When I make a call and the person doesn't answer, I hang up (red button). Voice redials without my asking for this, continually. I finally have to go to settings/Voice and stop the App.

I am helping my son to set up Google Voice app on his iPhone XR. The app directs me to sign in on Voice.google.com. But after I put in my son's Gmail and the password, it just goes back to the sign in page of the app.

It's funny how Google and parent company are giants, but they have the worst apps/software. Google Voice is almost pointless since it crashes so damn much and this is on my new desktop which is juiced to the gills. YouTube music freezes all the time, even when playing downloaded songs (on a new Galaxy). Chrome is the like a steam boat compared to modern ships when comparing to some other browsers. What's the deal?? Don't get me started on their hyper-controlled search engine either.

Whenever I start a Google search on my iPhone, it First crashes/cancels The search, and then Inhave to click microphone again in order to start a search.

How to fix Google Voice app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Google Voice app on iPhone
Update Google Voice app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Google Voice iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Google Voice on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Google Voice network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Google Voice Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Google Voice not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Google Voice App
1. On android, goto Settings » Google Voice » click [Force Stop]

Update Google Voice to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Google Voice App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Google Voice » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Google Voice.

Fix Google Voice unable to contact server/ Google Voice internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Google Voice » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Google Voice » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Google Voice
