but I wished it was also on computer apps as well!
But I do have a question is it possible if you have made a review & it wasn’t in the best of light can anyone revise the review after getting assistance to eliminate the negative reviews on your post, & have you reached out to others that you have helped correct issues with & asked them for a new review so you can post them side by side?

I was a bit hesitant on GlintBuyGoldInstantly but when I installed the application and actually see how I can buy gold with my money makes me feel good. I look forward to building my portfolio most definitely.

Glint makes it so simple to transfer dollars to actually owning gold! And they safely store it for me. My dollars increase when gold value increases, AND I have a debit card to make purchases anywhere! The value of the dollar will continue to decrease, gold will always be a valuable commodity.

Have only had GlintBuyGoldInstantly for two weeks, but great so far. Also reached out to customer service and they were very prompt in getting back to me and helping. Love having this as an option as the Federal Reserve Note dies. Looking forward to getting my card in the mail!

Glint is an awesome platform to invest in the precious metal gold. Very easy to buy, use, or liquidate assets with GlintBuyGoldInstantly and the debit card. I also noticed GlintBuyGoldInstantly supports multiple currencies like GBP and EUR. This is a very cool concept and I think the glint team will do more things that no one else has before. I encourage them to keep developing their product.

It’s nice to buy gold at spot value rather than spending extra to sellers online. I like that I can cash out when I see the price of gold dropping. I typically put in between $20 to $80 depending on my budget. It’s always nice to see my money growing.

This has got to be the coolest app I’ve experienced. So simple to use. I just ordered my debit card. I sent the team a feature I would love to see that makes buying gold easier and that reoccurring purchases and it’s already on their roadmap. Looking forward to growing with GlintBuyGoldInstantly. Had a hiccup at first, but wasn’t app related. Customer service solved my issue which was nice. They were quick to respond so 👌🏼. Love the concept and GlintBuyGoldInstantly /card are all well made and nice on the eyes haha definitely see allot of potential, especially with all the QE the ECB and Fed are messing with. A few additions which would make GlintBuyGoldInstantly nice:
1: charts
2: integrate blockchain

I’ve been trying to create an account for a few days now and every time I set up all my information and go to confirm my account and never loads. Then when I close out GlintBuyGoldInstantly and re-launch it it says that there’s a connection error and GlintBuyGoldInstantly can’t connect to the server. This is very disappointing and discouraging.

Customer service is horrible, I went on vacation and there were holds placed on my Glint card. After I returned, the holds were never released and it’s 3 weeks later and my funds are still on hold after the hotel and cruise line sent Glint the authorization letter to release my money!
Glintpay team don’t have a clue as to what they’re going. Only to send me pacifying emails stating their working on it smh!! Stay far away and just buy physical buillion/coin!!!

I’m a big fan of sound money because I believe that fiat currencies are trash. Glint gives me an easy way to save my money in gold until I’m ready to spend it. It’s an additional 0.5% per transaction, but I feel it’s well worth it since my wealth is stored in a safe haven until use.
Highly recommend GlintBuyGoldInstantly for someone who’s interested in learning about gold and how it can preserve your buying power.

GlintBuyGoldInstantly is a very simple interface connecting you to your gold holdings. No need to keep the gold secure, they do it for you. I have piece of mind knowing I have gold holdings, physical equivalent in a European vault, if I ever need access to emergency currency. And if I need the funds now, an easy transfer from gold to usd is loaded on my card ready to spend. A basic app makes this a must for anyone who wants some extra financial security in these chaotic and woke days.

I setup my Glint account a few weeks ago. I find buying gold to be straight forward and the premium very low. Gold is allocated and stored in Swiss vaults.

I have interacted with support staff on 2 or three occasions and have found their staff to be well informed and highly motivated to provide fast responses.

GlintBuyGoldInstantly is simple and straight forward.

My desire was to protect my current bank fiat funds from debasement by transferring them into gold and paying out current debts/purchases with a “gold backed currency”.

I have most of my account in gold and keep a small amount in USD. This keeps my card more secure from internet theft because my risk is only on the USD side since my card is set to make purchases out of only cash, not gold.

It will be an added bonus when they provide a bill paying option in the future.

So far this service has been a great experience for me. Ordered my card and topped up my account seamlessly and was able to get started buying gold. The fees are reasonable and all clearly marked out in the FAQs. Purchases with the card work as expected and Apple Pay works too.

My only gripe is the quality of the card. Card is sturdy, however It’s the old style with raised numbers. Mine came with half of the gold paint rubbed off the numbers. Not the end of the world but a bit annoying. If they made the numbers printed and added tap support it would be… golden.

GlintBuyGoldInstantly is simple. I would like to see some charts.

Adding money to the account isn’t super intuitive. Why is it called Top Up? Once you use it however it makes sense.

Also, an automatic reoccurring buying option would be a sweet feature to add as well.
