Constantly getting rid of good products

Why are you always doing away with perfectly good products that I buy regularly. Yet there are about 200 different kinds of rijstwafels??? No more strong roots but a million rijstwafels. Make it make sense. Variety is a good thing! Uhhhhghhh

Do not order delivery from AH

I ordered delivery after many times of doing so. The delivery person did not come, but said they did . I was home the whole time in front of the bell. They called me from an anonymous number which my phone automatically blocked as spam. AH then charged me 50euros for the missed delivery and refuses to waive it

Kan niet meer inloggen

Nederlander in het buitenland, kunnen niet meer in ons account omdat we geen Nederlands telefoonnummer meer hebben. Zonde van onze lijsten met favoriete recepten.

After the last update, it doesn’t load anything.

Terrible user interface for ordering

We’ve decided to pay for a year of free delivery (€150) which includes “personalized delivery moments”. Well, that essentially means you can order once a week, which is not flexible enough with a family.
However the real terrible part is that AlbertHeijnsupermarkt doesn’t allow you to differentiate a grocery list from an order. Once you decide to order to look at the delivery options, it’s very easy to lose your ordering spot, and have to wait 2 weeks for the next moment.
The only way to get back to your grocery list and its filtering system is to “cancel your order”, which by itself is dumb enough, but then without any communication drops the delivery moment, rendering your €150 cost useless.
The other weird part of AlbertHeijnsupermarkt is that their services are still designed to be used by one person. For families this is really annoying; why can’t my spouse login under the same account as another user, and add or remove grocery items? Why is “sharing grocery list” limited to sending a text/email, instead of inviting additional users?
Albert Heijn is clearly behind on providing a modern experience and in fact its app completely ruined a very expensive annual subscription for us.

App has False Pricing

This has happened to me multiple times and that is why I have decided ronkende a review. I believe AlbertHeijnsupermarkt is false advertising prices.

I need something and find that it is is “on sale” at Albert Heijn. I make a purchase, specifically wanting this item but ordering other things to meet the minimum order requirement. Then upon delivery, I see that the discounted item isn’t there. When I contact Albert Heijn customer service, they told me that the low price item is “out of stock” and therefore can’t be delivered. Yet, it is still able to be put into my cart for a second order at the low price to be delivered later this week. I asked if they could remove the minimum order requirement so I can reorder the original item that I wanted in my first order and they will not! So in order to get the sale priced item, I need to place another 70€ order (meanwhile I already stocked up in my last 70€ order..... not getting the item that I needed).

This exact situation has happened to me three times now. It is false advertising and a scam.

Useful but lack of English is an issue

AlbertHeijnsupermarkt is good (generally) for orders, but it’s a bit frustrating that there’s no option to change the language to English. Would be helpful if you could also have an option to return crates.

Need to have an English option and a way to rate the delivery service

Sometimes your delivery guys are increasingly rude and I would like you to know how they behave with your clients.

No wallet pass & no English

Really nice app and useful. I also love the UI and how easy it is to use AlbertHeijnsupermarkt .
However I wish it has english version and
I wish I could add my bonus card to apple wallet.

Good app but..

It’s a really helpful app but being that they have a large customer base who doesn’t speak Dutch, they should’ve added an English version

English version Needed!

As the largest supermarket in the Netherlands, Albert Heijn should take the lead in creating more user friendly and inclusive APP. English version would definitely benefit a larger population!

Needs work

No problems with opening times or products. It is not clear how to determine if the local filial has a specific product. The route planner should be removed until it can find more than 30 percent of the items.

I’ve used self-checkout at Albert Heijn for over eight years using the hamdscanner. Then I learned about AlbertHeijnsupermarkt , which gives me extra Bonus deals, so I quickly switched. I can now checkout and pay in under a minute.

I wish it had the English version ... anyway I understand it’s a MASSIVE system running AlbertHeijnsupermarkt and all it’s integrations ... so not an easy task for AH

Wish English Was An Option

It would be useful if AlbertHeijnsupermarkt was available in English. Generally, I do not have an issue, but sometimes Google Translate doesn’t help find what I need. Additionally, AlbertHeijnsupermarkt doesn’t show more similar/popular items under the item you’re viewing. I believe if they added a list of items under what you’re looking at, more customers would be inclined to shop more.

Actual issues I have with AlbertHeijnsupermarkt :
1. I originally created an account in August. For some reason, I was logged out and my email was no longer found in the server? I had to create another account in September, which was troublesome and confusing.
2. I also didn’t have this issue previously, but now I cannot find delivery times two weeks in advance. Are more people now using grocery deliveries due to COVID this winter? Or is this a system issue? It takes a while to load the delivery schedule, but only to find no availabilities... The AH store at my place is small and can’t supply much of my needs, so I need to get those items from AlbertHeijnsupermarkt . Now, I do not have access to it and may have to go for a different online grocery store.

If you have a bonus card and an email account linked to AlbertHeijnsupermarkt , it makes this So much more useful! Absolutely well done! The scanner is the best part in my opinion, very intuitive and responsive!

English version or option?

App is great when I have help and just love the whole AH experience as the stores are easy to navigate and staff are very friendly and help me out as much as they can. I just wish there was a English option as I don’t speak/read Dutch very well since I am from America. I hope that gets added in the future.
