I have not been hearing any sound for the last few days with the NBC new app. IPad Version 10.10. Build 230607.16.31. ? Normally the adds don’t have sound but the new videos do. Now no sound. The other apps work find including Fox News; DW … others.

How to fix NBC News app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the NBC News app on iPhone
Update NBC News app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall NBC News iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix NBC News on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve NBC News network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

NBC News Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix NBC News not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the NBC News App
1. On android, goto Settings » NBC News » click [Force Stop]

Update NBC News to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear NBC News App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » NBC News » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart NBC News.

Fix NBC News unable to contact server/ NBC News internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click NBC News » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto NBC News » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch NBC News
