If you ever have an issue these crooks will try to keep your money! I bought a deal and the very next day it was cheaper so I requested a refund and selected on original payment. It went through and my account said refunded before I rebought the exact same deal. I waited and nothing! Not even their stupid deal bucks which is their store credit. I asked where my money was and now they changed and said I’ll get the deal bucks...no one wants that! You already have my money way for the exact same thing! My store credit is still a $0 balance...because I never asked for it!!! Currently disputing because they rather tie up customers money instead of doing the right thing! Will never use them again! Beware of living social!

Good morning, I’ve been trying to straighten my account out for numerous numerous months, last person was Carlos, this app had close my account and my fair size credit on the books, had I not caught it, I could have never received my credit. He would not call me by phone, requested numerous times to talk to human, also about my existing vouchers, businesses being closed etc., he finally understood what I was saying put me back with an account and the balance back where it was, but he put an expiration date on the balance??? Tried and tried and tried to get back with him to straighten everything out of all my concerns, but would not did not respond. Customer support to no avail either I need to speak with a human please, to go over my account, I’ve lost vouchers because I cannot get help from this company… what has happened to humans, phone number, so there will be no more misunderstandings I choose not to lose any more money, would like to talk to human to help me with these remaining vouchers with your company. Please. Bring back a phone number and humans please, I need help from a human being before I can close the account out I prefer a refund M.Shockley

LivingSocial deserves the one star. So I ordered and iPhone X because my old phone broke, and it said arriving in 11-12 days. 12 days go by and no phone. So I waited more time because maybe it was just a little slow. Another 9 days go by and no phone. I check the tracking on the package. It was in West Virginia on APRIL 8. I thought that something had to have gone wrong because it was shipping to Connecticut. So we wrote to this app and asked them what had happened. They said that our package had been lost. So, we asked for a refund. No response. We had to write to this app on a different website for a refund and the finally gave it to us. IN DEALBUCKS. Meaning we had to spend the $500 dollar refund on this app. I didn’t intend on buying another phone from them but now I had to. I bought the phone and it took 10 days no ship. Not bad. But when I got it... THE SCREEN WAS CRACKED. When we returned the phone they said they were going to give us a refund. IN DEALBUCKS. Now 2 months have gone by without a working phone and finally the fully working phone came. I won’t buy and electronic or maybe anything from LivingSocial again.

My mother-in-law gifted me numerous deals from living social. One item was a trade-in but when I sent off for the trade-in I never received my deal bucks. When I contacted customer support they said they needed to talk to mother-in-law since she purchased it even though I had the voucher number and the gift on file. So that was a nightmare trying to correlate between customer service, my mother-in-law, and trying to trade-in my deal before the 24hr window was up. Not happy with this service at all. And I had another deal that redeemed itself at 3:00am. I never even got to use the deal and so guess what, customer service refused to talk to me once again because it was a gift from my mother-in-law. Needless to say I’d be happy looking for another service before using this one.

Love the savings with Living Social deals, but FRUSTRATED lately with customer service (they were great in the past) one rep says one thing and another says some different. And you don’t know if you are talking to a rep with Groupon or Living Social..very confusing. It’s also taking longer than before to get credit back..have had to follow up a few times even after rep said it was being processed immediately..
It’s not easy either to reach out to customer service..I have to hunt down the chat box..not able to just call which would make my life so much easy!
Great experience unless you have a problem with the merchant.

I love the specials that this group provides. In the last 18 months I’ve had three problems with the merchants that I purchased coupons for. Under return calls for making appointments, or that merchant going out of business. Contacting this app is like finding a needle in the haystack. However once you know the pathTo getting someone’s attention. The company does right in making amends. If anything I like down the score because living social needs to make it easier to contact them if there’s a problem. This is not so right now.

I like LS because they have always been very helpful if I don't have time to use my voucher before the expiration date. As it gets closer to the expiration date, they will send me notifications & reminders. This helps me with my busy schedule. As a rule, I've been happy with what I have ordered. The only exception is when they were affiliated with "OPEN SKY" . Which was a scam site in my opinion. I ordered things & they didn't fit, were wrong color,or just cheap looking. I tried to return the items but by the time, they would respond with a RMD #. They'd say it had been too long. When I contacted Living Social they said, they were sorry but they were no longer affiliated with them. If it had not been for the Living Social endorsements, I'm pretty sure I would never have gotten involved with Open Sky and lost quite a bit of money.

I love finding great deals on this app. I have however been disappointed the last few purchases I have made on this site and one other. If you are not careful the shipping for your new purchase can sometimes cost as much or more than your Deal! Also the companies insist on shipping everything separately. So if you buy 2 of one thing you will have to pay 2 shipping cost. They will not combine your order! This has kept me from using 3 of my vouchers. Other than that I enjoy the local deals. Just make sure you read everything and check their websites. Some businesses offer the same deals on their FB or website. With no expiration. By State Law, in AR your gift cards and certificates are to be good a minimum of 2 years...

This is the first app review I’ve written, but given my latest encounter w/LS, I felt compelled to write a review. I’ve been using this service for 4+ years and I LOVE it! I get great deals on gifts, products, and services. I recently had an issue w/one of my vouchers and had to contact customer service to request a refund. I was AMAZED at how quickly, courteously, and efficiently they took care of me. It was a truly HASSLE-FREE experience and I really appreciated it.
The only problem I have is that I’m a smartphone/app user and I hate not being able to access my vouchers or use LivingSocial unless I’m connected to wi-fi. It’s really frustrating, especially if I quickly want to pull up my voucher at a merchant’s business. Please fix this!!!!
I have been a loyal customer of Living Social for years. I always check to see if there are good deals with discounts to try before returning paying full price. I have purchased restaurants, beauty, massages, facials, jewelry and trip deals etc. I have experienced several occasions where business CLOSED or moved. Contact Living Social with information and gotten credit to use elsewhere. At times, I had difficulty contacting them not remembering how I got them. Eventually, I get good results. I find at times, I have gotten greedy, purchasing more than I remember when to use - for them to lost their deal resorting to use what I paid for! I highly recommend using this app and Groupon for savings...

I find so many things to do and learn what’s available in my area by using living social. I’m not a fan of the groupon hoops you have to jump through, at all. So I don’t buy merch like I did before they merged. I try to intentionally purchase things that support local businesses. Living Social has allowed me to do so much more than I thought I could afford for my whole family as a single Mom. Even bought flight lessons and will scratch another adventure off of my bucket list. 😇

Living Social is a great way to get to know a new town when you don’t already have favorite hairdressers or places. The deals are good, and Living Social support personnel are very fair about refunds when something doesn’t work, such as a service provider not being available. The drawback is that some service providers aren’t good at communicating. It can take a long time to actually schedule a service you’ve bought a voucher for. I’ve had about a 20-25% failure rate on spa services (haircuts, massages). Prepare to be flexible when using Living Social vouchers!

Nothing is perfect, but this is moderately close. Steep discounts for local, online and merchant products with additional savings based on promo codes sent to your inbox. There is a fair amount of frustration when accessing vouchers to be redeemed, and requesting refunds. There is a difference between the mobile and PC apps/webpages. I use LivingSocial regularly, and have enjoyed it for the last three years. I believe I will continue to use it, or it’s sister app Groupon, for much time to come. I recommend you try it.

I’ve enjoyed this app for several years now and it is my “go-to” app for fun stuff, ie air fryers, smoker, solar lights. I’ve even bought clinical services. The things I buy arrive timely and I have tried all kinds of things. I recommend reading the fine print on what you want. Out of 50+ purchases, I may have been upset twice. One time with a hotel reservation and a mudslide. Highly recommend it!
I've used Living Social for years and have never been disappointed in the quality of services, Escapes and restaurant deals that I've purchased. The two times I had an issue it was handled by customer service in a prompt, fair and friendly fashion. I highly recommend Living Social to anyone who likes to try new restaurants, entertainment and service options at an incredible price! I love Living Social!

Living Social has really made a come back! It was overshadowed by Groupon for quite a while, but it has added a much larger variety of deals than before. I frequently get promo codes emailed to me for additional savings which attracts me to this company over Groupon. I have been happy with my purchases and getting to experience new businesses I typically would not have known about without a voucher. Keep it up!

As my title states I think the best thing about LivingSocial is that it gives me creative ideas for things that I can do with my kids that I would otherwise not have thought of. Also I love massages and I get the best massage deals on here that I’ve ever found. If you’re looking for a deal in anything you can look it up and they have something here.I have been using this app For many many many years and have gotten so many amazing deals.

I have been a this app customer for almost 10 years now. I love all the discounts they give on all the cool, fun, exciting adventures that they have available on their site. I have done so many things that I probably would never have done thanks to Living Social! I’ve gotten everything from discount haircut and highlights all the way to Whitewater rafting adventures! I’ve going to the Pirates dinner theater, Magic shows, dinner dance shows, a John Lennon impersonator show, golf lessons and much much more! I have told so many people about this app who did not know about the service. I highly recommend it.
this app introduces a huge menu of places to visit, restaurants to explore and a wide variety of services to enjoy. The opportunities seem endless and the price is a great incentive. I think this is definitely a win win for everybody. Businesses have a chance to attract new clients and clients can explore places they might not have noticed otherwise. In addition, I’ve recently been in the hospital and several vouchers expired. Upon hearing my problem, both vouchers were extended. I’m impressed, thanks Living Social!

I got a item $300 charged to my account, that I did not want. I did not select this item but when I was scrolling down the iPad app put the item in my shopping cart. I tried to delete it but was unable to delete. I closed LivingSocial and then several days late this item was deducted from my account. I sent an email say I did want this item but email bounced. I call my bank credit card authorization to complain and was told try chatting with the company. They refuse to cancel this order since it was more than three days. I am stuck with a item I don’t want and won’t every use. I am not impressed don’t save a credit card number on LivingSocial.

💕❤️💕❤️ I love the variety of choices for my family and I-especially the fact that I can either use the deals right away, or tuck them away for a rainy or sad day! And when traveling, it’s quite hilarious 😂 to find out that you’ve COMPLETELY morphed into your Parents, no matter how hard you fought, because you’re searching for EVERY SINGLE DEAL THAT YOU CAN GET, getting you labeled the frugal one in the group (i.e. ME 😂) because of all the L.S. deals I found along the way. 😂

What I like about living social is that they don’t have cash back like Groupon. It’s much easier & faster to find places or dining establishments which is great. The reason I rarely use Groupon because of the cash back which I don’t like. Too much of a hassle. But, I thing I don’t like about living social is when you send me to save an extra 25% and I find it hard to find places who except that promotion. Thanks
