NBC News app will not open. Keep getting message it has stopped. Have tried reinstalling to no avail. Help please! Thanks

I have not been hearing any sound for the last few days with the NBC new app. IPad Version 10.10. Build 230607.16.31. ? Normally the adds don’t have sound but the new videos do. Now no sound. The other apps work find including Fox News; DW … others.
