How to fix Gumtree app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Gumtree app on iPhone
Update Gumtree app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Gumtree iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Gumtree on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Gumtree network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Gumtree Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Gumtree not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Gumtree App
1. On android, goto Settings » Gumtree » click [Force Stop]

Update Gumtree to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Gumtree App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Gumtree » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Gumtree.

Fix Gumtree unable to contact server/ Gumtree internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Gumtree » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Gumtree » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Gumtree
