Ugh this update is killing me. Sure SleepmakerStormsFree now plays in the background again which is great, but the timer is messed up. It used to set automatically to 45 minutes; now I have to manually do that. Last night I set the timer for an hour, I had 70% battery, and woke up with SleepmakerStormsFree still somehow on but not playing and I had 33%. Why?!
This timer needs some serious work... Or, idk, JUST PUT IT BACK TO THE OLD VERSION.

This was one of my favorite apps until a recent update replaced the original sounds with poorer sounding but smaller tracks. The difference isn't as noticeable through cheap speakers, but put it on a quality dock and you can notice the lack of bass since the update. Also, I think the tracks are shorter now, with noticeable repeats. Often you hear the same thunder pattern every 7-10 seconds. Thunder is too quiet vs. Wind/rain (which sounds like static now).

I usually don't give bad reviews, especially for apps I really like/use, but this update has me looking for an alternative. I've avoided upgrading the other sleepmaker apps for this reason. Please bring back the old sounds. I would give 5 stars if they would bring back the old tracks.

I love SleepmakerStormsFree and use it almost every night to get to sleep. However, with the update came a bunch of ads. It kind of defeats the purpose of SleepmakerStormsFree if a car commercial starts playing during the rain. :/ I hope they will fix this soon as it's quite annoying when trying to get to sleep.

Fixed background play, great! The 3D Touch doesn't work but it's still listed as a new feature?

I have loved the sound of thunderstorms when sleeping most of my life. Depending on your sound system setup it may be different for you but I spent a lot of time calibrating my surround sound speakers for movies and in all honesty, if I turn out the lights/shut the shades, I literally feel like there's a rain/thunder storm outside.

Only thing I noticed a little bit off was for some of the playbacks you can noticeably hear the track replaying rather than it being a smooth crossover.

Developer fixed a bug and SleepmakerStormsFree is back to being a great way to relax and fall asleep.

I have a very hard time falling asleep partly due to health reasons. My doctors and I have tried everything, but it was not until I found the Sleepmaker apps and started using this one and the rainmaker app did I start falling asleep a lot faster. It also helps me stay asleep when I set the timer for several hours. This has made a huge difference to me. Thanks for having these wonderful apps. I highly recommend these apps to everyone.

I was so sad and disappointed by the last app update that basically ruined SleepmakerStormsFree, but THANK YOU for listening to the feedback and fixing that horrible fail!! I missed falling asleep to the sounds of these storms. I'm so happy to have it back!!

I love SleepmakerStormsFree. I've always had trouble falling asleep and I've tried everything from meditation to pharmaceuticals to shaking my fist at the sky. When I got my first iPhone I immediately started downloading these types of apps and this is now the one still on my device. I use it every night. My wife now uses it too, especially when she needs to sleep during the day. Issues with the buttons and what not are of no concern to either of us. The tonal qualities and cadence could only be improved by the programmers adding the scent of actual rain. We even use it when it's really raining to supplement a lack of thunder. I use this more than any other app on my phone. Great work on a useful and rewarding app. The reward? SLEEP!

Thanks for the speedy fix. I was lost without SleepmakerStormsFree! Been using it for years every night. Even my dogs know it's sleep time when its on.
