It’s easy to use, and there are a lot of options to chose from to suit your mood. I live close to the ocean, but after having to travel for 3 months to inland location I had trouble sleeping at night and got really homesick. No joke, once I started using SleepmakerWaves I would easily fall asleep and stay asleep. Thank you to the developers!

Simple, easy to use and relaxing. I like the gentle rolling waves. Updates have made it even better. I am recommending it for my clients.

Always loved SleepmakerWaves for years but noq after the recent update/overhaul it doesn’t work. I click a sound option and it plays 1-2 seconds before it goes mute. Tried deleting and re-downloading and still broken. Now it’s useless.

The light fonts on blue backgrounds are too hard to read in dim light. There was nothing wrong with the old interface; what’s the point of making it harder to read?

I need SleepmakerWaves for relaxation and to help sleep. Thank you!

Many reviews claim this sounds like static. The ocean does sound like static. I've fallen asleep many nights in the past to the rythmic yet unanticipated sound of the Atlantic ocean outside my window. Thank you for delivering the power of the ocean I remember & don't get to re-visit more often.

I sadly have to modify my recent review of praise. I love SleepmakerWaves for sleeping. Problem is? The latest update is full of bugs. I cannot find anywhere to change the length of time SleepmakerWaves plays the ocean waves. It shuts off after 1 hr. It screen does not shutoff after 30 seconds. My iphone stays bright the entire time SleepmakerWaves is running draining the battery. The screen needs to dim and then shut off while running, a bright screen keeps my up like a night light. SleepmakerWaves details in SleepmakerWaves Store shows a rectangle icon in the upper left corner but my app doesn't have that. Is that where the menu is supposed to be perhaps? Finally when opening SleepmakerWaves you used to be able o hit the play button and it would remember and play the distant waves that I always listen to. Not any more you have to double click and then reselect the sound you want to hear each and every time. Which app companies would test software updates with a real user before launching updates to catch these bugs.

I use SleepmakerWaves at night. I love the waves. My alarm clock has nature sounds on it but, it turns off after a awhile. Such a pain at night. I also like that sleepmaker is free and you can choose to upgrade at a later date. This is my favorite app next to angry birds. I have most of the sleepmaker apps but, waves is the one I use most.
I wish I could purchase the pro version but, the space is too much for my iTouch.
Thank you for the two new tracks!!!!

My husband used to think I was weird for listening to this to fall asleep until one night I couldnt find my earbuds. I decided to let this play on low so I wouldn't disturb his sleep and its funny 'cause now he asks me to play it every time he has difficulty sleeping!(About 3x's or more a week) But i have to admit the effect of SleepmakerWaves sound much better with earbuds☺

For some people who say that it only goes for 45 min, they diddnt go to the info thing in the corner, (or wherever it was), and you can make it go for 23 hrs and 45 min. Also it works great if you just want to plug it in your sterio and have it as backround white noise. Good app.

Being a California girl, I'm naturally drawn to the beach. I love falling asleep by them or swimming and suddenly getting dunked underwater by waves. I was just testing out the different sounds and I near fell asleep listening to the medium for a minute, and it usually takes me a few hours to fall asleep!

App had a bug for iPad in landscape mode, but developers were very responsive and are hard at work to correct it in the next release. Until then, starting app in portrait mode will do the trick and you can sleep soundly again! :-)

This program really helped me sleep through our first night on vacation. The heavy waves program was loud enough to drown out outside noise and the timer options were long enough to get me through the night.

I really like SleepmakerWaves (and the Rain and Streams one). It's great for those nights when my brain is going 100 miles and hour and I just can't fall asleep. It helps relax and calm me so I don't toss and turn for forever waiting for sleep to come. It's great that it's FREE!

I had never used a noise maker to help me fall asleep. But I decided to try it to see If it would make me fall asleep faster and it really worked.I totally reccomend this for you!

I just updated SleepmakerWaves and tried to play it. So far it has crashed about 7-8 times. Not my idea of a peaceful experience.
I also think the sounds are too "technical" in that the way the engineers mic-ed the recordings, I can practically hear every water molecule as they ricochet off of the rocks. What about stepping back for a more rounded, mellow sound?
I'm looking forward to further updates since few alternatives are available.

Don't know about the previous review, but it did work for me. The sounds are really relaxing, making you drift away in sleep real soon. Recommend if you're a troubled sleeper like me.

The Heavy surf and coastline winds track has an annoying "tick" that repeats...other than that, it is great! Hope the track is fixed soon...it's my favorite one! Keep up the good work!
